Itinerary

Day 1: Kisumu - Masai Mara Game Reserve

Pass By: Kisumu, Kisumu, Nyanza Province
Pickup from your accommodation in Kisumu City. Kisumu city is found along with Lake Victoria which is the second freshwater lake in the world, which is the home to freshwater fish as Tilapia, Nile Perch and others. The main activities and the source of income is fishing mostly by the Luo Tribe.

Pass By: Kericho Tea Plantations, Kericho 20200 Kenya
Driving through Kericho tea country to see the scenic and beautiful tea plantations. Kericho is located at the high hills of the Rift Valley and has very fertile soil and a good distribution of rain throughout the year which sustains the agricultural activities as Tea and maize farming.

Stop At: Narok, Narok, Rift Valley Province
Further, the driver will take you to Narok town. Narok is a small Masai town where most of the Masai's carry out their businesses. You will have a group buffet lunch here.

We further venture into the Bushland of the Masai's and into the Masai Mara game reserve the home of the Traditional Masai people and the Big five. On arrival, we will enjoy an introductory evening game drive followed by dinner and overnight at the campsite.

Day 2: Masai Mara Game Reserve

Pass By: Mara Triangle, 83 Muthaiga Road, Maasai Mara National Reserve 00619 Kenya
You will leave the camp in the morning after full breakfast with your picnic lunch boxes for an extensive full day game viewing in this vast savanna grassland within the Mara triangle. Famous Mara reserve is renowned for its great Herds of Plains Game, Black-Manned Lions, Leopards, and Cheetahs. It also contains numerous elephants and virtually every type of wildlife to be found in Kenya.


Pass By: Mara River, Maasai Mara National Reserve 00200 Kenya
The extensive game drive includes going up-to-the Mara River which is the gateway to the annual migration of millions of Wildebeests and Zebras crossing Mara River, around late June/early July to August with parts of September and again on their return south, around the last two weeks of October through early November. This annual activities makes Maasai Mara 8th wonder of the world. We return to the campsite in the evening to end our second-day adventure.

Day 3: Masai Mara Game Reserve

Pass By: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
After breakfast, you will enjoy another game drive in the morning and in the evening.
Maasai Mara being 1500 square kilometers, we will move west of the Mara through to the different parts which we did not visit in the second-day game drive, like the lookout hill to see the rolling savannah grassland and the Mara hills. After lunch at the campsite, you will go for another evening game drive which will take us until the sundowner.

Day 4: Masai Mara Game Reserve - Lake Nakuru National Park.

Stop At: Narok, Narok, Rift Valley Province
Pre-breakfast game drive then return to the Campsite for late breakfast before leaving for Nakuru. En-route hot buffet lunch in Narok town, a small Masai town known for its wheat growing and other small business activities.

Pass By: Rift Valley Province, Rift Valley Province
After lunch in Narok town, we drive down into the Great Rift Valley floor, to enjoy the scenic views of Hills, Valleys, Escarpment and Mountains found in the great rift valley some of which were formed as a result of Volcanic activities, as Mt. Longonot which you will see from a distance on your way to Nakuru. You will arrive Nakuru town in the evening to check in a budget hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru - Kisumu/Nairobi

Pass By: Lake Nakuru National Park, Lake Nakuru National Park, Rift Valley Province
You will leave your accommodation after English breakfast for an extensive morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National park known for its millions of lesser Flamingos, Pelicans, and other water birds. drive around the lakeshore in search of game animals among them both Black and white Rhinoceros. You will drive to Nakuru town for hot lunch before leaving for Kisumu.

Pass By: Agro-Chemical Factory, Muhoroni, Kenya
After lunch in Nakuru town, we leave for a journey with scenic views of the rift valley hills and escarpment as you drive through beautiful and famous Fort Tenan, you will continue passing the Sugarcane plantations of Muhoroni Sugar Caneyard through Ahero town the second rice farming zone in Kenya. You arrive Kisumu in the morning to end your 5 days budget tour.
