This pleasant town is the perfect place for "acclimatization". Health specialists strongly suggest we spend the day being active rather than sitting idle. From Namche, we will take a short hike to Everest View Resort, Thame, visiting Khunde, or rest and explore Namche Bazaar. Namche Bazaar has government offices, ATMs, internet cafes, shops, restaurants, bakery, and a vibrant market each Friday evening and Saturday. Even a short trek of a few hundred meters will help us to correctly acclimatize. We will also head to the Tourist Visitor Center close to the headquarters of the Sagarmatha National Park where we can examine an assortment of relics linked to the first mountaineers to climb Everest, Sherpa culture, and also learn about the varied plant and animal life in this region.
