7 Days Cebu Bohol Motorcycle Tour Philippines

Itinerary

Day 1: Monday: Pescador Island Hopping & snorkeling with sea turtles

Stop At: Pescador Island, Tanon Strait, Moalboal Philippines
At 9:00 a.m. we will pick you up from your hotel in Cebu and give you a scooter or open the door to your van, and then it starts.

We drive around 100 km on winding uphill and downhill roads, following the coast to Pescador. The scooters deliver a top speed of 120 km/h, which we cannot exceed. We will pass Jeepneys, tricycles and the Filipino mopeds, which often have 3 or 4 people on them. You always set your own pace. Our tour guide will accommodate you.

We should arrive in Pescador at around 12 p.m. and cross over to the island in a small boat. We can then spend time marveling at the colorful reefs and abundance of fish in the Philippines while snorkeling. You will see swarms of sardines and large sea turtles right under the water surface and almost touch them. All with tropical warm and comfortable water temperatures.

Maybe 3 hours later, around 3 p.m., we will try to be back from our island trip and drive the rest of the way to Oslob. If we decide to spend a lot of time in Pescador, we might end up driving the last kilometers at night, because it gets dark in Cebu by 6 p.m. A long shirt or thin jacket is advisable when driving at night.

Our first hotel on the tour awaits us in Oslob. All rooms are air-conditioned and most rooms have a balcony.

We do not use 5-star luxury hotels on our tour, but rather the type of hotels that locals might also spend their holidays. On our trip, don't worry, you will always have an upscale double room with air conditioning and private bathroom.

Day 2: Tuesday: Swimming with Whale Sharks & canyoneering Kawasan Falls

Stop At: Whale Shark & Waterfalls Philipines, Oslob, Cebu, Philippines
We have to get up early because Oslob is home to whale sharks that can only be visited in the morning.

You have breakfast in a small restaurant near to the beach of the Whale Sharks while our tour guide get in line for the tickets. You will swim with the sharks and be so close to them that you could almost touch them. Whale sharks filter the plankton from the sea with their large mouths, so don't worry, you are not on their menu. If you have a waterproof camera, you can take spectacular photos under water here. Click on the button "Photos" on the left for example underwater pictures.

By 11:00 a.m. at the latest, the whale sharks will disappear deep into the sea and we will walk about 50 meters back to our hotel.

Stop At: Kawasan Falls, Matutinao, Badian 6031 Philippines
After lunch we return to the vehicles and drive to the very beautiful Kawasan Falls. There you can relax and swim. If you want to and are brave enough, canyoneering and cliff jumping awaits you.

With canyoneering you can either jump from 8 or 12 meter or 14 meter high cliffs, slide into the deep water with the water slide or have fun with the monkey swing. You can try everything several times or just watch the others. We usually spend about 3 hours at the falls. The last stop for the day is a hotel in Cebu City with an estimated driving time of about 2 hours.

Our hotel in Cebu City has a pool and is located in the region where the nightlife is active and exciting. This hotel will be our base for the next two nights.

Day 3: Wednesday: Cebu City Tour with Temple of Leah & Taoist Temple

Stop At: Taoist Temple, Beverly Hills, Cebu City 6000 Philippines
We have planned this day without motorcycles because access to the two temples we will visit are only permitted by car. We will provide an air-conditioned car for this trip. The Taoist Temple and the Temple of Leah are both located on a mountain and have great views. After the temples we will go to the Sirao Garden, where you can meet some interesting people. The Sirao Gardens try to reflect Holland with its windmills and has an interesting design. This is how Asians view and understand Holland.

In the evening we go back to the hotel from which we started in the morning. If you want we can explore the city after dinner. In the city you will find countless bars, massage parlors and you can sing karaoke. The distances are so short that you can use a tricycle or a jeepney, or just walk. If you tell our tour guide what you want to experience, he will be happy to take you there.

Day 4: Thursday: Ferry trip to Bohol and Alona Beach

Stop At: Bohol Island, Bohol Island, Bohol Province, Visayas
We leave at 9 a.m. from Cebu. The port with the ferry to Bohol is not far away so we will take a car again. You now need your ferry ticket, which we will have sent to you in advance - a screenshot on your mobile phone is enough to board.

