Itinerary:

Day 1ย 

Labrang

Arrive in Lanzhou, youโ€™ll be met by your local guide and driver at the airport before leaving for Labrang.

Day 2ย 

Ganja Grasslands and historical sites

Drive through the beautiful Ganja Grasslands to visit Bon Monastery which has aboutย  1000 years' history, ancient walled village Bajiao, and the impressive mountain monastery Trakkar Gompa.

Day 3ย 

Repgong

Tour around this large Tibetan town which is well-known for its intellectual experts in artists, especially Thangka painters.Visit two Thangka painting schools, and watch Losar Cham dance performance(spiritual dance) at the Lower Sengeshong Monastery, featuring splendid masks and costumes.

Day 4

ย 

Labrang

See the Giant thangka which is displayed at Lower Sengeshong Monastery. In the afternoon, drive to Labrang.

Day 5

ย 

Labrang

In the morning you can watch the giant Thangka displaying, and enjoy the whole views of the monastery and can overlook from the hill. and afterwards you can visit Labrang monastery, with around 45oo monks today studying at six colleges covering philosophy, medicine and astrology.

Day 6

ย  Aba (Ngawa)

Drive via a vast Muchu grassland and to cross the first bend of the Yellow River. Beofer arrived in Aba town you will see the local traditional architecture; in Aba area you can visit different monasteries to seeย  their Cham dances.

Day 7ย 

Aba (Ngawa)

Youโ€™ll have a bit of time to have relax in the morning before seeing the beautiful Yak butter sculpture display outside the monastery which starts from 5:00 pm to 3:30am. On this full moon day, Tibetans light aromatic plants and butter lanterns, the largest scale of a year.

Day 8ย ย  Aba (Ngawa)

An all day session of Cham (spiritual dance) performed at the Bon Monastery, which is one of the largest Bon monasteries in Tibet.

Day 9ย  LabrangThe Monlam great prayer festival from all over the Tibetan regions end.ย  And then enjoy the whole landscapeย  on the way back to Labrang.

Day 10ย  Labrang

Your last day, we will drop off you to the Lanzhou airport or train station according to your schedule time
