      You will be greeted upon arrival at Victoria Falls Airport and transferred to your hotel. The transfer from Victoria Falls Airport to the hotels in Victoria Falls takes approximately 20 minutes.

      Victoria Falls is not only one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, but it is also the ultimate adventure hub of Africa, offering more than 50 different activities. Stretching 1,708 meters in width, Victoria Falls holds the record for the worldโ€™s largest sheet of falling water, plunging over 100 meters into the Zambezi Gorge below.

      Locally known as "Mosi-Oa-Tunya" or "The Smoke That Thunders," Victoria Falls is aptly named for the spectacular mist that rises from the falls, visible up to 30 kilometers away. The area includes two national parks: Zambezi National Park in Zimbabwe and Mosi-oa-Tunya Zoological Park in Zambia. These parks support a variety of wildlife, including large herds of elephants and buffalo, as well as smaller species and predators such as lions.

      This morning you are transferred from White River to your lodge in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, part of the Greater Kruger National Park. You have time to settle in at your lodge before you set off on the afternoon game drive.

      Transfer time: White River to Sabi Sand Reserve โ€“ approx 2 hours and 30 minutes

      Forming part of the Greater Kruger National Park, the Sabi Sand has no fences and the wildlife is able to cross freely between the Sabi Sands and the rest of the Greater Kruger National Park. Close encounters are guaranteed as the animals are not threatened by the presence of vehicles thanks to sound conservation management policies. Safaris are led by experienced rangers coupled with local Shangaan trackers. Exceptional sightings of leopard (usually the most elusive of cats), lion, rhino, elephant and buffalo during 4x4 open vehicle game drives (morning and evening/night). At most lodges, safari walks with an armed guide are also part of your exhilarating game viewing experience.
