Day 1: Welcome - Meet & Greet Airport Transfer

Pass By: Cape Town, Cape Town, Western Cape
Welcome to Cape Town, South Africa!

Upon your arrival at Cape Town International Airport, one of our representatives will meet you in the arrivals terminal for your transfer from the airport to your hotel in Cape Town. (Please include your arrival and departure flight details to ensure a smooth operation.) Should you require assistance with local sim cards, airtime or foreign exchange, please speak directly to our representative and he/she will be delighted to assist you with your request. Upon your arrival at the hotel, you will check into your accommodation and spend the rest of the day at your own leisure.

Day 2: Robben Island and Table Mountain Full Day Tour

Stop At: Robben Island Museum, Cape Town Central 7400 South Africa
8:00 am: Pick up at accommodation after breakfast and transfer to the Nelson Mandela Gateway to Robben Island, V & A Waterfront. (Passport or copy thereof required for verification.)

9:00 am Charter a shared boat trip to Robben Island. The entire tour takes up to 3.5 hours including ferry journey times. Upon reaching the island, disembark at Murray's Bay Harbour and take a brief walk to the bus that will transport you around the island. A former political prisoner will give you a site tour, including a viewing of Nelson Mandela's cell. After the tour, return to the Clocktower Precinct at the V&A Waterfront at between 12:30 and 13:00 pm. (Please note that Robben Island excursion is weather dependent. Should the excursion be cancelled due to unfavourable weather conditions guests will be refunded for the cost of the Robben Island ticket.)

Stop At: Table Mountain National Park 8001 South Africa
14:30 pm: Table Mountain is next on our agenda as we take the cable car to the top of the mountain for a guided tour. The iconic Table Mountain is one of the 7 Wonders of the World and is not to be missed on your Cape Town visit. (Please note that Table Mountain excursion is weather dependent. Should the excursion be cancelled due to unfavourable weather conditions guests will be refunded for the cost of the Table Mountain ticket.)

17:00 pm: Drop off to your hotel.

Day 3: Cape Peninsula Full Day Tour to Cape of Good Hope & Boulder's Penguins

Stop At: Bo-Kaap, Bo-Kaap, Western Cape
8:00 am: We begin with a brief drive-by City tour with views of historical monuments and museums like the Castle of Good Hope, City Hall, Slave Lodge, and Company Gardens. Then we proceed to the Bo-Kaap (Cape Malay Quarter) and stop for a photo opportunity with the colorful houses, which carries great historical significance. You may even have a chance to greet some of the locals if they are in sight.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Camps Bay, Camps Bay, Western Cape
9:00 am: We take a scenic drive along the Atlantic Seaboard with the mountains on one side and the ocean on the other, passing through Clifton, Camps Bay and Llandudno. We stop at Maiden's Cove for a photo opportunity with magnificent views of the Twelve Apostles.
Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Duiker Island, Hout Bay South Africa
10:30 am: At Hout Bay Harbour we will stop to take a boat trip to Duiker Island to view the Seals colony. The entire boat trip lasts for 45-minutes. We do not recommend this activity if the weather is not favourable.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Chapman's Peak Drive, Hout Bay Road Between Noordhoek and Hout Bay, 7872 South Africa
11:30 am: We drive along Chapman's Peak and stop at the viewpoint for spectacular photos. You will soon see why Chapman's Peak is one of the most scenic routes in the world.
Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Cape of Good Hope, Cape Point Rd, Table Mountain National Park 8001 South Africa
12:30 pm: We proceed to the Cape of Good Hope. Here we will see the Dias Cross and other monuments. We will have a photo opportunity at the Cape of Good Hope name board.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Cape Point, Cape Point, Western Cape
From the Cape of Good Hope you may take the option of a short hike up to the Cape Point lighthouse or you may take the Flying Dutchman Funicular to the lighthouse. (Funicular fees are excluded from the tour price.)

Stop At: Boulders Beach Penguin Colony, Simon's Town 7995 South Africa
15:30 pm: Take a drive to the Penguins colony at Boulder's Beach where we will visit the African Penguins. You may encounter one of these enchanting creatures on the boardwalk for an up-close experience.

