Day 1: Dubrovnik

Day 2: Dubrovnik Old Town

Stop At: Dubrovnik, Dubrovnik, Dubrovnik-Neretva County, Dalmatia
After breakfast, meet your guide at Pile Gate, the ancient entrance to Dubrovnikโ€™s medieval Old Town. This ancient walled city by the Adriatic Sea, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is widely believed to date as far back as the 7th century. The history here is captivating.

Stroll along the main street that runs through the Old Town, and stop to marvel at Orlandoโ€™s Column โ€” a symbol of the freedom the city now enjoys. Visit some of the most important sites in Dubrovnik, such as the ancient Rectorโ€™s Palace and the Franciscan monastery, and listen as your guide reveals some of the fascinating stories hidden behind the age-old stone walls. At the conclusion of your tour, enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 3: Montenegro Day Trip from Dubrovnik

Stop At: Bay of Kotor, Kotor, Kotor Municipality Montenegro
Enjoy breakfast in your hotel, and then leave for the neighboring country of Montenegro for a full-day tour. Less than an hourโ€™s drive from Dubrovnik, the Montenegro coast boasts a rare natural beauty and a wonderful range of interesting historical sites. Travel through the scenic valleys of ลฝupa Dubrovaฤka and Konavle, and around the idyllic Bay of Kotor.

Spend time in the nearby coastal towns of Risan and Perast, and learn how these once-mighty settlements are now better-known for their fishing and maritime traditions. Here, you have the option of taking a boat trip to Our Lady of the Rocks, a tiny island off the coast of Perast in the Bay of Kotor.

Continue along the coast to the ancient Mediterranean port of Kotor and visit the famous Old Town, and the nearby beaches by the charming seaside town of Budva. Hear of the many historical monuments in the area, enjoy stunning views along the way and take the time to capture this beautiful landscape on camera. When your time in the Bay of Kotor comes to an end, relax on the ferry journey across the bay and back to Dubrovnik. Relax at leisure in the evening.

Day 4: Mostar and Medjugorje Day Trip from Dubrovnik

Stop At: Neum, Neum, Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina
Start the day with breakfast in your hotel, and then head off on a private day trip to Bosnia-Herzegovina. Pause along the way on the bridge outside Dubrovnik, and enjoy the spectacular views of the ancient city that the location affords.

Travel onward along the Adriatic coastline as your guide points out the sights of special interest, and stop for a little while in the town of Neum. This delightful coastal town is an ideal shopping spot and the perfect place to stop for a coffee in the sun. Any refreshments are at your own expense.

Stop At: Pocitelj, Pocitelj, Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina
From here, continue through the picturesque delta of the Neretva River to the historic town of Poฤitelj, where you can enjoy free time for sightseeing and relaxation. Dating back to the 15th century, the riverside town of Poฤitelj is a fine example of the medieval architecture prevalent in this part of the world.

Stop At: Medjugorje, Medjugorje, Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina
Hop back into your minivan and continue onward to Medjugorje, a town in the Herzegovina region near the Croatian border. Medjugorje is a very spiritual place, and a famous pilgrimage site. Many people in the Catholic world believe the Virgin Mary appeared here in 1981, and since that time Medjugorje has been visited by people from all over the world.

Stop At: Old Bridge Area of the Old City of Mostar, Stari Most, Mostar Bosnia and Herzegovina
Your next stop is Mostar, a charming city on the Neretva River. Over the centuries, Mostar has been a place where people of many different religions, backgrounds and cultures have existed. As a result, Mostar is today considered by many to be the Herzegovina region's cultural capital.

Visit the Old Bridge (Stari Most) โ€” the cityโ€™s symbol and an important local landmark โ€” and perhaps pose for a photograph or two. Explore the Nesuh-Aga Vucjakoviฤ‡ Mosque, the synagogue and the many other sites of special interest.

When you are ready your driver will be waiting to take you back to Dubrovnik.
