Day 1: ARRIVAL DELHI

Pass By: New Delhi, New Delhi, National Capital Territory of Delhi
Meeting and assistance at the airport. Our representative will meet to welcome and escort you by a private chauffeur driven transport to the Hotel. Whilst the room keys and check-in is organized, our representative will also hand over the โ€œWelcome Folderโ€ documents and brief you the tour program.

Day 2: IN DELHI

Stop At: New Delhi, New Delhi, National Capital Territory of Delhi
After breakfast, start a city tour of Old & New Delhi visiting Raj Ghat (where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated); Red Fort (made famous by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan); and Jama Masjid (the largest mosque in India) which has three great gateways, four angle towers and two minarets constructed of alternating vertical strips of red sandstone and white marble. Chandni Chowk is the main street of Old Delhi is the colorful shopping bazaar. Next up is Laxminarayan Temple, a site dedicated to Lakshmi, the goddess of prosperity and good fortune. India Gate is a 42 meter high stone of triumph and is a war memorial. The tour continues with a visit to Rashtrapati Bhawan, the palace-like building home to the President of India. Afterward visit the beautiful Lotus Temple, also known as the Bahai Temple. Adherents of any faith can visit, pray or meditate. Today we also take the opportunity ride on a traditional rickshaw!

Day 3: DELHI - AGRA

Stop At: Agra, Agra, Agra District, Uttar Pradesh
After breakfast depart for Agra (approx. 233 Kms, 4-hour journey). Upon arrival check-in at the Hotel. Agra is the quintessential Mughal City, where the world marvels at the epitome of love, beauty, and sacrifice, The Taj-Mahal one of the wonders of the world. So overwhelming is the magic monument, that Agra has been immortalized, as the City of the Taj. As visitors walk down the narrow bustling streets, they cannot help but wonder, if the man contentedly smoking a hookah, is a direct descendent of some bygone Mughal. Afternoon starts a city tour of Agra, visiting the Taj Mahal. Built by the Mughul Emperor Shah Jahan in 1630 for his queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Besides the Taj, the Agra Fort (also called the Red Fort) is a stunning sight. Besides the historical monuments, one can also explore Agraโ€™s rich heritage of handicrafts in its markets.

Day 4: AGRA - FATEHPUR SIKRI - JAIPUR

Stop At: Fatehpur Sikri, Fatehpur Sikri, Agra District, Uttar Pradesh
After breakfast depart for Jaipur (approx. 265 Kms, 6-hour journey). En-route we visit Fatehpur Sikri, made a UNESCO world heritage site due to its stunning imperial complex of pavilions and palaces spread amongst a large abandoned 'city' (37kms from Agra).

Continue to drive to Jaipur, upon arrival check-in at the Hotel, for the evening. The picturesque capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur is instantly recognizable for its pink-washed buildings, a color associated with hospitality in Rajput culture. This beautiful city, along with Agra and Delhi, forms what is known as the Golden Triangle of India's tourist circuit. Jaipur is a city where royalty still lives in the grandeur of its palaces, where fighting for the honor of the clan has never been a need but a way of life, and where treating guests as gods has been a tradition from time immemorial. There is a timeless appeal to Jaipur's colorful bazaars, where you can shop for Rajasthani textiles and trinkets. The beautifully laid out gardens and parks, attractive monuments, and heritage hotels, once the residence of Maharajas, are all worth a look.

Day 5: IN JAIPUR

Stop At: Jaipur, Jaipur, Jaipur District, Rajasthan
Today enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of Jaipur - the picturesque capital of Rajasthan. To start off take a morning excursion to Amber Fort. Amber Fort is located 11km from Jaipur and was the old fort of the Kachwaha clan of Amber. The fort is built with white marble and red sandstone and looks even more attractive because of the Maota Lake in the foreground. The fort in itself is a beautiful sight to behold, but its clear reflection on the lake is so beautiful, it seems like an illusion. This afternoon take part in a city tour visiting the City Palace, the former royal residence built in a blend of the Rajasthani and Mughal styles. Jantar Mantar is the largest of the five observatories built by Sawai Jai Singh. The Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds was constructed for the royal ladies to watch royal processions without being seen. Also, visit Lakshmi Narayan Temple.

Day 6: JAIPUR - BIKANER

Pass By: Bikaner, Bikaner, Bikaner District, Rajasthan
After breakfast depart by surface to Bikaner, On arrival check-in at Hotel. Bikaner, founded in 1488 by a descendant of the founder of Jodhpur named Rao Bhikaji. The city of Bikaner has seen several ups and downs in its eventful history. Bikaner is also called the camel country, is renowned for the best riding camels in the world. It is also the birthplace of the world-famous Bikaneri bhujia and namkeen (a salted snack made of lentils). Being a desert-scape, the summers are very hot in Bikaner. The best time to visit this place is in winter when the weather remains cool and tolerable.