Pass By: Muizenberg, Muizenberg, Western Cape
Our return route is via the Old Cape Road with views of St. James and Muizenberg beaches along the coast of False Bay.

18:00 pm: Drop off at accommodation in Cape Town.

Day 4: Cape Winelands full day tour to Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschhoek

Pass By: Franschhoek, Franschhoek, Western Cape
8:00 am: We depart for the town of Franschhoek which is known as the Food and Wine Capital of South Africa. The name Franschhoek means French Corner. Listen closely as your tour guide tells you about the French Huguenots who arrived in the Cape with their wine expertise while taking in the splendour of the Franschhoek Pass. In Franschhoek, you will view the French Huguenot Monument.

Stop At: Groot Drakenstein Prison (Victor Verster Prison), R301, Paarl South Africa
11:00 am: Take a photo with the monument of Nelson Mandela in front of the entrance to the Drakenstein Correctional Facility, formerly known as Victor Vester Prison. This is where he served his last 14 months imprisoned.
Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Fairview Wine and Cheese, Suid Agter Paarl Road, Suider Paarl, Paarl 7624 South Africa
12:00 am: Indulge in a Cheese and Wine tasting at Fairview Wine & Cheese Farm. The Fairview farm is on the southwestern slopes of the Paarl mountain range, approximately 60 km from Cape Town. The farm ranges in altitude from 400m above sea level on the slopes of the mountain to 180m on the valley floor.

13:00 pm: Some of the best red wines similar to the Bordeaux Blend in France are produced at Marianne Wine Estate. Marianne Floreal wine was hand-picked by Chef Gordon Ramsay for Nelson Mandela's 91st Birthday Party. Enjoy a Biltong & Wine Tasting here.

15:00 pm: We explore one of the oldest towns in South Africa known as Stellenbosch and see the Stellenbosch University campus. History, culture, natural beauty, sport, education, and wine has made the name 'Stellenbosch' resonate around the globe as one of South Africa's premier tourist attractions.

16:00 pm: We take a leisurely drive back to Cape Town for drop off at our accommodation between 17:00 pm and 17:30 pm.

Day 5: Garden Route Tour - Cape Town to Oudtshoorn

Pass By: Cape Town Central, Cape Town Central, Western Cape
7:00 am: Today we travel overland from Cape Town to Oudtshoorn along the R62, which is the longest wine route in the world. We will drive along the longest road tunnel in Africa (Huguenot Tunnel) to Worcester, Robertson, Barrydale, and Calitzdorp to Oudtshoorn.

Stop At: Graham Beck Robertson Estate, Robertson 6705 South Africa
9:15 am: We will stop at Graham Beck wine estate in Robertson for a wine tasting. The breathtaking Graham Beck tasting room overlooks the tranquility and splendor of Mother Nature in the picturesque Robertson Wine Valley. Here guests will enjoy a bespoke tasting of five internationally acclaimed Graham Beck MCC's. MCC refers to South Africa's unique version of Champagne.

Stop At: Buffelsdrift Game Lodge - Activities, Cango Caves Road, Oudtshoorn 6620 South Africa
13:30 pm: Arriving in Oudtshoorn we stop at Buffelsdrift Private Game Reserve for your close encounter with the giants of the African bush.

15:00 pm: During the bush safari game drive in an open game viewing vehicle, expect to see a wide range of animals including Hippo, Giraffe, Eland, Zebra, Buffalo, Springbok and much more. The duration of the bush safari is ยฑ 2 hours. About midway through the safari, there is a refreshment break at one of the scenic lookout points, which offer 360ยฐ panoramic views of the area and the Swartberg Mountains.

17:00 pm: Following our game drive we will travel to our accommodation in Oudtshoorn for check-in.

Day 6: Garden Route Tour - Oudtshoorn to Knysna

Stop At: The Cango Caves, 328 Approximately 30km (19 miles) from town on the R, Oudtshoorn 6625 South Africa
9:15 am: Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and late departure. From your accommodation, we will first make our way to the Cango Caves, where you will undertake the 1-hour standard tour. The Cango Caves can be found at the head of the picturesque Cango Valley in the spectacular underground wonder of the Klein Karoo. Situated in a limestone ridge parallel to the well known Swartberg Mountains, this is where you will find the finest dripstone caverns, with their vast halls and towering formations.

