Upon your arrival at the airport, a dedicated representative from KANTU PERU TOURS will greet you and ensure a smooth transfer to your hotel in Cusco. During this journey, we’ll provide valuable insights about Cusco to enrich your experience. Once you’ve settled into your hotel, we recommend taking a moment to unwind and relish a light meal before embarking on our City Tour.

Around 12:30 to 1:00 p.m., our representative will pick you up from your hotel to commence this captivating exploration of Cusco. Our journey commences with a visit to the cathedral, a pivotal landmark in modern-day Cusco. Subsequently, we’ll venture to Qoricancha, the revered Temple of the Sun, steeped in significance from the Inca era. Immerse yourself in this remarkable experience as we also delve into the awe-inspiring Inca fortress of Sacsayhuaman, a testament to human creativity that pushes the bounds of imagination. Our tour further unfolds to include Q’enqo, the temple of the Puma, Tambomachay, the water temple, and Puca Pucara, the Red fortress. The tour typically concludes around 6:30 p.m. in the city center.

Continuing our exhilarating 4-day journey, we’ll commence by delving into the remarkable Sacred Valley, culminating in an overnight stay in the charming city of Aguas Calientes.

Around 8:00 a.m., our representative will collect you from your hotel (suggested: pack a small bag with essentials for an overnight stay). Our first stop brings us to the Sacred Valley viewpoint, treating you to breathtaking panoramas of this extraordinary landscape.

Our adventure unfolds further as we arrive at the Inca site of Pisac. Here, our knowledgeable guide will offer intricate insights into this grand Inca city. Next, our transport will lead us to Urubamba, recognized as the Sacred Valley’s hub, where we’ll relish an Inca buffet lunch at a renowned tourist restaurant. Post-lunch, a short 30-minute bus ride takes us to Ollantaytambo, where impressive structures like the Temple of the Sun await exploration atop the hill.

In the afternoon, our team will escort you to the Ollantaytambo train station. We’ll ensure a suitable wait time before embarking on a scenic train journey lasting approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes, culminating at the Aguas Calientes train station, where our team will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. Around 8 p.m., our local Machupicchu guide will contact you, providing further details about the upcoming Machupicchu tour.

Day 3 Day 3: Machu Picchu Tour

Day 3: Machu Picchu Tour

Following a delightful breakfast, we’ll head to the bus station for our 30-minute journey to Machu Picchu, a trek that culminates at the Checkpoint. It’s imperative to have your original passport for Machu Picchu Control to ensure an uninterrupted and memorable experience.

Prepare to savor the classic, unforgettable first glimpse of Machu Picchu, as regulations preclude returning once you proceed. This initial view marks an indelible moment. Following this breathtaking sight, our expert guide will lead a comprehensive tour, highlighting key spots like the main square, the sundial, and the Temple of the Condor.

As the tour concludes, our guide will offer guidance on reaching the train station. Subsequently, you’ll board a bus back to Aguas Calientes, where you’ll have the chance to relish lunch at a local restaurant (at your discretion). Ensuring a timely arrival, you’ll then head to the train station, allowing for a 30-minute buffer to prevent any delays.

In the afternoon, we’ll embark on the train back to the town of Ollantaytambo as per the scheduled departure. There, our representative will be eagerly waiting to accompany you back to the city of Cusco, with an estimated return between 8 and 10 p.m.
