Day 1: ARRIVAL VALENCIA

Arrive to Valencia airport and pick up your hired car (head to the hall to meet with a OK-rent-a-car representative). Valencia combines an important monumental legacy with the most innovative buildings. This city has been historically Spain´s Mediterranean port and has that special charm of cities that are also seaports. The building of “Lonja de la Seda” (silk exchange) dates back from the 15th century and is declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Gothic cathedral with its tower, “el Miguelete”, ist one of the symbols of the city. The “Mercado Colon” is situated in an emblematic building in the city center and ideal for a stop to enjoy a traditional snack. Day 2: VALENCIA – CALPE (125 Km – 1.5 hrs)

Pass By: Calpe, Calpe, Costa Blanca, Province of Alicante, Valencian Country
DAYS 2-3 | VALENCIA – CALPE (125 Km – 1.5 hrs) Take to the road after breakfast at the hotel and visit Calpe. Don’t forget to take a picture next to the impressive Peñon de Ifach, a gigantic rock reaching 332 metres high, a symbol of the Costa Blanca. You can also visit the hermitage of El Salvador and Baños de la Reina. Also recommended is the cove of Racó del Corv and La Fosa beach. Day 4: CALPE – TORREVIEJA (135 Km – 1.5 hrs)

Torrevieja is without a doubt another place to enjoy and discover wonderful coves and beaches. One of the most famous is Cala Ferris, offering great views. Discover, too, other picturesque places such as the Sea and Salt Museum, where you will learn about the historical fishing tradition of the city or the Mata Tower, built in the 14th century. The Lagunas Natural Park, a protected area of about 3,700 hectares, has two lakes – the pink Torrevieja lake and the green La Mata lake. On your way from Torrevieja to Valencia, perhaps make a stop in the city of Elche, which has three sites listed in the different categories of UNESCO´s World Heritage, the Historic Palm Grove, the Mystery Play of Elche and the Pusol School Museum. Day 7: DEPART

Breakfast at your hotel. Drive towards the airport Valencia to drop off the car. Return procedure and exact designated area will be adviced by rent a car company when you pick up the car on arrival day.
