Today, you will meet the driver/guide to commence your 4 days desert tour Fes to Marrakech. It is one of longest trips, approximately 7hrs drive, but with the change of landscapes, we will have a good trip. On our way, we will visit Ifrane with its European character and climate, parks with lakes and chalets, ski resort, and much snow in winter, so that the town is called “Moroccan Switzerland”. Around Ifrane, we will be able to see magnificent Atlas cedars and feed wild monkeys as we go to Azrou. Monkeys are friendly, they love being fed.Lunch stop in Midelt. Moreover, our route will lead us through the canyon and the valley of the Ziz River, and as we near Er-Rashidia, the scenery will become desertic.

Then for the second day of the 4-day Desert Tour Fes To Marrakech, we would meet the 4×4 driver after breakfast at the hotel, and have a 4×4 excursion through the dunes, followed by tea with the Nomads in the desert to see how they manage to live in the desert. After that, we will go to Khamilia to listen to Gnaoua. In the other hand, in the evening, we will arrive at a small village called Merzouga situated at the base of the white sand dunes, and we will enjoy camel rides to the camp in the desert, and the camp – accommodation provides comfortable beds, individual showers, and toilets. In the evening, we will have a dinner in the Moroccan style, a drums playing by only fire and the songs of Berbers in the desert. Moreover, admire the starts in the sky with no cloud.

Rising with the first beams of dawn, we will have a chance to admire the sunrise over the beautiful and peaceful sand dunes. This instant will be one of your strongest memories of Morocco!

Following breakfast, we will head back to our home in Merzouga and make our way towards Dades. Rissani which has “The fossil factory” will be on the way and here, you can see all the fossils of this region. In around three hours we will make a halt for panoramic picture by the picturesque town of Tinghir in the middle of the huge palm oasis. In the next part, we will move onto the famous Todra Gorge. Moreover, we will go for a walk along the gorge and have lunch in one of the local restaurants. We will go on with our trip in the incredible Dades village.
Day 4 Day 4: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – Marrakech

For the last day of our 4-day Desert Tour Fes To Marrakech, we are going to have a small drive to Dades gorges and then keep on driving to Ouarzazat. Mgouna is one of the towns through which we will pass and where the roses festival is held annually. We will proceed to Skura oasis. It is an oasis of date palms which is crossed by many rivers. Then proceed to Ouarzazate which is a 30-minute drive from Skura. This is why this city is often referred to as the “Hollywood of Morocco”. As far as the mentioned above Kasbah Taurirt belongs, it is one of historical places in this city and then we can proceed with our visit to it and attend the Cinema Museum, Atlas film studio. Second, we will make a brief drive to Ait Ben Hadou, a UNESCO site that is visited by many due to the fact it was featured in the Game Of Thrones. We will then head to Marrakesh through the highest Atlas Mountain pass, Tizi n-Tishka, lying at an altitude of 2260 m (3.5-4 hours without stops). Our drive will be interspersed with photo opportunities. This is one of the most scenic roads in Morocco, which presents scenes of the green river valleys with adobe villages, and the sites of ancient kasbahs. Then we will move to Marrakech. We can take a break at the hotel, and you have some free time.
