Itinerary of your trip 3 Days Tanzania Lodge Safari

  • Day 1 Arusha โ€“ Tarangire National Park
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Arusha โ€“ Tarangire National Park

      We will pick you after breakfast in Arusha and following a 2 hour drive, you will arrive at the Tarangire National Park. In this region, Hemmingway often went on big game photographer safaris. 

      After the formation of the national parks in 1970, they turned the seasonal marshes and the endless savannah that one sees today into, once again, profitable Safari grounds. Today however, cameras thankfully have replaced the elephant guns. The Tarangire National Park has the highest density of elephants in North Tanzania and you can view these animals all year round in which the herds often can reach an impressive number of 300 animals. Until later you will drive to Karatu at the lodge for dinner and overnight.

  • Day 2 Karatu Lodge โ€“ Ngorongoro Crater
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Karatu Lodge โ€“ Ngorongoro Crater

      After an early breakfast departure at 6:00 am from Karatu town to Ngorongoro Crater. After completing the necessary registration formalities Gate, you will descend the Ngorongoro Crater for the crater tour. This 100 square miles natural amphitheater is host to an astonishing array of wildlife and you may be lucky enough to see Rhino, Elephant and Lion as well as large herds of Zebras and Wildebeests.

      A picnic lunch box will be taken inside the crater floor โ€“ late in the afternoon you will exit the crater and then drive back to Karatu for stay and overnight at the lodge.

  • Day 3 Lake Manyara National Park - Arusha
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Lake Manyara National Park - Arusha

      After breakfast you will enjoy a half day game drive at Lake Manyara National park before we return to Arusha. You will be transferred to your accommodation or driven to the airport for your flight.