Stop At: Safari Ostrich Show Farm, R328 Road 6 KM From Oudtshoorn Towards Mossel Bay, Oudtshoorn 6620 South Africa
11:30 am: From the caves, a short drive will then bring you to one of the ostrich show farms, for a close up look at these peculiar birds.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: The Waterfront Knysna Quays, 21 Waterfront Drive, Knysna 6571 South Africa
14:00 pm: Continue on to Knysna, where you should reach by mid-afternoon (2ยฝ+ hour drive). This will leave sufficient time to visit the Waterfront.

16:30 pm: Arriving in Knysna we will drive to our accommodation for check-in.

Day 7: Garden Route Tour - Knysna/Plettenberg Bay/Tsitsikamma

Stop At: Plettenberg Bay, Plettenberg Bay, Western Cape
8:30 am: Today you remain in the Knysna / Plettenberg Bay area. After a leisurely breakfast, you now make your way to Plettenberg Bay for a Dolphin safari with Ocean Safaris.

9:30 am: Depart on your Whale or Dolphin watching Cruise. Whale watching is from June to November annually. Dolphin watching is from December to May annually. See these enchanting sea creatures up close and caption your memories on camera in the open sea. (Entrance fees are included.)

Stop At: Storms River Suspension Bridge, Tsitsikamma National Park South Africa
12:00 pm: From here we continue on to Storms River Mouth (Tsitsikamma National Park) for a 900m walk on the Suspension Bridge. This is a thrilling experience.
Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: Birds of Eden, Monkeyland Road, The Crags, Plettenberg Bay 6602 South Africa
15:00 pm: As we make our way back towards Knysna, we will stop at the Crags and visit the Monkeyland and Birds of Eden Aviary for guided tours of these facilities.

17:00 pm: Arriving back in Knysna we will drop off at accommodation.

Day 8: Flight from George to Johannesburg and transfer to Nelspruit

7:15 am: After an early breakfast we travel back to George to check-in for the flight to Johannesburg.

9:15am: Upon arrival at OR Tambo International Airport you will be met by one of our representatives who will be waiting in the arrivals terminal with your name board.

We travel overland via Pretoria, capital of SA to Hazyview on the border of the Lowveld. Comfort stops and break for a light optional lunch will be made on route.

Day 9: Panorama Route Full Day Tour

Stop At: Graskop Gorge Lift Company, R533 Road to Hazyview, Graskop 1270 South Africa
8:00 am: After pick up in Hazyview and surrounding areas, our first stop will be at Graskop Gorge Lift. This is one of the most exciting and thrilling experiences on the Panorama Route Tour. The viewing lift takes guests 51 meters down the face of the gorge into the forest below. This is where wooden walkways & suspension bridges meander along a 600-meter trail through the indigenous forest with interactive exhibits.

Stop At: God's Window, on the Drakensberg escarpment South Africa
God's Window is an amazing viewpoint and it is here that we will take an approximate 700m easy hike to the place where we will look down on the picturesque view of the Lowveld in Mpumalanga. This is sheer natural beauty not to be missed on the Panoramic Route. Marvel at the views of the magnificent Blyde River Canyon.

Stop At: Lisbon Falls, Graskop 1270 South Africa
The Lisbon Falls is the highest in Mpumalanga and is at a height of 92 meters. These falls are found near God's Window and falls into the Lisbon Creek, a right bank tributary of the Blyde River.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Bourkes' Luck Potholes, Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve, Moremela South Africa
Prepare for spectacular views of this amazing geological attraction formed by water erosion at Bourke's Luck Potholes. Walk along the walkways and bridges and be sure to take a photo inside the Red Frame. This is undoubtedly one of the major icons of the Panoramic Route. This water feature marks the beginning of the Blyde River Canyon and is certainly not to be missed on the Panoramic Route.

