Itinerary

Day 1: Zhangjiajie Arrival

Pass By: Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Wulingyuan District, Zhangjiajie 427000 China
Welcome to Zhangjiajie! Upon arrival, be greeted by our tour guide in the airport or train station who is holding a sign on which says your name. A comfortable vehicle (non-smoking) with experienced driver will transfer you directly to your hotel in the Zhangjiajie downtown area. Your guide will help you check in. The rest of today is on your own to explore this beautiful city.

Day 2: Zhangjiajie Forest Park:Tianzi Mountain-Generals Platform-Shentang Bay Platform-Sky Rice Field -Tianzi Cable Car (B, L)

Stop At: Tianzi Mountain, Wulingyuan District, Zhangjiajie 427400 China
After the breakfast,get in the National park, you will start your Hiking form Ten-miles Gallery, 6000 steps up to the Tianzi Mountain, on the way, you will see mountains from bottom,middle,and top.When you reached the top of Tianzi Mountain, you can have a stunning view of the peaks rising one after another. Atop of the mountain offers a full extent of the whole scenic area, which is magnificent and spectacular. There are four wonders in Tianzi
Mountain: the Sea of Clouds, the Radiance of the Moonlight, Rays of Sunshine and the Snow in winter.
There is a MacDonald on the top, you can eat or have a cup of coffee there, then keep walking to the Generals Platform where you can see the panorama of Tianzi mountain in different angle. the last platform you are going to see is Shentang Bay, where you can see a great view with close peaks.Then keep going to visit the Sky Rice field where you can see another stunning view with the mountains.
In the end, take the Tianzi mountain cable way down the mountain, and get back to hotel.

Day 3: Zhangjiajie National Forest Park:Bailing Elevator-Yangjiajie Area-Yuanjiajie Area-Golden Whip Brook Hiking (B, L)

Stop At: Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Wulingyuan District, Zhangjiajie 427000 China
In the morning get in the National Park again, Take the Bailong Elevator up to the Yuanjiajie Area, firstly take the bus to Yangjiajie Area, 2 hours hiking in Yangjiajie Area, on the way ,you will climb up by using hands and feet, then pass through a narrow gap between the huge rock, then reach the Wulong Village,a small house ever lived by the bandits, there is a big platform called Tianbo Mansion, the best place to see the peak wall. Then keep going in another direction to see the One-step to the Heaven, It is actually a mountain peak 1,130 meters (1,230 yards) above sea level. There are 32 iron stairs leading to the mountaintop. The top is flat, with 5 meters (5 yards) long and 4 meters wide, and is enclosed with iron railings，there you can put yourself in the mountain peaks.

In the afternoon, go and see the Yuanjiajie Area, the No1 Natural Bridge In The World, Floating Mountains in the movie Avatar, From the Spot Backyard Garden, get down the mountain by 1.5hours walking, you will arrive the Golden Whip Brook ,it is famous for its pristine water, its verdant mountains, its steep cliffs and its serene valley. As a veritable "paradise" for plants, its pathways are adorned by an abundance of flowers, trees, and grasses. Walk about 50 minutes along the brook, you will arrive the Shuiraosimen Parking lot, then take the bus get out of the park and back to the hotel.
Evening Activity: Take a stroll at Xibu Street, located at Wulingyuan Center, it combines the bars, tea houses, souvenir shops, local snacks and so on. You can relax and enjoy by walking on the streets.
Travel Tips:
Because Yangjiajie is not developed completely, you will find it difficult to walk on some roads. Tourists with a relatively weak strength should better end the tour in Oolong Village, as the road forward is rather steep.

Day 4: Zhangjiajie National Forest Park:Yaozizhai Area-Golden Whip Stream Area (B,L)

Stop At: Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Wulingyuan District, Zhangjiajie 427000 China
On this day, you’ll visit the beautiful Yaozhizhai Area in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. First, you’ll hiking 2 hours to the top of Yaozhizhai(Eagle's Village) which is 1090m above the sea level. This area is not opened to public now but is a pefect place for hiking.You can see the panorama view on the top on mountain and enjoy the best mountain view on the top.
Walk down the mountain is the Golden Whip Stream, strolling along the stream across the canyon, breathe the fresh air, it was really a nice expierence!

Day 5: Zhangjiajie National Forest Park:Yellow Stone Village Area (B,L)

Stop At: Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Wulingyuan District, Zhangjiajie 427000 China
On this day, you’ll visit the most beautiful scenic spots in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. First, you’ll hiking 2 to the top of Huangshi Village(Yellow Stone Village) which is 1080m above the sea level. It is the biggest sightseeing platform to view the spectacular scenery in the national park. A saying goes “He who does not reach Huangshi Village does not pay a true visit to Zhangjiajie.”
After the tour, your guide and driver will escort you the airport or railway station to catch the train to your next destination. Service ends!
