Upon arrival in Beijing today, you will receive a warm welcome from your guide. Afterwards, he or she will escort you to the well-picked hotel for check-in. You could use the rest of the day to explore this city freely.
Day 2 Beijing: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City & Temple Of Heaven

Beijing: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City & Temple Of Heaven

In the morning, you will visit the Tiananmen Square first, the world’s largest city square located in the center of Beijing. Then, walk northward to enter the Forbidden City, which is the world’s largest palace complex with a history of more than 600 years, also known as the Palace Museum.

Then, we will serve you an a la carte lunch with authentic local dishes. It costs CNY 150.00 per person and has been included in our price. In the afternoon, your guide will accompany you to visit the Yonghe Temple. And then go ahead to the Temple of Heaven, first built in 1420, where the emperors used to worship the God and pray for a peaceful year and an abundant harvest.

Day 3 Beijing: Mutianyu Great Wall & Hutongs Tour

Today, your guide will escort you to visit the Mutianyu Great Wall, one of the essence, the most representative and best-preserved parts of the Ming Dynasty Great Wall. A round-way cable car will take you up and down the mountain, so that you could spend more time to hike as long as you can on the Great Wall and to take more beautiful pictures.

On the way back to downtown Beijing, we will take a look of the Bird’s Nest, also known as the National Stadium where the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games Opening Ceremony was held.

Then continue your Beijing trip to Hutongs to explore the old alleyways and traditional courtyard houses. It is a good place to get close to the local people and their life.

Today, we will first visit the Summer Palace, the largest royal garden in China. After the visit, we will take you to the railway station to take a high speed train to Xi’an. When you arrive, your guide in Xi’an will wait for you at the railway station and take you to the hotel.

Today, your experienced guide will first escort you to visit the Terracotta Army Museum, the Eighth Wonder of the World. Inside are more than 8,000 life-size pottery figures of warriors, horses and chariots. Try your hand to make a mini terracotta figure. Lunch is by your own arrangement.

Then return to the downtown to visit the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda. This 9-storey pagoda was first built in the Tang Dynasty more than 1,300 years ago to collect the Buddhist scriptures and relics. Get immersed in Tang Dynasty culture at Great Tang All Day Mall.

The first destination of today’s China tour package is Xi’an City Wall, the most complete city wall in China. Riding a bike on the ancient Wall is quite a pleasant experience. If you are interested, you may rent one on the spot. After that, your guide will take you to visit the Great Mosque built in 742 and have a stroll in the nearby Muslim Quarter. This is an area inhabited by the Muslim people. Please respect customs of the Muslims when you are there.

Then, we will take you to the Railway Station for a high-speed train to Chengdu. It takes around 4 hours to reach Chengdu. Your local guide will transfer you to the hotel on your arrival.

Your Chengdu tour starts from the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. Here you will have a close encounter with the lovely pandas by taking photos of them and observe them eating, sleeping and playing. The next spot is the Broad and Narrow Alleys, a traditional historical and cultural block in Chengdu. Then your guide and driver will take you to the Jinsha Site Museum to experience the mysterious history of the ancient Shu Kingdom.

After the tour is completed, you will be escorted to the airport to take a flight to Guilin. Your Guilin guide and driver will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel.

Today’s Guilin tour starts with a cruise journey along the Li River to Yangshuo, which takes about 4 hours. You can enjoy the beautiful views along the river including the Yellow Cloth Shoal and the Mural Hill. Upon arrival at Yangshuo, we will arrange a visit for you to a local farmer’s home to experience the farming life style. In the late afternoon, you will be transferred back to Guilin.

In the morning, follow your guide to visit the Elephant Trunk Hill, a landmark of the city. Its shape is like a giant elephant drinking water from the River. Then we will visit the Reed Flute Cave, a representative karst cave in Guilin, enhanced with colorful lights and unique rocks.

Your tour guide will see you off at the railway station to take a high speed train to Zhangjiajie. After arrival in Zhangjiajie in the evening, our guide and driver will pick you up at the railway station and transfer you to the hotel.

Day 10 Zhangjiajie National Forest Park

Today we will spend a wonderful day in the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Firstly, we will visit the Yuanjiajie Scenic Area. Here, we will take the world’s highest outdoor elevator with a height of 326m, the Bailong Elevator, and have a look at the Hallelujah Mountain depicted in the movie Avatar.

Then we will take an electric car to the Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve. Afterwards, the guide will take you to visit the Jinbian Stream. This enormous canyon, weaved by the limpid stream, is famous for the Golden Whip Rock located upstream. At the end, we will take a small train to visit the Ten-Mile Gallery in Suoxiyu Scenic Area.

Today’s trip starts from the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon. You will experience the excitement of walking on the world’s highest Glass Bridge hanging over the valley with a height of 300m. The middle part of the bridge is connected by transparent glass. Those who love to take pictures can lie on the bridge and take unique pictures. Also, standing on the bridge, you can see the scenery at the bottom of the valley 300 meters below your feet, which challenges your courage a lot. Later, you will take a boat ride on the Baofeng Lake, while enjoying the local people singing folk songs.

Today your Zhangjiajie tour continues to the highest peak of Zhangjiajie, Tianmen Moutain. It’s well-known for a splendid natural wonder, Tianmen Cave. It is a huge cave through the mountain, often filled with fog. There are 999 steps to reach the cave. When walking up the steps towards Tianmen Cave, you will have a feeling of going up to the Heaven. Visit 72 Qilou to see the highest stilt house style architecture in the world.

After the visit, your guide will take you to the airport, where you will take an evening flight to Shanghai. When you arrive, your Shanghai guide and driver will meet you and drive you to the hotel.

Today, we will firstly visit the Shanghai Museum with its more than 120,000 collections and famous for ancient bronzes, calligraphy works and paintings. Then you will be escorted to the Yu Garden, an exquisite Chinese garden with a history of over 400 years.

In the afternoon, we will arrange a one-hour Huangpu River cruise for you to enjoy the landscapes of Shanghai on the two banks. Then your guide will take you to the Bund and leave you some free time to explore it. The last sightseeing spot is Tianzifang, a distinctive cultural street full of art galleries, cafes, bars and souvenir stores.
