For a stroll, a little different to the cobbled streets of central Brussels head to Cinquantenaire and see the Triumphal Arch too. Wander around the Belliard Tunnel and pop into the art and history museums.

Brussels has one of the biggest and grandest courthouses in Europe, take a look inside this beautiful building with the added benefit of some of the best city views!

Day 2: Bruges, Belgium

The main attraction of the Basilica of the Holy Blood is the Holy Blood. Inside the church, there's a phial made of rock crystal filled with blood brought to the city by Thierry of Alsace after the 12th century Second Crusade. This phial is believed to contain the blood of Jesus Christ and itโ€™s brought out to be worshipped by believers every day.
