  • Day 1 Day 1: Drive From Kathmandu To Pokhara (1,350M) 6-7 Hours.

      Our journey begins with a 6-7 hour drive toward the Pokhara Valley and its beautiful Phewa Tal (lake) and then checking in to your hotel close to Phewa Tal. From Pokhara you can see Annapurna and Machapuchare (shape of fish tail) in the north, Dhaulagiri in the west and Lamjung Himal and Manaslu in the east. There is plenty to see and do along Lakeside with its many shops, bars and restaurants to choose from.

  • Day 2 Day 2: Drive To Nayapul (1,010 M) And Trek To Tikhedunga (1,570 M) 5-6 Hours.

      We will drive for about 1.5 hours from Pokhara via the striking Lumle Village perched on a mountainside and then on to Nayapul (1050m). The Poon Hill trek begins at Nayapul and after a 30 minute hike we come to Birethanti where you will be asked to your tourist permit at the check point. We will follow the Modi River with a stop at a teahouse along the way, and after a 3 -4 hour trek reach the lush green village of Tikhedhunga.

      We begin today with a two hour fairly steep climb up to Ulleri (2070m) and then continue on to the Magar village of Banthanti from where we have some magical views of Mt. Machapuchare (6997m), Hiunchuli (6441m) and Annapurna South (7219m). We then trek through a lush pink, red and white flowering rhododendron forest and cross a small bridge before reaching the village of Ghorepani where enormous peaks, such as Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Annapurna loom in the background. This is an ideal place to sit back and take in the superb views.

  • Day 4 Day 4: Hike Up To Poonhill (3,210M) To Tadapani (2,610M) 6-7 Hours.

      Poon Hill offers unbelievable views of the Annapurna Ranges โ€“ most especially at sunrise and sunset. An early start to the day, prior to daybreak, will see us reach the Poon Hill viewpoint where we can watch the changing colors reflecting off the mountains, such as  Dhaulagiri (8167m), Annapurna I  (8091m), Annapurna II  (7937m), Annapurna III  (7855m), Annapurna IV (7525m), Annapurna South (729m), Nilgiri  (6940m), Tukuche  (6920m), Varaha Shikhar (7847m) & Lamjung Himal (6931m). Your camera will go into action here! After frantically snapping pictures we head back down to breakfast at Ghorepani, after which we head to Tadapani Village via the scenic trail passing through Deurali (meaning ridge in Nepali) before coming to Tadapani. 

  • Day 5 Day 5: Trek From Tadapani To Ghandruk (1,940M) 3-4 Hours.

      We have a fairly easy three hour trek that takes us through an oak and rhododendron forest. Wildflowers are also noticeable that add to the vivid beauty of this area. We will soon reach the mostly Gurung village of Ghandruk from where we can see Annapurna South, Gangapurna, (7455m), Machapuchare, Annapurna III and Hiunchuli. Ghandruk is the 2nd largest Gurung village in Nepal with a population of 4748 people. It has a rich culture, a museum and Buddhist monastery. One thing that you will notice is the unique style of architecture, with most houses having slate tiled roofs and stone walls. 


  • Day 6 Day 6: Trek Down To Nayapul And Drive To Pokhara (8,50M) 5-6 Hours.

      This is our last day on the trek and we head down stone steps past the terraced fields to Syaula Bazaar. The trail is a bit rough as we head to Nayapul, but still passable. On arrival at Pokhara you can rest, walk along lakeside or head to a bar or cafรฉ to take in the views over Phewa Tal.

  • Day 7 Day 7: Drive From Pokhara To Kathmandu (1,350M) 6-7 Hours.

      Today we drive back to Kathmandu, either by bus or private vehicle depending on the size of the group. Upon arrival at Kathmandu you will be taken to your hotel situated close to the main tourist hub โ€“ Thamel. You may choose to wander around Thamel to do some last minute shopping or explore Kathmandu Valley with its many temples.
