Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival

Pass By: Mandalay Hill, Mandalay Myanmar
Upon arrivalย at Mandalay airport, your guide will meet you and transfer to your hotel in Mandalay.

Day 2: Mandalay-Amarapura

Stop At: Mandalay Hill, Mandalay Myanmar
After having breakfast at your hotel, start to explore Mandalay which is the last capital of Myanmar King and Amarapura famous for its Taungthaman Lake and also known as a weaving town. Firstly you will visit Mahamuni pagoda to observe the Buddhist culture of Myanmar people and drive to Amarapura to visit Mahagandaryone monastery which is thousands of monks are living and studying. You need to arrive at Mahagandaryone monastery before 11 am to see the discipline of monks are having lunch. Then back to Mandalay and visit Mandalay hill where you can observe over the town, Mandalay Palace, Kuthodaw pagoda which is also known as the world biggest book, King Galon Gold leaf making workshop and Shwenandaw monastery. Today you will spend by taking a boat in Taungthaman lake and walking along the U Bein wooden bridge in your sunet time. Then transfer back to your lodging hotel in Mandalay.

Day 3: Ava-Sagaing

Stop At: Mandalay Hill, Mandalay Myanmar
Firstly you will be transfered to Ava jetty by private vehicle and take a boat to Ava across Myit Nge river about 10 minutes. Then visit to Bagaya monastery, Mae Nu Oak Kyaung and Nan Myint watch tower by horse cart and back to jetty. After crossing the river by boat, continue to Sagaing by car which is also known as a meditation center and observe Umin Thonze pagoda, Soon U Ponya Shin, local monastery and Kaung Hmu Daw Pagoda. In the afternoon, transfer to Jade pagoda and back to Mandalay.ย

Day 4: Mandalay-Monywa-Bagan

Stop At: Bodhi Tataung, Route de Mandalay, Monywa Myanmar
After having early breakfast, drive to Monywa about three hour which is famous for its unusual Buddha images and firstly you will be visit to Boddhi Tahtaung and Laykyun Setkyar Buddha images at the entrance of Monywa. Then proceed to Monyin Than Boddhe Pagoda which is unusual Buddha temple and one of the picturesque place in Monywa. Then head to Kyaukka village to observe the famous Shweguni Pagoda and find the regional products near the pagoda. Then continue to Bagan and transfer to your lodging hotel situated in Bagan.

Day 5: Bagan

Stop At: Bagan Temples, Bagan Archaeological Zone, Bagan Myanmar
After having breakfast at hotel, your car is waiting you to bring to the ancient pagodas in Nyaung Oo and old Bagan such as Shwezigon, Kyaukku Umin, Htilominlo, Ananda, Thatbyinnyu, Kadawpalin and transfer to the restaurant for your lunch. Then head to your hotel for check in and take some rest at your hotel to avoid the hot weather. In the afternoon, continue to the ancient temples around old Bagan such as Dhamayangyi, Alodawpyae, Bu Pagoda and Shwesandaw Pagoda. After having sunset at one of the pagodas, back to your hotel.

Day 6: Bagan

Stop At: Bagan Temples, Bagan Archaeological Zone, Bagan Myanmar
After having breakfast at your hotel, visit Nyaung Oo bustling local market to find ways of life. Then visit 11th to 13th century ancient temples in Myinkaba area, Pwasaw village, lacquerware workshop and drive to restaurant. After having lunch, visit to black bean paste (called Pone Yay Gyi in Myanmar language) workshop and palm sugar workshop to learn how to make and produce from palm tree. In the afternoon, your guide will bring you to the photogenic places where you can take the best photos and waste your time at one of the best pagodas to watch sunset.

Day 7: Bagan-Yangon

Stop At: Shwedagon Pagoda, Yangon (Rangoon) Myanmar
Your guide will lead you to the airport by coach. From Nyaung Oo, flight to Yangon and your coach will bring your to the central Yangon to observe the Mahabandula garden with independence monument, city hall, supreme court, and Immanuel Baptist church. Then transfer to the restaurant for lunch and visit to Post Office. After observing locals are bustling in Post Office, visit Minister Office where General Aung San was assassinated. Then head to Chauk Htat Gyi reclining Pagoda and bring you to the Shwedagon Pagoda in the afternoon. Your sunset will be at Shwedagon pagoda. Then, your guide will transfer to your hotel and overnight in Yangon.

Day 8: Departure
