You’ll begin your tour at Tokyo`s oldest and most prominent temple, the majestic Senso-Ji. Steeped in tradition dating back over fourteen hundred years, Senso-Ji remains a cherished symbol of both Asakusa and Tokyo.

Then you’ll visit the Tokyo Skytree – a remarkable telecommunications tower standing proud at an astounding height of 634 meters! This iconic city landmark forms the epicenter of the Tokyo Skytree Town in the Sumida City ward near Asakusa. With its towering stature, the Skytree used to be the tallest building globally until 2019, and now ranks second. Tokyo Skytree is also home to a massive shopping complex and an impressive aquarium, both located in its base.

Then, you’ll venture to Akihabara. Often referred to as "Electric Town," it is Tokyo’s premier district for electronics, as well as a popular hub for immersing oneself in anime and manga culture.

You’ll then get to explore the Tokyo National Museum, which houses an extensive collection of over 100,000 art and archaeological artifacts, including nearly a hundred national treasures. The museum showcases around 4,000 different items from its permanent collection, with regular temporary exhibitions.

We’ll begin the day at teamLab Planets Tokyo, an innovative art experience curated by the renowned art collective, teamLab. Boasting cutting-edge technology like projection and motion capture, its immersive and genre-defying galleries have made it one of Tokyo’s top tourist attractions.

We’ll also visit Meiji Jingu Shrine, Tokyo’s largest and most influential spiritual site. Located just beside the JR Yamanote Line’s busy Harajuku Station, the Shrine and the adjacent Yoyogi Park make up a large forested area within the densely built-up city. The spacious shrine grounds offer walking paths that are great for a relaxing stroll.

Shibuya Crossing is a must-visit for any trip to Tokyo. This sprawling intersection just outside Shibuya Station is covered with lights and massive billboards, a national symbol of Tokyo, and the sight of watching 1,000 people cross at a time makes it a one-of-a-kind experience. The nearby Shibuya Center Gai which is home to hundreds of shops, bars and restaurants, some which give you access to a stunning view of the crossing from up high.

Finally, we’ll end the day at the Hachiko Statue: put up to honor the faithful dog who waited at Shibuya Station every day for his master, even after his death, and one of the most popular tourist spots in Tokyo.

Today we’ll head to Yokohama Chinatown (Yokohama Chūkagai). Japan’s largest Chinatown, a large number of Chinese stores and restaurants can be found in the narrow and colorful streets of Chinatown. Various events and festivals such as Chinese New Year around the beginning of February are also held at Chinatown.

Next, you’ll visit the Cup Noodles Museum, which is designed to stir the creativity and curiosity within every child and provide a rich educational experience. Through the museum’s many exhibits, you’ll learn about this beloved meal and about Momofuku Ando, the founder of Nissin Food Products and inventor of instant Ramen.

Completing the day, you’ll check out the mighty Odawara Castle. Built in the mid-15th century and known as a major base for one of the most powerful clans during the Warring States Era, it has been rebuilt and stands tall as the most prominent castle near the Tokyo area and a majestic feat of traditional Japanese architecture.

Owakudani, a remnant of a volcanic eruption 4,000 years ago, still showcases bursts of white smoke and the unmistakable scent of sulfur. Then, you’ll visit the Toyota Kaikan Museum. Located inside the Toyota Motor Corporation headquarters, this museum sheds light on the automaker’s rich heritage, cutting-edge manufacturing techniques, and steadfast principles. As soon as you step inside, you’ll be immersed in a world of interactive exhibits, multimedia presentations, and educational displays that bring Toyota’s legacy to life. From the birthplace of the first Toyota vehicle to the latest breakthroughs in safety and environmental technology, the museum offers a thrilling journey that celebrates the company’s commitment to excellence, innovation, and social responsibility.

Finally, you’ll conclude your day at SCMAGLEV and Railway Park: the official railway museum of Central Japan Railways (JR Central). You’ll be educated on the advances in high-speed rail technology in Japan and features displays a number of real trains & train cars, including historic steam locomotives, a shinkansen (bullet train) prototype, and the latest magnetic levitating trains (maglev), and plenty of exhibits geared towards children too!

Today you’ll visit the stunning Higashi Honganji Temple. An incredible feat of traditional Japanese architecture, it was built in 1602 and located near Nishi Honganji Temple. These two enormous temples once formed a united complex before being separated during feudal times due to concerns over political influence. Higashi Honganji continues to invite visitors from all over the globe and maintains a significant role within Japan’s religious landscape as the head temple of the Otani faction of Jodo-shin Buddhism, and houses the Goeido: one of the world’s largest wooden structures, and the nearby Amidado Hall.

Next, you’ll visit Sanjusangendo which is the popular name for Rengeo-in, a temple in eastern Kyoto which is famous for its 1001 statues of Kannon, the goddess of mercy of Japanese Buddhism. It is also home to a wooden statue of a 1000-armed Kannon (Senju Kannon) which is flanked on each side by 500 statues of human sized 1000-armed Kannon standing in ten rows.

Then, you’ll experience the grand Nishiki Market: a narrow, five block long shopping street lined by more than one hundred shops and restaurants. Known as "Kyoto’s Kitchen", this lively market specializes in fresh seafood, produce, knives and cookware, and is a great place to find plenty of Kyoto specialties such as Japanese sweets, pickles, dried seafood and sushi.

Finally, you’ll relax and unwind at with a Kimono and Tea Ceremony. You’ll don traditional kimonos during and be guided through the tea ceremony guided by an expert tea master. You’ll gain insights into the history, etiquette, and significance of the ceremony, and participate in making matcha green tea under their guidance.

Today you’ll visit the Fushimi Inari Shrine, which is an important Shinto shrine in southern Kyoto. It is famous for its thousands of vermilion torii gates, which straddle a network of trails behind its main buildings. The trails lead into the wooded forest of the sacred, 233-meter-tall Mount Inari.

Ujigami Shrine is believed to be the oldest standing shrine in Japan. Although there is no official record of when it was first constructed, experts estimate that Ujigami Shrine was well established by 1060. It was closely linked to Byodoin Temple as its "guardian shrine". Uji is famous for its green tea. While Kozanji Temple in Kyoto is believed to be the original site of tea cultivation in Japan, Uji’s tea became better known for its superior quality in the 1100s.

Then, we’ll take you down to the town of Uji, famous for its high-quality macha tea and the earliest place where green tea was first cultivated in Japan. We’ll take you down to Byodoin Omotesando, a street that is packed with tea and dessert shops filled with treats made out of Uji’s matcha.

There is a Street full of matcha, and you can shop here for souvenirs.Look on the front of a Japanese 10 yen coin and you’ll see Byodoin Temple’s famous Hou-ou-do Hall, also known as Amida Hall or Phoenix Hall. This building is one of the country’s most well-known examples of Buddhist architecture and the only original structure of the Byodoin Temple complex that remains today.
