Day 1: BAKU

Stop At: Baku Boulevard, Neftchilar avenue, Baku Azerbaijan
In the morning we start our tour at 10:00 AM with Baku sightseeing. First, we will visit Mountain Park with panoramic views on the city and Baku Bay.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Palace of the Shirvanshahs, Zamkovskaya Side-street, 76 Icherisheher, Baku 1000 Azerbaijan
After taking a walk in the alley we drive to the old city to visit several interesting sites: Palace of the Shirvanshahs (15th c.), medieval caravanserai and bathhouse, old mosques, art shops.

Stop At: Maiden Tower, Downtown Baku Old City, Baku 1000 Azerbaijan
After visiting Palace of the Shirvanshahs, we will explore Maiden tower, 12th century monument that is listed under the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Day 2: BAKU โ€“ SHEKI

Stop At: Diri Baba Mausoleum, Qobustan Azerbaijan
After breakfast at the hotel, we drive to the north-west โ€“ to town of Sheki. We are going to make a few stops along the way to visit two interesting historical monuments: 15th century mausoleum of Sheikh Diri-Baba in Gobustan town.

After mausoleum of Sheikh Diri-Baba, we will find our self's in 8th century Juma Mosque in Shamakhi town.

Stop At: Sheki Khan's Palace, Sheki 0055 Azerbaijan
In the evening we are going to make a short Sheki city tour to sightsee Sheki fortress, Palace of Shaki Khans, old caravanserai and mosque.

Day 3: SHEKI โ€“ SIGHNAGHI

Stop At: Signagi City Walls, Old Town, Signagi Georgia
Sighnaghi is a town in Georgia's easternmost region of Kakheti and the administrative center of the Signagi Municipality.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Sighnaghi Fountain, Sighnaghi, Georgia
The Sighnaghi Museum, located in the regional capital of Kakheti, was founded in 1947. The first exhibition opened on December 31, 1950, comprising seven hundred artifacts. The Painting Gallery was founded at the museum in 1967, furnished with donations from well-known and beginner artists.

Stop At: Church of Kish, Sheki Azerbaijan
After breakfast we drive to Kish โ€“ a village located 5 km from Sheki โ€“ to sightsee the main attraction of the village โ€“ the Church of Kish. Church has an extraordinary history as its existing building is estimated to be built in the 12th century on much older pagan cultic site, and belonged to Caucasian Albanian, Georgian and Armenian churches in different times through history.

Stop At: Signagi City Walls, Old Town, Signagi Georgia
On day 3 our Azerbaijan tour ends as from Kish we drive to Georgia-Azerbaijan border near Lagodekhi. Tour guide will assist the group with border procedures. On the border we change the transport and from now on local Georgian guide will lead the tour. From the border we drive to Sighnaghi โ€“ a town in a traditional wine-making Kakheti region in the east Georgia.

Day 4: SIGNAGI โ€“ TSINANDALI โ€“ SHUMI โ€“ TELAVI โ€“ TBILISI

Stop At: House-museum of Chavchavadze, Tsinandali Georgia
Prince Alexander Chavchavadze, the founder of the Georgian romanticism turned the estate in the village of Tsinandali, which he inherited from his father into cultural and intellectual center of the country, the status it preserves to this day.
Duration: 30 minutes

โ€œWine company SHUMIโ€ is one of the leaders among producers of high quality Georgian wines. In ancient Georgia, The world โ€œShumiโ€ meant genuine, undiluted wine. It has long since been used as a defining term for the best wine. The logo of the company is a griffin (โ€œPhaskunjiโ€ in Georgian mythology), which according to an ancient legend, brought the very first brunch of grapes to the people. It was from these grapes that people stared growing vines on Earth.

Stop At: Batonis-Tsikhe Fortress, Akhmeta-Telavi-Bakurtsikhe, Telavi 383330 Georgia
โ€œBatonis Tsikheโ€ (fortress of master) in Telavi (Georgian: แƒ—แƒ”แƒšแƒแƒ•แƒ˜) in Kakheti region is considered to be the best preserved medieval royal palace in Georgia. Built by King Archil in 1667-1675, it was the residence of Kakhetian kings during the 17th and 18th centuries.

Day 5: TBILISI CITY TOUR

Stop At: Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi, Tbilisi, Georgia
On day 5 we start Tbilisi city tour by visiting the Holy Trinity Cathedral (Sameba), one of the tallest Orthodox Christian churches in the world.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Metekhi Cathedral, Metekhi St, Tbilisi Georgia
Our next stop is at Metekhi Platuau, where we visit Metekhi church constructed in the 5th century. Metekhi church is located on the cliff overlooking river Mtkvari and the old Tbilisi.

Stop At: Old Town (Altstadt) Tbilisi, Tbilisi Georgia
From Metekhi we move down to the old city and take walk on the streets of Shardeni, Iron Row, Cotton Row and Erekle II with lots of outdoor cafes, bars, restaurants, art galleries, souvernir stores and handicraft shopping spots. We continue our way until we cross the glass Bridge of Peace and get to the Rike Park.

