Built to celebrate the French Revolutionโ€™s centennial year during the Exposition Universelle at the Champ de Mars and to showcase the power and industrial abilities of France!

Visiting the Louvre Museum is certainly an experience you should not miss while in Paris. This is one of the biggest museums in the world and as I'm sure you already know, houses world-famous paintings such as the Mona Lisa.
