      Today youโ€™ll jump into Hanoiโ€™s sights and sounds on a tour that covers all the essentials. Youโ€™ll visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex, which includes the Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minhโ€™s former stilt-house residence, The Hoa Lo Prison, The One Pillar Pagoda and The Temple of Literature, which, dating back to 1070, is Vietnamโ€™s oldest university.

      After lunch, you will explore the enthralling Museum of Ethnology, which contains an extensive display of life-size structures dedicated to Vietnamโ€™s 54 ethnic minorities. Next, enjoy an hour-long cyclo ride winding through the narrow, chaotic streets of the Old Quarter - a must for any visitor to Hanoi! The day finishes with a traditional performance of the famous Vietnamese Water Puppets Show.

      After breakfast, you will take a private transfer for about 3 hrs to Halong City, where you will begin your one and a half daysโ€™ Halong Bay cruise.       Wake up early this morning to catch the sunrise over the bay with a Tai Chi lesson on the sundeck. Continue cruising and you can choose either kayak or traditional rowing boat to around discovering local life on the waters. Disembark at Tuan Chau International Passenger Port at around 11:00, where your guide and driver will wait for you and drive you to Hanoi airport for your onward flight (arrive at the airport at around 1:30 pm).

  • Day 10 Mekong Delta Exploration

      Mekong Delta Exploration

      In the early morning, you will head out of the bustling city to Mekong Delta Area. Cruising on the Mekong river for sightseeing: islands of Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle, Phoenix. 

      Land on Unicorn island, take a walk on the village road, visit an orchard of tropical fruits. Visit a bee-farm, enjoy honey-tea and visit a typical house in Mekong Delta. Visit coconut candy workshop, taste fresh candies. Enjoy tropical fruits at local farm, listen to Southern traditional music. 

      Next to land on Dragon island, transfer by cyclo or motorbike to local home. Have a homemade lunch and enjoy cooking time with some dishes such as โ€œBanh Xeoโ€ (Vietnamese crepe); Spring Rolls.... with the owners. After lunch, return to boat station. Transfer back to Saigon. End of tour at your hotel.

      This morning you will be picked up at your accommodation in Siem Reap to begin your unforgettable Angkor Wat Tour. You will be transferred by private car to the West Gate of Angkor Thom โ€“ undiscovered by mass tourists. Your tour will include a visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom, the last capital of the Angkor Period (AD 802-1432). Visit the breathtaking Bayon Temple, one of the most popular sites in the Angkor complex with over 200 giant faces carved into its 54 towers. The temple was designed to represent the 54 provinces of the Khmer Empire and it still carries a completely majestic atmosphere. You will also visit Baphuon Temple, Phimeanakas Temple,the Terrace of the Elephant,the Terrace of the Leper King,and the Royal Palace Temple. 

      In the afternoon, you will visit Angkor Wat Temple, one of the seven wonders of the world. Angkor Wat is a World Heritage Site since 1992, famous for its beauty and splendor. View sunset at Phnom Bakheng before heading back to your accommodation.

      During the visit of Angkor Wat, Baphuon and Banteay Srey temple โ€“ visitors should wear Shirts or blouse covering shoulders and arms and long skirts or trousers covering legs. (No miniskirt or short trousers). Children under twelve years old are not allowed to climb up this tower. It will be closed on the Buddhist Sabbath Days, the Buddhist religious days, four days a month in accordance with the Lunar Calendar.

      Today you will visit Tonle Sap, the largest fresh-water lake in South East Asia. Kompong Phluk is a cluster of three villages of stilted houses built within the floodplain. It is an attractive small community surrounded by mangroves, virtually untouched by time or tourism. During the boat trip, you will explore Floating Village, a High steak house in Tonle Sap Lake, the local community, and the childrenโ€™s school.

      Today you will enjoy a private guided tour of Bangkok. Start with the dazzling, spectacular Grand Palace. Itโ€™s undoubtedly the cityโ€™s most famous landmark. You will see the Palace, which is used for many different occasions, and you will see The Coronation Hall, the Funeral Hall, the Royal Guest House, and the mysterious, famous Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew), the most revered Buddha image in Thailand. Continue to Wat Pho, which is one of Bangkokโ€™s oldest and largest temples. Wat Pho was built by King Rama I about 200 years ago and houses the gigantic, gold-plated Reclining Buddha image. This unique image is 49 meters long and 12 meters high with beautifully inlaid mother-of-pearl soles. After lunch at a local restaurant, you will walk to the pier and take a water taxi to visit Wat Arun, which is also called "The Dawn Temple". 

      ยญ ยญYou will whizz off to pick up some street snacks in a local street food paradise by TKU TUK, where you will sample a selection of items ranging from one of Bangkokโ€™s most famous pork satays (Moo Satay) to fresh spicy chili dips (Nam Prik). What will follow is a diverse range of unique food stops and a little bit of mystery. You will change some of the stops on a regular basis to add an element of mystery but you will no doubt sample a combination of curries, regional specialties, and sweet surprises as we go. At least one of the stops you will grab a beer with your food.

      Depart early morning for a 2-hour drive to the Maeklong Railway Market (also known as Rom Hub Market). It has a train running through the middle of it several times a day. Marvel at each seller quickly moves their wares via ingenious sets of easily-movable containers to avoid the coming train, once the train has passed๏ผŒ itโ€™s back to business as usual.Your second stop is the 100-year-old Damnoen Saduak Floating Market located 100 km (62 mi) from Bangkok, one of the Thailandโ€™s most famous attractions. Day-in and day-out from about 8 am to about 11 am, the Floating Market is routinely crowded with hundreds of vendors and purchasers floating in their small rowing boats selling and buying or exchanging their goods. You will have a chance to take a ride on a long tail boat to get the real sense of a floating village. After the long tail boat cruise around the village, you will stop at a transit point where you can choose to further explore the floating market by a 4-seat boat or stroll around by the riverโ€™s banks. After having lunch, you will return to Bangkok and enjoy your free time at leisure.
