Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Stop At: Queen Elizabeth National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Western Region
Day 1: Transfer from your residence or Airport to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
on this day you will be picked by katunguru Tour company's representative/Tour Guide from either airport or your place of residence and transfer you to Queen Elizabeth National Park via Masaka road. A stop over will be made at the Equator for pictures and snacks then proceed to mbarara where you will have your lunch in Isanyu hotel or buffalo resort after continue and pay a visit to Banyaruguru caves one of the most outstanding feature in western Uganda still continue your journey up to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Check in Kazinga channel lodge or IRUNGU Forest safari LODGE for your over overnight and supper.

Day 2: Game drive on Kasenyi plains Queen Elizabeth National Park

Stop At: Kasenyi, Uganda
Day 2: Game drive in Kasenyi plains,
Boat cruise and visit Katwe salt mining area.

On this day you will wake up early in the morning freshen up and start your early game drive in savanna plains of Kasenyi for a "BIG 4" experience that is lions, leopards, buffalos and elephants also warthogs, waterbucks and a quiet number of birds with a lot of amazing features will be seen like Mt. Rwenzori
At 11:00hrs you will have a Boat cruise along Kazinga channel shores that joins Lake George and Edward here you are expected to see the school of water horses known as hippos, crocodiles, water bucks, gangs of elephants and water bird divers like kingfisher, bee eaters, and so many others the cruise takes 2hours and can return to your LODGE
In the afternoon you will drive to katwe salt mining plant for a study about salt mining methods and formation then will stop at explosion crater lake munyanyange for beautiful lesser and greater flamingos seasonal birds then return to LODGE.

Day 3: Chimp trekking in kalinzu Forest and transfer to bwindi

Stop At: Kalinzu Central Forest Reserve, Bushenyi Uganda
Day 3: Chimpanzee trekking experience and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable National Park.

On this day you will wake up early in the morning prepare your selves and head to kalinzu Forest reserve the home of chimpanzees a great experience is earned on this trail other primates like Olive baboons, vervet ,blue tailed and white black colour monkeys will be encountered the time spent here is 3-4hrs and return to for lunch and check out.
In the afternoon we will drive to Bwindi impenetrable forest reserve the home to half of the world's mountain gorilla population. On the way expect to encounter the famous tree climbing lions along Ishasha southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Day 4: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Stop At: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Western Region
Day 4: Gorilla trekking experience

On this day morning you set off for gorilla trekking, hiking through the thick, verdant, rainforest to eventually come across the gorillas in their natural habitat, is an amazing and unforgettable experience. Actual walk/trek time can vary. These are wild animals after all. Bwindi Impenetrable habituates half of the world's total population of mountain gorillas which is unique and advised not to miss while on your trip in Uganda. If time permits there are a diverse range of activities which are unique to Bwindi.
In the afternoon can visit the massive Bwata presentation Experience or
Buhoma cultural experiences and return to your LODGE

Day 5: Depart for airport or your starting point

Stop At: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Western Region
Day 5: Transfer to the airport
On this day can have an optional experience the with community depending on your flight take off time after you will depart to the airport for your flight or to your starting point and if agreed upon can drop you to your next destination. That will mark the end of our trip. Thanks and book again
