Itinerary

Day 1: Day 1: Depart Entebbe/Kampala – Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Stop At: Queen Elizabeth National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Western Region
After an early breakfast, you will be picked by one of our representatives from Ssemambo Alex Tours & Travel who will brief you about this 5 days Gorilla & Wildlife Adventure Safari and there after you will set off for Queen Elizabeth National Park. This 4-5 hour drive will take you through Uganda’s beautiful countryside with scenic views of tea plantations, rolling hills and arriving in Queen Elizabeth National Park in time for lunch. You will check in your lodge and later in the afternoon, you will have a game drive in the savannah and thereafter return to your lodge for Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2:  Day 2: Morning Game Drive – Afternoon Launch Cruise

Stop At: Queen Elizabeth National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Western Region
After your early morning breakfast, you will go for an early morning game drive to catch the early risers in the Kasenyi Sector of the park. When here, expect to see different animals like the elephants, Lions, buffaloes, waterbucks, Uganda Kobs and much more. Later you will return to your lodge for lunch and in the afternoon head out for a 2-3 hours launch cruise along the Kazinga channel where you will see large concentrations of wildlife along the banks of the river like buffalos, hippos, elephants,  number of different bird species like the herons, kingfishers, African skimmers and many more. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 3:  Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

Stop At: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Western Region
You will have your early morning breakfast, then depart for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, home to the endangered mountain gorillas. The Park comprises of over 459 mountain gorillas, with 15 habituated gorilla groups. The journey will go through the Ishasha sector which is famous for Tree-Climbing lions. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 4: Day 4: Gorilla Trekking - Batwa Experience

Stop At: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Western Region
After an early morning breakfast, you will be driven to the park headquarters where you will be briefed by the park rangers about dos and don’ts while trekking in the park, here you will also be divided in a group of 8 individuals and after you will start off your gorilla trekking guided by the park rangers. The time taken and the terrain vary with the movements of these great primates and once you have located a gorilla group, you will be allowed an hour in their presence, taking photographs and sighting seeing and this is the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth.

Day 5: Day 5: Departure Entebbe/Kampala

Stop At: Kampala, Kampala, Central Region
After breakfast, you will transfer back to Kampala/Entebbe with en route stopover in Mbarara town for Lunch and the Equator for refreshments and photography.
