This tour includes:

Accommodation

Standard twin-sharing accommodation in a three-star hotel in Kathmandu (1 night only) and Pokhara (2 nights only) including breakfast Basic guesthouse accommodation during the trek in twin-share and dormitory-style rooms (7 nights only)

Meals

Three meals a day during the trek (breakfast, lunch, and dinner)

Others

Annapurna conservation area trekking permits and entrance fees. (ACAP permits and TIMS card) Down jackets-sleeping bags and comprehensive medical kits. An arrangement of emergency evacuation service (should have insurance for emergency evacuation and will be paid by your travel insurance company)

  • Day 1 Day 1: Drive From Kathmandu To Pokhara (8,50M) Duration 6-7 Hours.

      A representative from Sherpa Expedition & Trekking will pick you up from your hotel in the morning and take you to the tourist bus station. We will then travel to Pokhara, Nepalโ€™s second-largest city situated next to Phewa Tal (lake). From Pokhara, you have some fantastic views of Annapurna, Machapuchare (Fishtail) in the north, Dhaulagiri in the west, Lamjung Himal, and Manaslu in the east. 

  • Day 2 Day 2: Drive To Nayapul & Trek To Ghandruk (1990 M) Duration 6-7 Hours.

      Today we have a 3-hour drive from Pokhara to Kimche via Nayapul and Birethanti (a tourist checkpoint). We then follow the trail to Kimche, passing through the charming villages of Sauli Bazaar and Chane. We then have to cross the Khumnu Khola (river) before arriving at the Gurung town of Ghandruk where we will stay overnight. At Ghandruk we have wonderful views of Machapuchare (Fishtail 6993m)), Annapurna South (7219m), and Hiunchuli (6441m).

  • Day 3 Day 3: Trek To Chhomrong (2210 M) Duration 5-6 Hours.

      Our second day on the trail starts with a trek to Chomrong Village which is the last settlement before the gateway of Annapurna base camp. The trail heads down from the Ghandruk village to the Kyuri Khola and then follows the trail before arriving at Kimrong Danda. Along this trail, we will pass through terraced farmlands before arriving at the Gurung village of Chomrong (2170m).

  • Day 4 Day 4: Trek To Bamboo (2350 M) Duration 5-6 Hours.

      This morning we trudge down 2500 stone steps and then cross the bridge above Chomrong Khola and then climb up to Sinuwa Village. The next leg of the trail takes us through a  forest to Khuldighar before an easy descent to Bamboo Village.

      We start the day trekking through a bamboo forest then steadily head higher with some parts relatively steep. After reaching Himalaya Hotel the trail leaves the forest and we have views of the cold river below. Next we have a steep climb through more forest before coming to Hinku Cave. The trail then descends again to the river before ascending once more to Deurali. The vegetation thins-out and allows some fantastic views down into the valley and river below, and the vertical cliffs above with waterfalls cascading down. 

  • Day 6 Day 6: Trek To Annapurna Base Camp (4130 M) Duration 5-6 Hours.

      This morning we follow the trail across a riverbed and then along a steep trail from Bagar to Machapuchare Base Camp. From Machapuchare Base Camp we have some awesome views of Machapuchare, Mt. Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, Gandharvachuli and Gangapurna. The vegetation is sparse as we head higher on our way to ABC. From here we have breathtaking views of the close to the vertical south face of Annapurna soaring above us. The sanctuary boasts of having 360-degree panorama views and we can see Machapuchare, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Hiunchuli, and other snow-covered mountains.

  • Day 7 Day 7: Trek To Bamboo (2335 M) Duration 5-6 Hours.

      Leaving Annapurna Base Camp we retrace our steps on the trail to Bamboo. Fortunately, the trail is mostly downhill that makes is easier to negotiate. On the way down we can look out over an incredible landscape before coming to Bamboo Village.

  • Day 8 Day 8: Trek To Jhinu Danda (Hot Water Springs) (1780 M) Duration 6-7 Hours.

      This morning we leave Bamboo and after a short climb reach Sinuwa Village (2320m) and then Chomrong. We will stop for a short break at Chomrong before initially heading uphill and then a descent to Jhinu Danda. This is a great time to sit back and relax those sore muscles in the therapeutic hot spring situated just below the Modi River. 

  • Day 9 Day 9: Trek To Nayapul And Then Drive To Pokhara (8,50M) Duration 5-6 Hours.

      This morning we follow the trail to Nayapul and then take a bus back to Pokhara. The bus trip is about 1.5 hours.

  • Day 10 Day 10: Drive Back To Kathmandu(1,350M) Duration 6-7 Hours.

      This morning we head back on a 6 to 7-hour road trip to Kathmandu with many warm memories of our trek to Annapurna Base Camp in Nepal and its exceptional culture and geography. These memories will be with you forever.
