      You will be welcomed by an amazing view of The Himalayas as you approach Kathmandu. At the airport, you will be welcomed by a representative of Serene Himalaya. In the evening, you will be served excellent authentic Nepalese cuisine which will introduce you to the countryโ€™s food culture. Overnight in Kathmandu. 

  • Day 2 Day 2: Kathmandu: Sightseeing And Preparation

      Day 2: Kathmandu: Sightseeing And Preparation

      We depart in the morning to the Pashupatinath temple, a famous 5th century Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva located on the banks of the Bagmati River. We then tour Boudhanath, one of the holiest Buddhist stupas, and the Patan Darbar square that has heritage buildings representing the four kingdoms (Kantipur, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Kirtipur) in Nepal. You can do your final preparations for the trek. In the evening, you will be introduced to the rest of the group, get your equipment checked by your climbing leader, and be briefed on the trip by a representative of Serene Himalaya. Overnight in Kathmandu. 

  • Day 3 Day 3: Fly To Pokhara And Trek To Ulleri (2050 M/6725 Ft): 30 Min Flight And 6 Hours Trek

      We take a flight to Pokhara;  the right side of the plane will offer the best views of The Himalayas.


      Representatives of Serene Himalaya will pick-you up at the Pokhara airport.


      We take a 1 hour and 20 minute drive to Nayapul (new bridge) on the main road and walk through a valley forest, cross the Bhurundi Khola (river) before reaching Tikhedhunga Village. From there we brave through thousands of steps and boulders up to the Ulleri Hill. We reach Ulleri by late afternoon. Overnight in Ulleri.

      We ascend to the Ghorepani village via stone stairs, while admiring the spectacular view of Annapurna South, through waterfalls, tiny villages, and several tea-houses before reaching Ghorepani that offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains including Annapurna South and the Nilgiri mountains. Overnight in Ghorepani. 

  • Day 5 Day 5: Ghorepani To Tadapani (2,700M/8,860Ft) With A Visit To Poon Hill (3,210M/10,529Ft): 6 โ€“ 7 Hours

      We rise early and walk up to Poon Hill to catch the magnificent sunrise over the Himalayas. From Poon Hill, we also get incredible views of Mustang, Pokhara, and more than 20 of the highest mountains. After enjoying a cup of coffee, we trek back to Ghorepani. We have breakfast here then walk towards the east and climb a ridge. Our trail descends through rhododendron forests and waterfalls before we reach Tadapani. Overnight in Tadapani. 

  • Day 6 Day 6: Tadapani To Chhomrong (2170M/7120Ft): 6 Hours Trek

      We descend through a large rhododendron forest to beautifully terraced fields. We walk uphill for around 5 km to a suspension bridge. After a few more miles of uphill and downhill trekking, we reach Chhomrong, a beautiful village right below the giant Annapurna massive. Overnight in Chhomrong.

      We descend 2500 stone steps and cross the bridge above Chhomrong Khola. From here it is an uphill climb to Sinuwa. Next, we pass through a beautiful forest to Kuldihar followed by an easy downhill walk to Bamboo. Overnight in Bamboo. 

  • Day 8 Day 8: Bamboo To Deurali (3230M/10,595Ft): 3 โ€“ 4 Hours

      We trek through a damp and cold bamboo forest, then ascend steadily through several steep sections. Upon reaching Himalaya Hotel, the forest opens up to the sun with an astounding view of the glacial river below. Then we take a steep climb up through a much drier forest before reaching Hinku Cave where the trail drops closer to the river before climbing again to Deurali, the most scenic stretch of the day. The vegetation is sparser, allowing magical views of the valley, the river below, and the sheer rock-face cliffs above with bands of wispy waterfalls. Overnight in Deurali. 

  • Day 9 Day 9: Deurali To Annapurna Base Camp (4,130M/13,545Ft) Via Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3700M/12135Ft): 5 โ€“ 6 Hours

      We climb gently through a river bed then over a steep trail over to the mountain side, and then a somewhat strenuous hike from Bagar to Machhapuchhre Base Camp. From the base camp we get excellent views of the majestic Machhapuchhre along with Mt. Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, Gandharvachuli and Gangapurna. The vegetation becomes scarce thereafter and the path widens as we enter the Annapurna sanctuary. From here, we get sensational views of the near-vertical south face of Annapurna towering above us. The sanctuary boasts of a dynamic view without anything impeding the 360-degree panorama. From the base camp we again get to savor mesmerizing views of the Machhapuchhre, Annapurna South , Annapurna I, Hiunchuli and other peaks. Overnight at Annapurna Base Camp. 

  • Day 10 Day 10: Annapurna Base Camp To Bamboo: 7 โ€“ 8 Hours

      From the Annapurna base camp we retrace our steps downhill to Bamboo. Overnight in Bamboo. 

  • Day 11 Day 11: Bamboo To Jhinu Danda (1760M/5770 Ft): 5 โ€“ 6 Hours

      Day 11: Bamboo To Jhinu Danda (1760M/5770 Ft): 5 โ€“ 6 Hours

      From Bamboo, it is an uphill trek to Kuldighar followed by a downhill walk to Chhomrong Khola. Then we climb the stone steps to Chhomrong. The trail then descends to Jhinu Danda, where we will be resting for the night. You can also take a 15-20 minute walk downhill to enjoy the hot springs. Overnight in Jhinu Danda. 

  • Day 12 Day 12: Trek To Nayapul Then Drive To Pokhara: 6 Hours Trek, 1 Hour Drive

      Day 12: Trek To Nayapul Then Drive To Pokhara: 6 Hours Trek, 1 Hour Drive

      We trek from Jhinu Danda to Nayapul, while enjoying the amazing hill landscape of western Nepal. From Nayapul, we drive to Pokhara. Overnight in Pokhara.


      *If the road construction connecting Jhinu Danda to Nayapul is complete, we can skip the trek and drive from Jhinu Danda to Pokhara. 

  • Day 13 Day 13: Fly To Kathmandu

      Day 13: Fly To Kathmandu

      We fly back to Kathmandu in the afternoon. In Kathmandu, you may spend the day exploring more of Kathmandu, or shop for souvenirs, lovely pashminas, or intricate art work. There will be a farewell dinner in the evening. Overnight in Kathmandu.
