After breakfast, your safari adventure begins as your driver-guide picks you up from Arusha. Youโ€™ll embark on a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, a journey of approximately 3 hours. The park derives its name from the Tarangire River, which serves as a vital water source for wildlife during the dry seasons. Renowned for its vast elephant population, iconic baobab trees, and the spectacle of tree-climbing African pythons, Tarangire spans approximately 2,850 square kilometers.

Youโ€™ll spend the day immersed in game viewing, enjoying a picnic lunch overlooking the river to break up the journey. As the day draws to a close, before dusk sets in, youโ€™ll head to your lodge or campsite for a delightful dinner and an overnight stay.

    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Serengeti National Park

After an early morning breakfast, we depart for Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying a game viewing experience along the way. As we journey towards Serengeti, weโ€™ll embark on an evening game drive towards our campsite. As we crest the hillside, a breathtaking sight unfolds before us: the expansive Serengeti, stretching as far as the eye can see. The name "Serengeti" translates to "endless plains" in Kiswahili, and this 6,900 square mile (18,000 square km) park is home to over 2 million large animals, including more than a million wildebeest, hundreds of thousands of plains zebras, and Thomsonโ€™s gazelles.

Today starts with an early sunrise safari, capturing the African savannah in its vibrant morning light when wildlife is most active. Afterward, return to camp for a hearty brunch.

In the afternoon, continue to Ngorongoro, renowned as the 8th Natural Wonder of the World. Its towering walls enclose a vast 102-square-mile floor, a sanctuary for East Africaโ€™s wildlife, including rare black rhinos. The crater teems with diverse habitats like rivers, swamps, a soda lake with flamingoes, forests, and expansive plains. The bull elephants here are known for their impressive tusks, nourished by mineral-rich volcanic soil and lush grasslands.

The craterโ€™s lakes host colorful flamingos and various water birds, while leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, and a variety of antelope species roam its plains. Keep an eye out for small mammals bustling about. Later in the afternoon, return to Arusha or head to the airport for drop-off.
