Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Jinja

Stop At: Mabira, Mabira, Eastern Region
Enjoy the drive with views of the beautiful sunrise and the busy trading towns along the way.

40km along the way, you will have a stopover in the thick topical rain forest of Mabira, the cool and conducive temperature, calls from the singing birds and the swaying trees with monkeys in their canopies will hold your breath.

There are two alternative activities that you can choose from to enjoy your jungle time; bird watching is one of the best activities in this forets, enjoying many of the forest birds. A walk in the jungle also awards you with several primate; vavet monkeys, golden monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys and the red tailed monkeys. The various hard wood trees and herbs in the forests will take you time to marvel

Experiencing the Mabira Forest canopy just makes you behave like monkeys! The first of its kind in Uganda. The Mabira Forest Canopy Super Skyway is a canopy "zip-line" system that sends you soaring between the tallest trees in the rainforest. Its here that youโ€™re high in the tree canopies and able to view the forest at different angles as you sail up in the air

Day 2: Source Of River Nile and Rafting

Stop At: Source of the Nile Museum, Plot 14-20 Amberley Street, Jinja Uganda
After a morning breakfast, head to the jetty for a boat ride to the spot where the Worldโ€™s longest river Nile commences its long way to the Mediterranean sea as it flows northwards. , you would have seen the source of the longest river on planet earth and also the largest flesh water lake in Africa lake Victoria. Gift shops at the source of the Nile are one of the best places with good looking art pieces of the Ugandan cultures.
After lunch, you will be ready to enjoy the magical white water rafting. White water rafting is high on many peopleโ€™s list of things to do here. With some lots of good rapids and a stunning river with high level its superlative. There are some very exhilarating sections with space between to lay back and float along taking in the landscape and enjoying the nature, particularly the many species of birds to be found here
Thereafter, return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay

Day 3: Transfer to Murchison Falls National park

Stop At: Murchison Falls National Park, Murchison Falls National Park, Western Region
After an early morning breakfast, you will set off from jinja to the Murchison fall national park in the north western Uganda. With stopovers en-route, you shall take this long day drive via Masindi and we will make it into the park in the evening hour

This park also stirs oneโ€™s love for adventure as it also provides an excellent safari experience of the Murchison falls themselves which are a spectaculure sight where the mighty river nile squeezes itself through a narrow gorge of 6 meters wide making a thunderous roar and impressive water rapids that one will never forget on a safari in Uganda.

Day 4: Game drive and Boat launch

Stop At: Murchison Falls National Park, Murchison Falls National Park, Western Region
As early as 6 am, we will leave the lodge for a morning game drive. We always aim at the big game viewing as most of the animals are always active in the morning hours, this may also yield a chance of spotting the some nocturnal animals like the lions, leopards, hyenas and hippopotamus
Later we return to the lodge for breakfast, refreshment and lunch in at 12:30pm

Drive to the jetty for a boat to the bottom of the Murchison falls. On your way, you will encounter schools of hippos diving in the water, herds of elephants and tower of giraffes that come to quench their thirst at the river banks and the crocodile which are the Nile predators. Brightly colored water birds like the kingfisher, red throated bee eaters, African fish eagle, African darter, long tailed and white breasted cormorant, paleโ€™s fishing owl, great white egrets, herons, African jacana, black crake to mention but a few will overwhelm your birding experience

A hike from the bottom to the top of the falls is such a memorable experience as a you walk along the Nile river in a cool green environment of singing bird mixed with the sound from the falls. At the top, the fall will catch your eyes as the Nile waters hit the rocks and bounce high to form a nature shower that cools you from the hike, a photo is inevitable!

At the top, your guide will be waiting to take you back to the lodge on a relaxed drive. On our way, you can decide to have an evening game drive or to drive direct to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Murchison Falls National Park - Kampala

Stop At: Kampala, Kampala, Central Region
Early in the morning, you will have a short game drive which is always rewarding with several Savannah encounters as you enjoy the landscape as you drive to check out of the park.
Lunch at Kabalega dinner, you will later continue with your journey back to Kampala with stopovers en-route
On arrival in the evening, you will be transferred to the hotel for a relaxation as you wait for your flight back home