Day 8: BIKANER - JAISALMER

After breakfast depart by surface to Jaisalmer, On arrival check-in at Hotel. Sing from the heart of the Thar Desert like a golden mirage is the city of Jaisalmer. A commanding fort etched in yellow sandstone stands, with all its awesome splendor, dominating the amber-hued city. Located at the heart of the great Thar Desert, it offers the visitor an enchanting world of fable, color, and history. Moreover, the magnificent wood-and stone-carved mansions and buildings display the love and interest Rajputs had for the fine arts. The desert festival held here by the end of the winter season, during the months of January and February, attracts a large number of domestic and foreign tourists.

Day 9: IN JAISALMER

Stop At: Jaisalmer, Jaisalmer, Jaisalmer District, Rajasthan
After breakfast city tour visiting the massive Jaisalmer Fort, the second oldest fort in Rajasthan after Chittaur, Patwon ki Haveli, the grandest haveli of Jaisalmer, Desert Culture center and museums gives you some glimpse of this small townโ€™s past. The Jain temples meet your religious taste, Salim Singh ki haveli and Nathmal-ki-haveli give you some more idea of the haveli architecture of the town. Besides these, Gadsisar Lake is also an interesting spot to visit in this desert city.

Day 10: JAISALMER - JODHPUR

After breakfast depart by surface to Jodhpur. On arrival check-in at Hotel. Set at the edge of the Thar desert, the imperial city of Jodhpur echoes with tales of antiquity in the emptiness of the desert. Once the capital of the Marwar state, it was founded in 1459 A.D. by Rao Jodha-chief of the Rathore clan of Rajputs who claimed to be descendants of Rama - the epic hero of the Ramayana. While the graceful palaces, forts, and temples are strewn throughout the city bring alive the historic grandeur, exquisite handicrafts, folk dances music, and the brightly attired people lend a romantic aura to the city. The jumble of wide winding streets is flanked with pavement stalls.

Day 11: JODHPUR - KUMBHALGARH

Stop At: Jodhpur, Jodhpur, Jodhpur District, Rajasthan
After breakfast city tour visiting Jaswant Thada โ€“ A cluster of royal cenotaphs in white marble built-in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. Umaid Bhawan Palace โ€“ The only 20th-century palace built under the famine relief project that gave employment to famine struck population. The palace was completed in 16 years.

Afternoon departs by surface to Kumbhalgarh, upon arrival check-in at Hotel. Kumbhalgarh has one of the finest examples of defensive fortifications in the entire Rajasthan. There are several temples and a palace that is worth visiting. In addition, a stroll along the walls of the fort gives great panoramic views. Kumbhalgarh is a must-visit for anyone looking forward to experiencing the best of Rajasthani fort architecture. The Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary is situated to the west of the fort. The sanctuary has enabled the endangered wolf to breed and support besides providing shelter to the leopard, sloth, choosing, sambhar, hyena, flying squirrel, crocodiles, and a good number of bird species. Kumbhalgarh is situated at a distance of around 63 km from Udaipur.

Day 12: KUMBHALGARH - UDAIPUR

After breakfast starts the excursion of Kumbhalgarh visiting Kumbhalgarh Fort and Sanctuary.

Afternoon departs by surface to Udaipur. On arrival check-in at Hotel. Udaipur is a fascinating blend of sights, sounds, and experiences. Right from medieval times, the city has been an inspiration for poets, painters, and writers. Founded in 1559 and named after Maharana Udai Singh, Udaipur became the capital of the Sisodia dynasty whose earlier capital was Chittor. According to legend, the Maharana was out hunting one day when he met a holy man meditating on a hill overlooking the Lake Pichola. The hermit blessed the Maharana and told him to build a palace at that very spot, as it would be well protected. The Maharana followed the holy manโ€s advice and Udaipur came into being.

Day 13: IN UDAIPUR

After breakfast starts the city tour, If Jaipur is a city in pink, Udaipur is a study in white. The city is famous for its palaces, lake, museums, temples, and gardens. The City Palace and Museum is considered as the largest palace complex in Rajasthan and its museum has a stunning collection of objects collected by different Maharanas of Udaipur over the centuries. The Pichola Lake, Udai Sagar, and Pratap Sagar are some of the most beautiful lakes in the state. Some other attractions in the city are the Jagdish Temple, Saheliyon Ki Bari, Jag Mandir, Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir, Pratap Memorial, and Ahar Museum.