The fast ferry takes just under two hours to get to Bohol. The interior is air-conditioned. When we arrive in Bohol, we charter a couple of tricycles and drive to downtown Tagbilaran. Here we pick up our new scooters.

The scooters are a bit smaller (only 125 cc), but the day's driving distances are also a little shorter than in Cebu. With the new scooters we'll go to the hotel: a small and very nice hotel right on the beach. Once there, we can take a break and spend the afternoon on the beach or rest under palm trees. Also famous beaches like the Alona Beach and the Virgin Beach are near.

Alternatively, you can drive your scooter back to the city center (approx. 15 minutes). Here you will find a large mall, McDonalds, bars, .....

Day 5: Friday: Standup paddle board & boat trip in Loboc (Bohol)

Stop At: Loboc River, Philippines
The final destination for the day is Danao, the heart of Bohol, so we can spend the next day, Saturday, at the amazing Adventure Park in Danao. Along the way will be fantastic scenery and two fun stopovers.

For the morning will have curvy road and unique hilly landscapes, called the Chocolate Hills. Enjoy the beautiful scenery before we get to our first stop: Loboc River.

At Loboc River we will take a one-hour boat trip which features a really good buffet. Enjoy the scenery of the river trip with delicious food and entertainment on the boat. The boat will have one stop where Filipinos right next to where the boat docks will perform a traditional dance called Tinikling. This dance features a pair of bamboo poles where timing is very important! You are invited to give it a try if you are adventurous enough?

Our second stop is not far, where you get to try standup paddle-boarding on the Loboc River. Stand up paddle-boarding is easier than it looks. However, if you want to paddle for more than two hours, we will need to drive the last kilometers to Danao at night.

Day 6: Saturday: Danao Adventure Park & Chocolate Hills (Bohol)

Stop At: Danao Adventure Park, 6344 Philippines
We start the day by entering the Danao Adventure Park where you can get your tickets for the Great Plunge or the Glass Cliff Walk if you are adventurous enough? You have no extra costs in the Adventure Park. Our stay in the park typically lasts about 2-3 hours.

After the adventure park we will travel a short distance to do ATV or Quad motorbiking. You can stay with the tour guide and not get muddy, but since they provide you with thin plastic pants and a jacket, you could be adventurous and when they let you, you can hit all the mud puddles and jumps and really get muddy if you want!

After quad motorbiking, we'll get back on our scooters and quickly climb up to the scenic overlook to gaze out over the Chocolate Hills. The number of stairs you will need to climb to get to the overlook are a lot! Be prepared.

Our last stop for the day is Bike Ziplining. Before getting to this ride, you'll need to cross a couple of suspension bridges and climb lots of stairs to get to the top. Here you get on a bike secured by two cables and cross 50 meters above a canyon. Don't worry, everything is secured, you only need courage. The bike stays balanced by itself.

This day is a very busy day with the adventure park, quad motorbiking, the Chocolate Hills overlook, and bike ziplining. We will likely be driving the last part of the trip to Taglibaran in the dark. At Taglibaran we will need to return our scooters, get something to eat, and get a tricycles to take us to our hotel.

Day 7: Sunday: Alona Beach or Virgin Beach (Bohol)

The last day is mostly a day to reflect on all the amazing things you did during the week, and share the memories and high-points with your friends. You snorkeled on colorful reefs with sea turtles, swam with whale sharks, hiked waterfalls and maybe even jumped off cliffs. You saw the temples in Cebu and hopefully had interesting conversations with locals along the way. You showed your talent at stand up paddleboarding, you were brave in the adventure park, and around 620 kilometers of curvy fun road are now behind you. Have you shared your favorite pictures and told your stories to your friends online? Take time to connect with the people you love, both with you and back home.

You'll have time to go again to a beach near the hotel or travel to Alona Beach. After this we will pack our things, because in the evening we take the ferry back to Cebu and we will drop you off at your hotel, where the tour officially ends.

Alternatively, you can have a second option: If you want, we will refund the ferry price to Cebu (€ 13 per person) and you can stay in Bohol for a few more days. Please book your hotel independently in advance. You can extend the rent of your scooter and pay it directly to the tour guide. Please let us know beforehand, so we can bring your large suitcase to Bohol for you, and you will have all your things together at this point.
