Itinerary

Day 1: Izmir - Arrival Day

Pass By: Izmir, Izmir, Izmir Province, Turkish Aegean Coast
Upon our arrival at Izmir airport, our guide will meet you with your name sign to assist you on your transfer to hotel. You will be given your room key and the rest of the day is yours to Explore Izmir. Dinner and overnight in Izmir.

Day 2: Smyrna – Pergamon Tour

Stop At: Izmir, Izmir, Izmir Province, Turkish Aegean Coast
After the breakfast, drive to ancient Smyrna which was the second one of the seven Christian churches in Asia Minor to which St. John the Divine wrote. In the afternoon, we proceed to Thyatira, another one of the Seven Churches. See the remains of a Basilica and other ruins from the Roman Period. Dinner and overnight in Izmir.

Day 3: Pergamon Tour

Stop At: Izmir, Izmir, Izmir Province, Turkish Aegean Coast
After the tour, we visi the Pergamon (Bergama). Visit the Acropolis with its pagan temples and Altar of Zeus.
Continue to the healing center, Aesculapius. Dinner and overnight in Izmir.

Day 4: Sardis - Philadelphia – Pamukkale Tour

Stop At: Pamukkale, Pamukkale
After breakfast, depart for Sardes, yet another one of the Seven Churches mentioned by St. John. Continue to Philadelphia to, another one of the Christian congregations, and a city built in 2 BC by King Eumenos. Continue to Pamukkale (Hierapolis). Watch the sunset over the petrified waterfalls. Dinner and overnight in Pamukkale.

Day 5: Laodicea – Ephesus Tour

Stop At: Kusadasi, Kusadasi, Turkish Aegean Coast
After breakfast, visit Hierapolis and then Laodicea before continuing to Ephesus. See the final abode of the Virgin Mary where she spent her latest years. Tour through ancient Ephesus to see the old synagogue, the theatre where St. Paul preached, the Library of Celsus and other sights. Dinner and overnight in Kusadasi.

Day 6: Izmir to Istanbul by Flight and Istanbul Bosphorus Cruise

Stop At: Istanbul, Istanbul
After breakfast, depart for Izmir Airport for Transfer to the airport for the flight to Istanbul. Arrive to Istanbul and depart for Istanbul Bosphorus Cruise by boat which is a traditional excursion by boat along the waterway separating Europe and Asia. After the cruise, will take you to the Grand Spice Bazaar which is a unique atmosphere with reasonable prices for your shopping on many Exotic Spices and Herbs, Turkish Baklava, Turkish Delights, Turkish Coffee, nuts and fruits, small souvenirs such as Ceramic Handicrafts, Evil Eyes totems, all naturel olive oil, soaps and many other goods in Souvenir Shops and stores. Dinner and overnight in Istanbul.

Day 7: Istanbul City Tour – End of tour

Stop At: Istanbul, Istanbul
Our journey begins in Istanbul, after the breakfast, the only city in the world situated on two continents. We will visit the Topkapi Palace, The Blue Mosque and Hippodrome where chariot races and the Byzantine riots took place. After the tour, we will transfer you to Istanbul Airport for fly back home.
