About experience

Day 1: ArrivalPick-up at airport and transfer to luxury 5 star accommodation. Here your ground agent will meet with you and run through your trip.

Day 2: Lodge on the edge of the Etosha National Park - Namutoni GateWe depart from your luxury accommodation in Windhoek at 7.45am. We stop briefly at Otjiwarongo and enjoy lunch before entering Etosha National Park through the Namutoni Gate. We arrive at our accommodation just before lunch. We game drive across the park visiting waterholes Elephantโ€™s rest, Klein Namutoni and Chudob, looking for predators as well as zebra, giraffe, elephant and rhino. At sunset, we watch animals located inside Etosha National Park which has a floodlit waterhole next to the camp. Double rooms with en-suite bathroom facilities. An early night is recommended.

Day 3: Luxury Lodge outside Etosha National Park โ€“ Anderson Gate

We rise for a pre-sunrise breakfast at your private game lodge and then game drive until mid morning when we will stop for a light snack on the largest salt pan in Namibia, the mighty Etosha Pan (seasonal).Along the way we visit several waterholes and are afforded splendid views of the massive Etosha Pan. The game viewing is usually excellent. We stop at Halali camp for a rest and a leisurely lunch and there is time to visit the Halali waterhole and to make use of the swimming pool and bar facilities before continuing to the western side of the park and our accommodation at Epacha Game Ranch. We arrive at Okaukuejo late afternoon and leave the park prior to sunset, visiting one last waterhole to worship another African sunset. Accommodation is luxury accommodation with en-suite bathroom facilities located just outside the park. Another early night is recommended.

Day 4: Swakopmund

After lunch we head directly through the Namib Desert or Omaruru and stop at the last shipwreck on the Skeleton Coast before arriving late afternoon in Swakopmund. We recommend exploring this seaside town on foot this afternoon and perhaps visiting the jetty for sundowners overlooking the cold Atlantic Ocean. Your guide will be happy to recommend a good restaurant for your evening meal. You will be dropped at your accommodation.

Day 5: WindhoekAfter morning activities in Swakopmund -choice of halfday desert tour/seal and dolphin cruise/Mondesa tour or crafts market tour-our return trip to Windhoek commences after lunch.
