Once we arrive in Trujillo, we will be picked up and transferred to the hotel. After check-in at the hotel, we will have the morning free for shopping or resting.

** NOTE: It is recommended to arrive before 11 in the morning.

Afternoon: Visit to Huacas del Sol y Luna & Chan Chan

Tour of the ancient Campiña de Moche, in addition to The Temples of the Sun and Moon, displays of original friezes and murals. In the afternoon, tour of Chan Chan, visiting Huaca Arco Iris, Site Museum, Nikan Palace and the Huanchaco Spa with its enigmatic Caballitos de Totora.

Day 2 Chiclayo - Lord Of Sipan

Chiclayo - Lord Of Sipan

We will leave Trujillo around 6:00 am with departure to the city of Chiclayo. On arrival we will begin our visit to the Valley of the Pyramids of Túcume In the middle of the desert, 26 adobe pyramids (huacas) were erected, which were former residential palaces of the elite of the time and later became the center of the administrative political power of Chimu and Inca cultures. Then we will start our journey to Lambayeque for the visit of the Royal Tombs of the Lord of Sipán Museum. This archaeological museum was inaugurated in 2002 and has a design based on the architecture of the pyramids of the Mochica culture (1st to 7th century AD).

Free time for lunch (not included)

We end with the tour to Huaca Rajada, the discovery site. Once the visit to the museum is finished, we will go to the Huaca Rajada or Sipán archaeological complex, where the pyramids dedicated to religious worship are located. The place has two platforms, one of which is estimated to have reached 35 meters in height. The mausoleum is located on the side and in the past it had six levels or construction phases. The remains of the Lord of Sipan are in the sixth and last. Return back to Trujillo.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will begin our visit to the El Brujo Archaeological Complex, which is formed by Huaca Cao considered the most important ceremonial center in the Chicama Valley, where large polychrome murals have been discovered, and the Lady of Cao, belonging to the Moche civilization; We will continue the visit to the Cao museum, with its beautiful polychrome murals. In the Ceremonial Plaza we will see the prisoners and the so-called "Complex Theme" or Moche Calendar. Then, we went up to the compound where the tomb of the Lady of Cao was found. This courtyard is decorated with murals representing the god Aia-Paec and also life or catfish. At the end of the visit, we will return to the hotel in Trujillo.

Day 4 Trujillo City Tour - Departure From Trujillo

Trujillo City Tour - Departure From Trujillo

In the morning, transfer from the hotel to start our city tour. We will begin this tour through the capital of the La Libertad district, to learn a little more about its own history that dates back to pre-Columbian times. The tour of the city of Trujillo begins with a visit to the main square of the city, where we will have an explanation of the Freedom Monument and some of the surrounding buildings, such as the Trujillo Cathedral. In addition, we will pass by the Urquiaga House, transformed into a museum that has different pieces from the pre-Columbian era, from the colony and from the independence of Spain. During the last part of the tour, we will pass by the Itaurregui Palace and Plaza El Recreo, where the first Trujillo fountain is located, made of Italian baroque carved marble and originally located in the main square. After that, we will finish the tour and we can continue walking around the city or simply return to our hotels and rest a little.

At the appropriate time, transfer to the airport or Trujillo bus station.
