  • Day 2 Exploring Marrakech:

      Exploring Marrakech:

      After breakfast in your Riad, you can start exploring Marrakech โ€ the red city of Moroccoโ€ and your guide will ensure that you see the most important places of historical and cultural interest, including the Saadian tombs, the Palaces of El Bahia and El Badi and the Ben Youssef Coranic school. Lunch is at a restaurant near the square, then in the afternoon weโ€™ll visit the gardens at Majorelle, Menara and the Koutoubia tower. Overnight in Hotel/Riad.

  • Day 3 Marrakech โ€“ Tizi Ntichka Pass โ€“ Ouarzazate

      After breakfast in your Riad, youโ€™ll travel to Ouarzazate via the dramatic Tizi Ntichka Pass and the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. Ait Ben Haddou village was built by the last Berber chieftain El Glaoui Ethami in late 19th century. The Kasbah is recognised as a UNESCO matrimonial historical site and is still a house of many Glaoui family members. After lunch weโ€™ll continue to Ouarzazate, โ€œthe Hollywood of Africaโ€, where you have the option to visit and see many props used in movies you may already have seen such as Gladiator, and Alexander the Great. Overnight accommodation will be in a hotel in Ouarzazate. Overnight in our Hotel/Riad. Dinner Bed and breakfast.

  • Day 4 Ouarzazate โ€“ Skoura โ€“ Dades Valley: 180Km.

      After breakfast in the hotel, weโ€™ll leave to explore the fascinating Dades and Rose Valleys. Your first stop will be at Skoura to walk within the Birds Valley and visit the beautiful and well preserved Kasbah of Ameridil. Then weโ€™ll continue to the village of Kalaa Mโ€™gouna, famous for its roses and rose products.


      A rose festival is held here every May, when the roses are harvested. Since this is the road of the thousands Kasbahs youโ€™ll have plenty of opportunities to take some beautiful pictures. Our journey continues to the Dades Gorge where youโ€™ll enjoy seeing the amazing Rock formation called โ€œthe monkey Toesโ€ and the standing Kasbah of Kasbah Ait yul. After that weโ€™ll drive to the hotel. Overnight in our Hotel/Riad. Dinner bed and breakfast.

  • Day 5 Dades Gorge โ€“ Todra Gorge โ€“ Merzouga: 250Km.

      After breakfast in the hotel, weโ€™ll leave for Merzouga via the Todra Gorge and Rissani. After the town of Tinghir, weโ€™ll arrive at the Todra Gorge, the narrowest and the highest in the region taking in the panoramic views of the old mud Berber villages overlooking the valley.


      Lunch is at a restaurant under 200m high red cliff of the gorge. In the afternoon the tour continues to Erfoud and Rissani then through the open black desert to the village Merzouga where youโ€™ll be welcomed with a glass of mint tea before checking in to your Riad. Overnight in our Hotel/Riad. Bed Dinner and Breakfast.

  • Day 6 Merzouga Area And The Camel Trek:

      Merzouga Area And The Camel Trek:

      After breakfast in your hotel, weโ€™ll start exploring the area. Youโ€™ll visit the Gnawa people, originally slaves brought from Sudan, to experience their music and lifestyle and the lake of Merzouga, with its bird populations. You may also want to visit the nomad wire house where many Berber handicrafts are priced lower than in the big cities.


      In the afternoon itโ€™s time for your camel trek, ably guided by an experienced camel man where youโ€™ll explore the sand sea of Merzouga. Dinner in front of the tent where youโ€™ll spend the night (the camp in equipped with flash-toilets and shower).

  • Day 7 Merzouga Area โ€“ Ziz Valley โ€“ Errachidia

      Early in the morning, your camelman will wake you up early in the morning to watch what well may be the best sunrise of your life.

      Afterwards youโ€™ll be guided back to your Riad in Merzouga appreciating the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes โ€“ changing with the light as the day progresses. After a shower youโ€™ll start exploring the area around the Erg Chebbi, visiting the nomads in their tents, the fossil fields and the souk at Rissani, the foundation of the Alaouit Dynasty, the current ruling family in Morocco.


      Risani is an authentic city full of veiled women and conversations. Your journey continues along the magnificent Ziz Gorges carved through volcanic rock to Errachidia where youโ€™ll stop for the night. Overnight in our Hotel/Riad.

  • Day 8 : Errachidia โ€“ Midelt โ€“ Azrou โ€“ Ifrane โ€“ Fes: 320Km.

      After breakfast in your hotel weโ€™ll leave for Fes via Azrou and Ifrane. Stopping en-route in Azrou, in the middle Atlas mountains, in the Cedar forest there, youโ€™ll have the opportunity to see the Barbarian apes in their natural habitat. Then weโ€™re on to Ifrane โ€œthe French villageโ€orโ€ the Switzerland of Moroccoโ€. Finally arriving in Fes, with overnight accommodation in our Hotel/Riad .

  • Day 9 Exploring Fes:

      Exploring Fes:

      Most of the day will be spent visiting the medina (the old city) and its alleys โ€“ including the famous tanneries and the Quaraouine mosque. Your visit here includes the Jewish headquarter and the royal palace. After lunch in a typical Moroccan restaurant in the Medina, youโ€™ll visit the Merinid tombs and experience a wonderful panoramic view of the city. The afternoon brings a short walk in the new city before returning to your Riad.

  • Day 10 Fes โ€“ Meknes โ€“ Volubilis โ€“ Ouazzan โ€“ Chefchaouen:

      After breakfast in your Riad, youโ€™ll travel to Chefchaouen via Meknes and Volubilis. In Meknes you will see the famous Bab Mansour gate, the Sahrij Souani basin and the Mausoleum. Your tour will continue to the Roman site of Volubilis where youโ€™ll see some beautiful Mosaic dating to 25BC. Then weโ€™re on to Chefchaouen. Overnight in our Hotel/Riad.

  • Day 11 Exploring Chefchaouen:

      Exploring Chefchaouen:

      After breakfast in your Riad you can start exploring the Medina of Chefchaouen; a beautiful unique city with its white washed walls and its blue doors and windows. Unlike many parts of Morocco, this city was occupied by Spain and the influences of Spanish civilisation and architecture are all around. Youโ€™ll also have the opportunity to meet locals and walk in this beautiful Medina. Overnight in our Hotel/Riad.

  • Day 12 Chefchaouen โ€“ Tangier
