Day 1: Bruges, Belgium

Bruges' Markt, or Market Square oozes charm. It is surrounded by the most colorful buildings, and there are plenty of cafes and restaurants for you to people watch.

Stop At: Basilica of the Holy Blood, Burg 13, Bruges 8000 Belgium
The main attraction of the Basilica of the Holy Blood is the Holy Blood. Inside the church, there's a phial made of rock crystal filled with blood brought to the city by Thierry of Alsace after the 12th century Second Crusade. This phial is believed to contain the blood of Jesus Christ and itโ€™s brought out to be worshipped by believers every day.

Day 2: Ghent, Belgium

Also known as Castle of the Counts, it was built back in 1180. Today it houses the Arms Museum and Museum Judicial Objects that display various weapons used in warfare and other contraptions used for punishment during medieval times. You can go to the top for 360 views of the city!

Perhaps one of the most picturesque areas in Ghent and is a great place to take in the surroundings. The angle of this bridge means itโ€™s the only place you can see the Medieval Towers of Ghent, St Nicholasโ€™ Church, Belfry of Ghent and St Bavoโ€™s Cathedral
