Itinerary

Day 1: Zhangjiajie Arrival

Pass By: Zhangjiajie, Zhangjiajie, Hunan
Welcome to Zhangjiajie! Upon arrival, be greeted by our tour guide in the airport or train station who is holding a sign on which says your name. A comfortable vehicle (non-smoking) with experienced driver will transfer you directly to your hotel in the Zhangjiajie downtown area. Your guide will help you check in. The rest of today is on your own to explore this beautiful city.

Day 2: Zhangjiajie Park:Ten miles Gallery-Tianzi Mountain-Generals Platform-Shentang Bay Platform-Tianzi Cable Car (B, L)

Stop At: Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Wulingyuan District, Zhangjiajie 427000 China
After the breakfast,get in the National park, you will start your Hiking form Ten-miles Gallery, 6000 steps up to the Tianzi Mountain, on the way, you will see mountains from bottom,middle,and top.When you reached the top of Tianzi Mountain, you can have a stunning view of the peaks rising one after another. Atop of the mountain offers a full extent of the whole scenic area, which is magnificent and spectacular. There are four wonders in Tianzi
Mountain: the Sea of Clouds, the Radiance of the Moonlight, Rays of Sunshine and the Snow in winter.

There is a MacDonald on the top, you can eat or have a cup of coffee there, then keep walking to the Generals Platform where you can see the panorama of Tianzi mountain in different angle. the last platform you are going to see is Shentang Bay, where you can see a great view with close peaks.
In the end, take the Tianzi mountain cable way down the mountain, and get back to hotel.

Day 3: Bailong elevator-Yangjiajie Area-Yuanjiajie Area-Golden Whip Brook Hiking (B, L)

Stop At: Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Wulingyuan District, Zhangjiajie 427000 China
In the morning get in the National Park again, Take the Bailong Elevator up to the Yuanjiajie Area, firstly take the bus to Yangjiajie Area, 2 hours hiking in Yangjiajie Area, on the way ,you will climb up by using hands and feet, then pass through a narrow gap between the huge rock, then reach the Wulong Village,a small house ever lived by the bandits, there is a big platform called Tianbo Mansion, the best place to see the peak wall. Then keep going in another direction to see the One-step to the Heaven, It is actually a mountain peak 1,130 meters (1,230 yards) above sea level. There are 32 iron stairs leading to the mountaintop. The top is flat, with 5 meters (5 yards) long and 4 meters wide, and is enclosed with iron railings，there you can put yourself in the mountain peaks.

In the afternoon, go and see the Yuanjiajie Area, the No1 Natural Bridge In The World, Floating Mountains in the movie Avatar, From the Spot Backyard Garden, get down the mountain by 1.5hours walking, you will arrive the Golden Whip Brook ,it is famous for its pristine water, its verdant mountains, its steep cliffs and its serene valley. As a veritable "paradise" for plants, its pathways are adorned by an abundance of flowers, trees, and grasses. Walk about 50 minutes along the brook, you will arrive the Shuiraosimen Parking lot, then take the bus get out of the park and back to the hotel.
Evening Activity: Take a stroll at Xibu Street, located at Wulingyuan Center, it combines the bars, tea houses, souvenir shops, local snacks and so on. You can relax and enjoy by walking on the streets.

Day 4: Zhangjiajie National Forest Park-Yellow Stone Village & Baofeng Temple Hiking (B,L)

Stop At: Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Wulingyuan District, Zhangjiajie 427000 China
On this day, you’ll visit the most beautiful scenic spots in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. First, you’ll hiking 2 to the top of Huangshi Village(Yellow Stone Village) which is 1080m above the sea level. It is the biggest sightseeing platform to view the spectacular scenery in the national park. A saying goes “He who does not reach Huangshi Village does not pay a true visit to Zhangjiajie.”
In the afternoon keep exploring the Baofeng Mountain and Baofeng Temple.Baofeng Temple located at Baofeng Mountain at an attitude of 1,260 meters.It is recorded that

Baofeng Temple was founded in the Tang and Song Dynasties, During the Ming and Qing dynasties, especially during the Kangxi and Qianlong emperor reigns of the Qing Dynasty, incense was extremely prosperous, and pilgrims
from around Hunan, Hubei, Sichuan, and Guizhou provinces came to pay homage to this pilgrimage. now it is an important historical and cultural relic in Zhangjiajie, though it is not opened to the tourists, it is popular in the locals, you can hike up to the top to appreciate spectacular panorama view of the mountains and villages.

Day 5: Tianmen Mountain National Park & Zhangjiajie Departure (B, L)

Stop At: Tianmen Mountain, Yongding District, Zhangjiajie, China
After breakfast, your guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel. On this day, you’ll first take a trip to Tianmen Mountain. Referred to as the “Soul of culture and spirit of Zhangjiajie”, Tianmen Mountain, standing 1,500 meters above sea level, boasts miraculous and unique geographic landform, unparalleled natural landscape, profound cultural connotations.
Experience the longest cableway in Asia with a length of 7200 meters, take photos of Avenue toward Heaven with 99 turns from cable car. On the top of Tianmen Mountain, enjoy the Cliff-Hanging Walkway and avoid the crowds to take

some photos; hold your breath and experience the thrilling Glass Sky Walk. Then, visit the natural mountain-penetrating Karst cave - Tianmen Cave. The foot of the cave is wonderful photo opportunity with the hole in the mountain as the background. It is worth waiting for the sunlight to shine through the hole with mist or smoke illuminating the way.
After the tour, your guide and driver will escort you the airport or railway station to catch the train to your next destination. Service ends!
