After breakfast, you will be picked up at your hotel by our Best Tour Guide and drive to Tarangire National Park. In 1970, the national park emerged from a former colonial hunting ground. He has a
very diverse animal world, not least because of its size, which corresponds to approximately Luxembourg. The park is home to one of the largest elephant populations in the north of Tanzania, but is also home to many other wild animals. With some luck you can spot lions, cheetahs or leopards. The landscape of the park is very diverse. Especially the huge baobab trees, which are located close together in the north eastern sector of the park, are particularly impressive. After an extensive game drive you stay overnight at Angโata Camps in the Park.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park for a full day of game drive

Lake Manyara National Park nests at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, the park is recognized for its incredible beauty. Wildlife at Lake Manyara is not restricted to birdlife only. Many
game animals such as Buffalo, Elephant, Giraffe, Impala, hippo and a great variety of smaller animals also inhabit the park. Lake Manyara is also renown for its tree-climbing lions which spend most of the day spread out along the branches of acacia trees six to seven metres above the ground. The park contains the most
pachyderms per km sq. in Tanzania. As visitors enter the gate, they pass into the lush forest, home to troops of baboons and blue monkeys. Buffalo and hippo lurch in the adjacent Hippo Pool. The
vegetation eventually merges into flat topped acacia woodland where, in the heat of the day entire prides of lion can be seen stretched on the branches of these trees โ a habit prevalent to Manyara lions. Along with these amazing tree-climbing lions there are the usual browsers and grazers as well as the curios-looking banded mongoose. Two thirds of the park is dominated by the slightly alkaline lake which is home to a huge variety of waterbirds.

Day 4: Full Game Drive at Ngorongoro crater
Stop At: Ngorongoro Crater, Ngorongoro Conservation Area Tanzania
After any early breakfast our best guide will pick you up from the hotel and then you will start a journey straight up to the steep slopes of the East African Rift Valley to the Ngorongoro Crater. Afterwards it continues on rough roads about 600 meters downwards into the crater. The crater has a diameter of 17-21
kilometers and is the home of a great animal kingdom. Nearly all the biodiversity of the East African savannah is gathered here, only giraffes and a few other animal species for which the rock faces are
too steep do not live in the crater. Depending on the season, 15,000 to 25,000 animals are gathered here, more than two thirds are buffaloes, gnus, zebras and gazelles. This large number of grazers also explains why the crater contains the largest density of predators in Africa. Beside other predators, more than 100 lions live here in several prides. The chances of watching the "Big Five" lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard within just a few hours are particularly good. After lunch we drive up and out of the steep crater walls and then Straight to Serengeti.
