You will take the shuttle bus at the airport and go to your hotel in San Pedro de Atacama.

Today you will have the chance to learn and enjoy one of the brightest nights you will ever see. The guide will pick you up at your hotel at 8 PM and you will have a short ride to the middle of nowhere where the tour will start.

We will observe different types of stars according to their age (blue, yellow, and red), doubles, and variables solar systems. Then we’ll go for nebulae (delivery rooms of stars) and cluster stars

At the end of the tour, we will observe nearby galaxies, clusters of billions of stars that have traveled together almost from the beginning of our universe.

Sandboarding At The Amazing Death Valley - Visit Baltinache Lagoon & Vallecito

The tour starts in the morning with a pick-up from your hotel at 7:00 am, take the northwest direction by the road that joins Calama with San Pedro. Once you arrive, you will be protected with all the necessary equipment and begin the practice in dunes around 40 meters, when you handle the techniques of control of the board, the most daring can descend a dune that surrounds the 200 meters of height.

In the evening you will head to the desert where Vallecito is located. Then a technical stop to walk around, take pictures, observe the salt cordillera with a wonderful 360-degree view, and see the magic bus where you will hear the story of this mystical place.

The third stop is 7 Hidden Lagoons of Baltinache, after an hour-long ride, we’ll arrive at our destination, where you’ll have the opportunity to see the magnificent view of this place and take pictures. These lagoons have high salt content in the water, so it is not possible to swim.
Day 3 Buggy Safari & Wildlife Photosafari

Buggy Safari & Wildlife Photosafari

We will pick you up at your hotel in San Pedro de Atacama to go to our base, from where we will begin the Salt Mountain Range buggy tour. This vehicle has a capacity for five people, plus the driver/guide, the one who will take us by the landscapes of the Atacama Desert and will explain us some things about the landscape. We will cross rivers, go up hills, and be able to go over sand dunes, so we can take good pictures of the landscape. After that, we will go back to San Pedro de Atacama to end the activity.

In the afternoon, and after having lunch, we will pick you up at your accommodation to start this trip outside San Pedro de Atacama to the depths of one of the driest deserts in the world that has a valuable hidden living treasure, contrary to what you might think.

With this Wildlife Photosafari, you will follow the route between San Pedro de Atacama and El Tatio Geysers that reaches 4200 meters of altitude and in which you will be able to see different animals like vicuñas, flamingos, vizcachas and much more.

It is not necessary for you to be a professional photographer, because this activity is designed for people with any knowledge level. Even, if you want to take pictures with your phone you can do it, because we have spyglasses and binoculars adapters.
Day 4 E-Bike Cejar Lagoon + Night Trek

E-Bike Cejar Lagoon + Night Trek

We will pick you up at your hotel to go to the base where starts the activity. There, the guide will give some directions about the bike’s operation, that have electric motors of 350 W. That way, you will start the bike tour to Cejar Lagoon, for what you have to know how to ride a bike, a tour which will require you to pedal by the oasis and the open desert. You will stop to take pictures and also will make a stop in the shade of some tree on the way to be able to rest.

In addition, you will visit Cejar Lagoon, surrounded by scarce vegetation, which highlights the color of the water with the Andes as background. Likewise, you will visit the Piedra Lagoon, were you will be able to take a dip and experience the flotation effect without any effort, due to the salt concentration in the water. After that, you will return to the base to end the activity, so then you go back to San Pedro de Atacama.

In the afternoon, we will pick you up at your hotel to leave San Pedro de Atacama and enter to the world’s most arid desert. We will reach the walking starting point and begin this Salt Mountain Range Night Trek for two to three hours. We will have the experience of being in the desert during the night, and see or feel the landscape changes, depending on if the tour is made in a full moon period. Although the terrain has ups and downs, it is a little bit physically demanding.

On the tour, we will have a moment to rest and watch the sky with naked eye, because we will be in the Atacama Desert, one of the best places to the observation of the night sky, due to the low humidity and lighting in the surroundings. Once we are back in our vehicle, we will be able to enjoy a snack before beginning the return to San Pedro de Atacama, where our tour ends.

Visit The Tatio Geysers - Transfer To Calama Airport

A must in the Atacama is the Tatio Geysers Tour, a unique show in the world with 80 smoking geysers at 4200 m altitude.

On the tour to the Tatio Geysers, we will leave at dawn from San Pedro de Atacama towards the Altiplano, climbing the hills and mountains of the Andes Mountains. After 1 hour and a half of travel, we will arrive at the Geysers, a unique natural spectacle in the world, with 80 smoking geysers at 4200 m altitude. Next to this natural setting, we will enjoy a breakfast refueling, then tour the geothermal field, surrounded by numerous steam columns. Also, it is possible to visit the rustic well that is within the same field.

On the way back to San Pedro de Atacama, we will make a stop at the Putana River, where we will observe the native flora and fauna of the place, and then make another stop in the town of Machuca, where it is possible to buy flame anticuchos, empanadas, and other typical foods from the area .

After the tour, you will take the shuttle bus at your hotel to go to the Airport (Afternoon Flight).
