Wonders Of Mount Fuji Tour | West Lake Village, Oshino Hakkai, Narusawa Hyoketsu Ice Cave, Arakurayama Sengen Park

West Lake Village is located in the "West Lake" a display of Japan’s original scenery thatched cottage village. From the village you can see Mount Fuji in the distance, and the pointed roofs are covered with thick thatch. The village brook murmuring, birds singing flowers, seems to have come to Xanadu.Head to Oshino Hakkai is a touristy set of eight ponds in Oshino, a small village in the Fuji Five Lake region, The eight ponds are fed by snow melt from the slopes of nearby Mount Fuji that filters down the mountain through porous layers of lava for over 80 years, resulting in very clear spring water that is revered by the locals. The Narusawa Hyoketsu Ice Cave is located at the east entrance to the Aokigahara Jukai "sea of trees" forest, and is regarded as one of the tourist spots within the Fuji Five Lakes area that can be visited throughout the year. Over 1150 years ago, during year 6 of the Jogan era (864 a.d.), Nagaoyama, a flank volcano of Mt. Fuji erupted. The red hot lava flow (Aokigahara Maruo) descended between ancient parasitic volcanoes, creating this two-tunnel type cave.Arakurayama Sengen Park is one of the world-famous viewing spots of Mount Fuji. In springtime, the cherry blossoms in bloom create a spectacular view of a five-storied pagoda and Mount Fuji unique to Japan. Not only does the park offer splendid views of the mountain in respective seasons, but it also serves as a popular viewing spot for the beautiful night scenery of Fujiyoshida City.

    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

Kyoto Classic Tour | Higashi Honganji Temple, Nijo Castle, Kimono And Tea Ceremony Experience

Unlike many sightseeing locations, Higashi Honganji Temple is still an influential place in modern religious practices, situated just east of another spot of interest, Nishi Honganji Temple. They functioned as a single temple complex, in fact, until shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu split them into east (higashi) and west (nishi) because he was afraid that as a single entity, their political power would grow too great.

Nijo Castle:Nijo Castle (Nijōjō) was built in 1603 as the Kyoto residence of Tokugawa Ieyasu, the first shogun of the Edo Period (1603-1867). His grandson Iemitsu completed the castle’s palace buildings 23 years later and further expanded the castle by adding a five story castle keep. After the Tokugawa Shogunate fell in 1867, Nijo Castle was used as an imperial palace for a while before being donated to the city and opened up to the public as a historic site. Its palace buildings are arguably the best surviving examples of castle palace architecture of Japan’s feudal era, and the castle was designated a UNESCO world heritage site in 1994.

Kimono and Tea Ceremony Experience:Kyoto Tea Ceremony in Japan is one of the best and memorable experiences you can have! Kimonos would normally be worn during traditional tea ceremonies.  Our expert tea master and host, and friendly staff will demonstrate the process during the tea ceremony while explaining the significance behind it the steps and the tools. You will get to learn about tea ceremony history, Kyoto, and tea ceremony etiquette.  During the tea ceremony, you will not only observe how to make matcha green tea but you will also be guided on the process of making your own by the tea master. You will be using high-quality matcha powder that will produce a brilliant cup of green matcha.

Toei Kyoto Studio Park:The Toei Uzumasa Eigamura (Tōei Uzumasa Eigamura; also known as Kyoto Studio Park) is a film set and theme park in one. Essentially a small town from the feudal ages, the park features a collection of various traditional buildings which are occasionally used as a backdrop for filming historical movies and television dramas. The park includes entire streets depicting town scenes, including a replica of the old Nihonbashi Bridge, a traditional court house, a Meiji Period police box and part of the former Yoshiwara red light district. Park attendants dressed in historic costumes add to the atmosphere of the town. Actual filming takes place occasionally in various parts of the park, and visitors are welcome to observe the action.

Uji Excursion&Stay In Osaka | Fushimi Inari Shrine, Ujigami Shrine, Street Full Of Matcha, Byodoin Temple

Fushimi Inari Shrine/Red Torii Gates is an important Shinto shrine in southern Kyoto.  It is famous for its thousands of vermilion torii gates, which straddle a network of trails behind its main buildings.  The trails lead into the wooded forest of the sacred Mount Inari, which stands at 233 meters and belongs to the shrine grounds. Ujigami Shrine is believed to be the oldest standing shrine in Japan. Although there is no official record of when it was first constructed, experts estimate that Ujigami Shrine was well established by 1060. It was closely linked to Byodoin Temple as its "guardian shrine".Uji is famous for its green tea.  While Kozanji Temple in Kyoto is believed to be the original site of tea cultivation in Japan, Uji’s tea became better known for its superior quality in the 1100s.There is a Street full of matcha, and you can shop here for souvenirs.Look on the front of a Japanese 10 yen coin and you’ll see Byodoin Temple’s famous Hou-ou-do Hall, also known as Amida Hall or Phoenix Hall. This building is one of the country’s most well-known examples of Buddhist architecture and the only original structure of the Byodoin Temple complex that remains today.

Osaka Highlights Tour | Ninja Experience, Osaka Castle, Shinsekai Streets&Tsutenkaku Tower, Zaou Fishing Restaurant

Osaka Castle:The construction of Osaka Castle ( Ōsakajō) started in 1583 on the former site of the Ishiyama Honganji Temple, which had been destroyed by Oda Nobunaga thirteen years earlier. Toyotomi Hideyoshi intended the castle to become the center of a new, unified Japan under Toyotomi rule. It was the largest castle at the time.

Osaka Museum of History:The Osaka Museum of History aims to develop a variety of activities based on the historic and cultural heritage cultivated in this region for people in Osaka as well as for all visitors. In doing so, we will take advantage of our experience over the past five years to present a broader point of view on history in our activities. Our programs will aim to develop a deeper understanding of the city’s history and to think about our present society and culture together with our visitors, while cherishing the “dialogue with history”, in order to help create a better future.

Umeda Sky Building:The ultramodern Umeda Sky Building is a landmark of Osaka’s Kita Ward. It sprouted up at the end of Japan’s economic bubble in 1993. Head to the uniquely designed observation deck for a picture-perfect view of the expansive cityscape.

Zaou Fishing Restaurant:The restaurant chain where you can catch your own dinner. At the Osaka branch you’re greeted by a giant, boat-shaped seating area, and surrounding that is a moat teeming with all kinds of fish. Once you’re seated, you’ll be handed a fishing rod and some bait, after which you’re free to go fish. Bear in mind: there’s no such thing as ’catch and release’ here. If you caught it, you bought it.
