Römerberg is a public space in Frankfurt, Germany. It is located in front of the Römer building complex, the seat of the Frankfurt city administration since the 15th century. As the site of numerous Imperial coronations, trade fairs and Christmas markets, the square is the historic heart of the medieval Altstadt and today a popular tourist destination

Main Tower is a 56-storey, 200 m skyscraper in the Innenstadt district of Frankfurt, Germany. It is named after the nearby Main river. The building is 240 m when its antenna spire is included. The tower has five underground floors and two public viewing platforms. It is the only skyscraper in Frankfurt with a public viewing observatory.

Day 2: Frankfurt, Germany

Stop At: Senckenberg Natural History Museum (Naturmuseum Senckenberg), Senckenberganlage 25, 60325 Frankfurt, Hesse Germany
The Naturmuseum Senckenberg is a museum of natural history, located in Frankfurt am Main. It is the second-largest of its type in Germany. One notable exhibit is a dinosaur fossil with unique, preserved scaled skin.

Day 3: Freiburg, Germany

Stop At: Martinstor, Martinsgassle, Freiburg im Breisgau, Baden-Wurttemberg Germany
The Martinstor, a former town fortification on Kaiser-Joseph-Straße, is the older of the two gates of Freiburg im Breisgau that have been preserved since medieval times. Both gates, the Martinstor and the Schwabentor, are located in the city centre. In medieval times the Martinstor was also known as Norsinger Tor.

Day 5: Nuremberg, Germany

Day 6: Rothenburg, Germany

Day 7: Frankfurt, Germany

Grouped together on both sides of the River Main is a cluster of 12 museums in an area known as the Museumsufer (Museum Embankment). Most are on the left bank (south side). There are museums for film, art, architecture, communication and ethnography, to name a handful, and we’ll deal with many of them in more detail later.

Cool, laid-back Sachsenhausen is known for Museumsufer, a row of riverside museums exploring fine art, architecture, film and Jewish history. The area is also home to boisterous apple-wine pubs in its quaint, cobbled Altstadt, or old town, plus a mix of late-night bars, clubs and German restaurants. Cyclists, rollerbladers and joggers zip down the path along the Main River.