Stop At: Narikala Fortress, Tbilisi Georgia
From here we head to the Narikala fortress โ€“ ancient fortification ovelooking Tbilisi from the hill, which can be reached by a aerial cable car.

Stop At: Abanotubani, Abano St, Tbilisi Georgia
From Narikala we walk back to the old city to pay a visit to the following sites: the National Botanical Garden of Georgia, Jumah Mosque, Legvtakhevi canyon and waterfall, and Abanotubani โ€“ historical sulfur bathhouse district of Tbilisi. Tbilisi city tour finishes at the Meidan Square.

Day 6: TBILISI โ€“ MTSKHETA โ€“ ANANURI โ€“ GUDAURI

Stop At: Jvari Church, Mtskheta Georgia
After breakfast at the hotel we drive to the north to Mtskheta โ€“ historical capital of Georgia. Mtskheta, located at the confluence of the two rivers of Mtkvari and Aragvi, is famous for its UNESCO World Heritage Sites โ€“ Jvari Monastery (6th century).

Stop At: Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, Arsukidze, Mtskheta 3300 Georgia
Next visit another UNESCO World Heritage Site - Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (11th century). After Mtskheta sightseeing tour and our visit to the handicrafts, souvenir shops and wine cellars located in the center of the town.

Stop At: Ananuri Fortified Castle Ensemble, Georgian Military Highway Near Zhinvali Reservoir, Ananuri 1803 Georgia
We continue our way to the north and drive through Georgian Military Highway towards the mountainous Khevi province. On our way to Gudauri ski-resort we make a stop at Zhinvali reservoir and visit Ananuri Architectural Complex. Ananuri once served as a fortress and residence of local feudal lords โ€“ Eristavi of Aragvi. In the evening we arrive at Gudauri (2196 m), Kazbegi Municipality.

Day 7: GUDAURI โ€“ KAZBEGI โ€“ TBILISI

Stop At: Russian Georgian Friendship Monument, Georgian Military Highway, Gudauri 383085 Georgia
On day 7 after breakfast we leave for Kazbegi town from Gudauri. On our way at the Cross Pass (2379 m), we make a stop at the red travertine hill and taste local mineral water.

Stop At: Gergeti Trinity Church, Near the Village of Gergeti, Stepantsminda Georgia
After our arrival in Kazbegi we set off for Mount Gergeti trek. Mount Gergeti is famous for its Holy Trinity Church โ€“ built in 14th century, church is overlooking Kazbegi town while standing under the Kazbegi peak (5033 m) and glacier. After our trek to Mount Gergeti is finished we come back to Kazbegi town and leave for Tbilisi.

Day 8: TBILISI โ€“ GORI โ€“ UPLISTSIKHE โ€“ AKHALTSIKHE

Stop At: Stalin Museum, 32 Stalin Avenue Stalin Park, Gori 1400 Georgia
After breakfast we depart for Samtskhe-Javakheti region. On our way we drive through Kartli province, where our first stop is at Gori town. In Gori we are going to visit the museum of Joseph Stalin, which consists of Stalinโ€™s memorial house, exposition building, and his room with various personal belongings.

Stop At: Uplistsiche Cave Town, Kvakhvreli 15 km Eastwards to Town Gori, Gori 1423 Georgia
From Gori we get to Uplistsikhe cave complex โ€“ another well-known site near Gori. Uplistsikhe represents ancient cave complex and one of the oldest urban settlements in Georgia, dating back to the 1st millenium BC. It is also possible to visit a small museum nearby and watch an 8-minute movie about Uplistsikhe.

Stop At: Borjomi Central Park, 50, 9 Aprili Street, Borjomi 1200 Georgia
Our next stop is at Borjomi โ€“ a spa-resort located in Mtkvari ravine. Borjomi is famous for its mineral water โ€˜Borjomiโ€™. After a walk around town and Borjomi Central Park, we depart for Akhaltsihke and arrive there in the evening.

Day 9: AKHALTSIKHE โ€“ AKHALTSIKHE CASTLE โ€“ VARDZIA โ€“ AKHALTSIKHE

Stop At: Rabati Castle, Akhaltsikhe Georgia
After breakfast we start our journey to the historical Samtskhe region and its administrative centre โ€“ Akhaltsikhe (translated as โ€œnew castleโ€) town. We are going to visit the most remarkable site of Akhaltsikhe โ€“ Rabati Castle, a medieval fortification complex. During Rabati excursion we are going to take a look at the fortress, museum, 14th century Jakeli Castle, fortress church and the St. Marine church.

Stop At: Vardzia, Erusheti Mountain, Aspindza 383770 Georgia
From Akhaltsikhe, we get to Vardzia. Built during the Georgian Golden Age in the 12th-13th cc., Vardzia is another well-known rock-hewn cave monastery, located on the slopes of Erusheti mountains in Samtskhe region.

In the evening we drive back to Akhaltsikhe.

