Day 1: Sofia – Stob’s pyramids-Rila monastery

Stop At: Sofia, Sofia, Sofia Region
Meeting at your accommodation or Sofia airport. Welcome to Sofia – one of the oldest cities in Bulgaria and its capital. Walking tour to taste the spirit of the city with its thermal springs and churches. Lunch in one of the traditional restaurants and free time.
Duration: 4 hours

Stop At: Stob, Stob, Kyustendil Province
We'll see the sandstone phenomenon, made by the artist, called Nature. Walking in the area – 1 hour.
Duration: 1 hour

Pass By: Rila Mountains, Rila Bulgaria
Rila mountain is the highest mountain not only in Bulgaria but in the Balkan peninsula.

Day 2: Rila monastery- Rozhen monastery-Melnik-Sandanski

Stop At: Rila Monastery, Rila 2643 Bulgaria
Sightseeing of Rila monastery – the biggest one in Bulgaria, situated in the heart of Rila mountain. Walking tour and visiting the cave of St. Ivan from Rila.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Rozhen Monastery, Rozhen, Melnik 2820 Bulgaria
Sightseeing of Rozhen monastery – the biggest one in the area of Pirin mountain. It’s surrounded by Sandy pyramids. Optional – walking in one of the eco trails to see the beautiful sceneries.

Stop At: Melnik, Melnik, Blagoevgrad Province
The town of Melnik is the smallest one in Bulgaria with Revival architecture from the XVIII-XIX century, famous with the cellars with one of the best wines in the country. Optional – eco-trail to the plateau to see the fortress and the archbishop’s church from the Middle Ages. Walking tour of Melnik and visiting the Kordopulova house and the museum of wine.

Stop At: Sandanski, Sandanski, Blagoevgrad Province
An ancient city and spa resort. Accommodation in one of the spa hotels in the city. Dinner in the hotel.

Day 3: Sandanski-Bansko- Bunderishka hut-Banya-Gorno Dragliste-Banya

Stop At: Pirin National Park, Pirin Bulgaria
Visit the oldest pine tree in Bulgaria, which was a witness of its foundation. Short walking in the area of Vihren hut and enjoy the views of Pirin mountain. Pirin mountain is a part of UNESCO for its rare species of trees and wildlife. We call it the mountain of beauty.

Stop At: Bansko, Bansko, Blagoevgrad Province
Bansko is the most famous ski resort in Bulgaria. Walking tour and free time.

Stop At: Banya, Banya, Blagoevgrad Province
A SPA village. Check-in a guest house.

Transfer for a traditional dinner in the village Gorno Dragliste.

Day 5: Velingrad-Dorkovo- Tsepina fortress- Sofia

Stop At: Pliocene Park, Dorkovo Bulgaria
Visiting the Pliocene museum, where fossils of prehistoric animals have been found, including Mastodons.

Stop At: Tsepina, Rakitovo, 4641, Bulgaria
Tsepina fortress dated from XIIth. century. Visiting the fortress and walking in its quiet forest.