Stop At: Three Rondavels, South Africa
Three Rondavels will leave you breathless as you take in some of the most spectacular views of Mother Nature. This is truly one of the most beautiful scenic views you will ever lay your eyes on. Three Rondavels refers to a natural rock formation on the edge of the Blyde River Canyon and this is where you will have clear views of the highest peak in Mpumalanga.

An optional lunch stop will be offered before drop off at your hotel.

Day 10: Kruger National Park Full Day Safari

Stop At: Pabeni Gate Kruger National Park, Kruger National Park, Hazyview 1350 South Africa
5:30 am: After pick up at guest's accommodation we will travel to the Kruger National Park for our Full Day Kruger National Park Big 5 Safari Small Group Tour. Our custom-built open safari vehicles ensure that our guests have impressive views of the animals, in particular, the Big 5!

As we enter the Kruger National Park we explore the Park on the lookout for a pride of lions, majestic herds of elephants, a solitary leopard lying in a shady tree, the rare rhino, and herds of buffalo. To see the King of the Jungle is a really great experience and you will have an opportunity to see them free-roaming in their natural habitat. We will also see a multitude of other wild animals and birds, like hornbills, eagles, secretary birds, hippos, zebras, giraffes and an abundance of antelopes like impala & kudu. Our Tour guides are all qualified and have yearsโ€™ experience in the park. They love to share stories with our guests and ensure that you have the best safari experience possible. They will stop at rest camps throughout the day for breakfast, lunch and restroom breaks.

We recommend you bring along sun cream, a hat, sunglasses, comfortable shoes, warm clothing in the winter months and a rain jacket in the summer months. Complimentary mineral water will be available on all our safaris. (Please note that Safari Game Drives are dependent on nature. Day 12: Soweto Township and Gold Reef City Mining Tour

Pass By: Soweto, Soweto, Johannesburg, Greater Johannesburg, Gauteng
In order to miss most of the morning traffic, there will be a leisurely start to the day. From your hotel, we will travel to SOWETO โ€“ the so-called SOuth WEstern TOwnship โ€“ for a guided tour of the area. Amongst others, you will view the Hector Pietersen Memorial, Vilikazi Street, the Baragwanath Hospital and Walter Sisulu Square. The tour will finish near the Orlando and FNB football stadiums.

Pass By: Gold Reef City, Cnr Northern Parkway & Data Crescent, Johannesburg 2159 South Africa
Close to the FNB Stadium, you find Gold Reef City, where an underground mine tour (included) and the pouring of an old-style gold bar can be viewed.

By mid-afternoon, a motorized panorama city tour will bring you back to your hotel at the airport.

Day 13: Johannesburg to Victoria Falls - Zambezi River Cruise

8:00 am: After an early breakfast, a shuttle will bring you back to the check-in counters at JNBโ€™s OR Tambo International Airport, where you need to check-in for flight at 10:50 (or similar)

12:25 pm Arrival in Victoria Falls

13:30 pm After customs and the purchase of your multiple entry visa to Zimbabwe, we will travel via the local township, to your hotel to check-in.

15:30 pm: Transfer to the great Zambezi River for a sunset river cruise (snacks and drinks included).

18:30 pm: After the cruise, you will be transferred to the Boma Restaurant for dinner โ€“ with some African entertainment. After dinner, you will be returned to the hotel.

Day 14: Chobe National Park & River Cruise

Stop At: Chobe National Park, Chobe National Park, North-West District
07:00 am: After an early breakfast, the full day will be spent in Botswana. There is a drive of approx. 1hr to the border with Botswana, where you have to go through customs โ€“ both sides of the border!!! On reaching the hotel you will have a comfort break before you depart for the morning open vehicle game drive in the Chobe National Park. (Please note that Safari Game Drives are dependent on nature. We cannot guarantee that guests will see all the animals on the Game Drive on the day of the Safari.)

12:30 pm: Lunch will be included.

14:00 pm: After lunch, you will board a vessel for your afternoon river cruise on the Chobe River โ€“ border with Namibia.

16:30 pm: In the late afternoon you are returned to your hotel in Zimbabwe for an evening at own leisure.

Dinner will be optional at the hotel. Cost of dinner is excluded.