Day 10: AKHALTSIKHE โ€“ BAVRA โ€“ GYUMRI

Stop At: Gyumri Main Square, Gyumri Armenia
On day 10 we start our trip to Armenia. After breakfast we drive towards Bavra Border Crossing Point. On our way we make a short stop at Khertvisi fortress โ€“ a medieval fortification erected in the Mtkvari river ravine.

After our arrival at Bavra Border Crossing Point, we will change vehicle and guided by the local expert will continue tour in Armenia. First, we head to Gyumri โ€“ the second largest city of Armenia and have a short city tour there.

Day 11: GYUMRI โ€“ SAINT HRIPSIME โ€“ ZVARTNOTS โ€“ YEREVAN

Stop At: Gyumri Main Square, Gyumri Armenia
After breakfast we take a walk in the historical center of Gyumri. Gyumri has lots of buildings from 19th century when the city was named as Alexandropol under the rule of Russian Empire.

Stop At: Saint Hripsime Church, Mesrop Mashtots St., 85 Near the Echmiadzin Monastery Complex, Vagharshapat 1101 Armenia
Saint Hripsime is a seventh century Armenian Apostolic church in the city of Vagharshapat (Etchmiadzin), Armenia. It is one of the oldest surviving churches in the country. The current structure was completed in 618 AD. It is known for its fine Armenian-style architecture of the classical period, which has influenced many other Armenian churches since. It was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site

Stop At: Matenadaran - The Museum of Ancient Manuscripts, 53 Mesrop Mashots Avenue Kentron District, Yerevan 0009 Armenia
From Vagharshapat we head to the capital of Armenia โ€“ Yerevan. In the evening we pay a visit to Mesrop Mashtots Institute of Ancient Manuscripts, known as Matenadaran museum, and take a look at its rich collection of medieval manuscripts and books.

Day 12: YEREVAN โ€“ GARNI โ€“ GEGHARD โ€“ YEREVAN

Stop At: Yerevan History Museum, Argishti 1/1, Yerevan 0015 Armenia
On day 8 after breakfast we begin our excursion of the Yerevan city and its surroundings. First, we will visit Yerevan History Museum in the center of the city. Museum has a rich collection of different artifacts that represent local culture and history from ancient to present times.

Stop At: Garni Temple, Geghard Monastery Road H3, Garni Armenia
From Yerevan we set off to see the Temple of Garni and Geghard monastery (founded in the 4th c.). The Temple of Garni is an ancient pagan temple with Greco-Roman colonnaded architectural style. Destroyed by the earthquake in the 17th century, this pre-Christian temple was rebuilt in the 20th century during the Soviet times.

From Garni we can take a walk along the canyon of Azat river and get to Geghard, which is located close from the Temple of Garni. Geghard monastery is listed among the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Day 13: YEREVAN โ€“ KHOR VIRAP โ€“ ARENI โ€“ NORAVANK โ€“ YEREVAN

Stop At: Khor Virap, Highway 11 - Near the village of Pokr Vedi Artashat, Lusarat 0612 Armenia
On day 13 after breakfast at the hotel we take a trip to Khor Virap Monastery in Ararat Province. Khor Virap is one of the most visited pilgrimage sites in Armenia due to the local beliefs, according to which St. Gregory the Illuminator, who is credited with converting Armenia to Christianity, was imprisoned in this place for 13 years by the Armenian King. Visitors can also observe view on the Mount Ararat โ€“ national symbol of Armenia, from the monastery

From Khor Virap we continue our way to southeast direction and get to the wine village of Areni, located in Vayots Dzor Province and famous for its red wine. We can visit the wine factory and taste local Armenian wine.

From Areni we drive to Noravank monastery, established in the 13th c. Noravank is situated in a narrow gorge of Amaghu river, near the town of Yeghegnadzor.

Day 14: YEREVAN โ€“ SEVAN โ€“ SANAHIN โ€“ HAGHPAT โ€“ SADAKHLO โ€“ TBILISI

Stop At: Lake Sevan, Lake Sevan, Gegharkunik Province
After breakfast we drive to one of the worldโ€™s largest alpine lakes โ€“ Sevan. The lake is situated in Gegharkunik Province, at an altitude of 1,900 m (6,234 ft) above sea level.

From Lake Sevan we continue our way to the north and arrive in the administrative center of Tavush Province โ€“ Dilijan town. On Dilijan city tour we are going to visit Sharambeyan street full of workshops, handicraft shops, souvenir stores and traditional buildings.

Stop At: Monastery of Sanahin, Alaverdi 1705 Armenia
From the center of Tavush Province, we move to Lori region and visit medieval Sanahin monastery (built in 10th c.), which is another site among the UNESCO World Heritage list from Armenia. Sanahin monastery was founded by the Bagratid royal family in the 10th century and consists of several churches and chapels.From Sanahin we get to Haghpat monastery located nearby.

From Haghpat we drive to Georgia-Armenia border. From Sadakhlo border crossing point we continue our way to Tbilisi led by Georgian driver.
