7-day Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha And Amboseli Safari From Nairobi

Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya
At 8 o'clock you will be picked up from your hotel/airport and commence the drive to  Mara via the great rift valley view point where you will have a breathtaking view of the floor of the rift valley. Lunch will be picnic on the way. In the afternoon after you check in depart for a game viewing drive in the Mara Reserve. Return back to the camp for dinner at Lenchada Tourist Camp.

Stop At: Rift Valley Province, Rift Valley Province
You will have a stop over at the great rift valley view point on the way to maasai mara.

Originally named the ‘Great Rift Valley’ by British Explorer John Walter Gregory, the Rift Valley is a geographic stretch extending 6000km across the Middle East and Africa from Jordan to Mozambique. The valley encapsulates tremendous changes in topographic diversity with its scarps and volcanoes, lakes, ancient granitic hills, flat desert landscapes and coral reefs and islets. The astounding view, as you approach from Nairobi, Kenya is quite unbelievable. To show you just how expansive the rift is, the ground unexpectedly disappears from under you, extending thousands of kilometers in either direction. An excellent starter to the Kenyan Rift Valley, it may appear, the most amazing part of this experience is sinking deeper to explore the Lake System of the Rift

Day 2: Full Day in Masai Mara.

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Narok 00100 Kenya
Spend the full day exploring  Mara in search of the Big Five. You will have picnic lunches in the Reserve as you scale the Mara .

Optional: In the evening, Visit the  Maasai village for a Maasai cultural tour at USD 20. Learn about the Masai community and interact with the local Maasai people. A overnight at the Masai village can be organized upon request.

A balloon safari at USD380 per person can be organized early morning on this day then proceed with the normal program. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place: the great migration.

Stop At: Mara River, Maasai Mara National Reserve 00200 Kenya
This is the site where the migration of the animals takes place where big heards of wilderbeest cross the mara river.
Duration: 8 hours

Day 3: Depart Maasai Mara to Nakuru

Stop At: Lake Nakuru National Park Kenya
You will enjoy the last early morning game drive in Mara Reserve followed by breakfast. Thereafter commence the drive to Nakuru.

Pass By: Lake Naivasha, Naivasha Road Nakuru County Kenya
This is a lake that will be on your way to Nakuru.

Day 4: Nakuru to Naivasha

Stop At: Lake Naivasha, Naivasha Kenya
You will have an early breakfast and depart by 7am to straight to the park. Its a small park with magnificent, rare white rhinos which form part of the Big five animals. There is also a possibility to see the pink flamingos . The game drive lasts 3 hours, after which you depart on a 1-hour drive to Naivasha to arrive in time for lunch at hotel.

After lunch, you will go to hell's gate for biking safari. if you are too tired you will be driven in the park with a car.

You will later go for an optional one hour boat ride on Lake Naivasha for bird watching and hippo viewing.

You will be dropped at Taphe hotel for overnight stay.

Stop At: Hell's Gate National Park, Lake Road South South of Lake Naivasha, Naivasha 20117 Kenya
Here is the only place in kenya where you can have a biking safari in the park. you also have the option of using the car. while here you will see the pride rock where the theme of the lion king movie was derived.

Day 5: Naivasha - Amboseli

Stop At: Amboseli National Park, Entonet, Loitoktok District, Rift Valley, Kenya
Pick up from the hotel in the morning drive to Amboseli national park which is famous for its scenery with a backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, which dominates the landscape, and open plains. Arrive with more game drive proceeding to your lodge for check in, time for lunch , Check in at AA Lodge Amboseli have lunch and a short rest. Afternoon game drive in search of its popular residents like the well known predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Hippo with a view of Mt Kilimanjaro. Later Dinner and overnight at AA Lodge Amboseli

Day 6: Amboseli Full day

Stop At: Amboseli National Park, Entonet, Loitoktok District, Rift Valley, Kenya
Early morning game drive later return back to lodge for breakfast. After breakfast Full day spend in the park with packed lunch in search of its popular residents like the well known predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Hippo with a view of Mt Kilimanjaro .Later return to AA Lodge Amboseli for dinner and overnight stay

This is the general amboseli area
Duration: 8 hours

Stop At: Observation Hill, SE Side of Amboseli National Park, Amboseli National Park Kenya
Watch elephants bathe in a swamp from the summit of Observation Hill, a pyramid-shaped volcanic hill rising over the predominantly flat Amboseli National Park. Admire a view of the plains and swamps against the backdrop of Kilimanjaro. One of the best places to see elephants, the observation point draws lots of tourists, both local and international. In addition to large mammals gathering here to drink, you can also see flocks of pink flamingos. Bring binoculars and a powerful lens for good pictures

Day 7: Amboseli - Nairobi

Stop At: Amboseli Eco-system, Amboseli Eco-system, Rift Valley Province
Optional Early morning game drive later return to your lodge for Breakfast. After breakfast check out with a short game drive en-route off Amboseli and drive to Nairobi. When you arrive you will be dropped to your hotel or the Airport.

This marks the end of the tour.
