Day 1: In Taipei: enjoy Taiwan’s original bubble milk tea

Stop At: Dihua Street, Datong District, Datong, Taipei 103 Taiwan
Go back in time at Dadaocheng and visit a family-run tea roasting plant, one of the oldest tea factories on the island.

Go back in time & learn about the history of Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall from your knowledgeable tour guide

Explore modern-day bubble milk tea (“boba”) at the first bubble tea shop in Taiwan, including bubble milk tea DIY and tasting.

Day 2: From Taipei to Miaoli and Taichung: experience Hakka tea culture

Stop At: Sheng Sing Station Long Teng Bridge, No. 89, Shengxing, Shengxing Vil., Sanyi Township, Sanyi 367 Taiwan
Check out the wooden Japanese colonial era Shengxing Railway Station and get on an old mountain line railbike to enjoy a scenic "train ride" through cultural relics featuring a renovated train powered by bicycles, enabling you to experience the beauty of Sanyi's mountain culture

Learn how to make the savory and edible “thunder tea,” a.k.a. "Leicha," with a subminority group in Taiwan (Admission included)

After cycling through cultural relics, head to Taichung and enjoy traditional Taiwanese food & local delicacies at Taichung’s Fengjia Night Market

Day 3: From Taichung to Sun Moon Lake

Take an electric boat, luxurious boat ride across Taiwan's largest and most beautiful lake and enjoy great scenery. Then, tour a quaint tea factory and enjoy a tasting of Sun Moon Lake's world-renowned artisan black tea while gaining a deep understanding of the region's devoted tea culture.

Day 4: In Nantou: The eco-cha founder will take you to visit high mountain tea to Chiayi

Try Eco-Cha’s organic tea and take a tour by Andy Kincart, founder of Eco-Cha to his recommended high mountain farm and tea factory (admission included,) and enjoy lunch surrounded by the beautiful scenery at Lugu high mountain

Head to a traditional town in Taiwan whose food was featured by Netflix & try traditional Taiwanese snacks at the Chiayi night market

Day 5: From Chiayi to Alishan

Stop At: Alishan, Alishan, Chiayi County
Enter the Alishan National Park and handpick tea at a local tea farm with breathtaking views (admission included.) After tea leaf picking, take a leisurely hike through the park's verdant natural forest, enjoying Taiwan's mountainous terrain that supports ideal tea growing conditions before witnessing an unforgettable sunset at Alishan.

Day 6: From Alishan to Tainan

Stop At: Alishan National Forest Recreation Area, No. 59, Zhongzheng Vil., Zhongzheng Vil., Alishan Township, Alishan Taiwan
In the morning, we’ll get up early and hop on the Alishan Forest Railway to catch a glimpse of the area’s famed “sea of clouds” that appear in the hours around dawn, and explore thousand-year-old ancient Taiwan cypress trees along trails of the Alishan Forest Recreation Area.

Stop At: Tainan, Tainan
Afterward, we’ll head to Tainan, Taiwan's oldest city to learn about the island's history dating all the way back to the Dutch and Portuguese colonial periods, embark on a Tainan Cultural Heritage tour, and furthermore, try Tainan's famous bites at the city's "Old Street."

Day 7: From Tainan to Pingtung: explore the tea from the Pacific Ocean

Tour Taiwan's most southern tea farm next to the Pacific Ocean and taste how the tea leaves and local snacks are influenced by the neighboring seawater, producing a unique flavored tea (admission included)

Day 8: From Pingtung to Taitung

Stop At: Pingtung, Pingtung
Fun in the sun on the beach until 10:30 am and then try Indigenous cuisine with a local tribe (Lunch included) before enjoying a picturesque drive along the Pacific Ocean

Visit a local tea farmer's tea house and tour his all-natural tea farm before cycling through the beautiful Chishang rice farms (admission included)

Day 9: From Taitung to Taroko Gorge

Absorb the unique topography of the East Rift Valley during the drive to Taroko Gorge

Day 10: From Hualien back to Taipei

Stop At: Taroko National Park, No.291, Fushi Fushi Vil., Xiulin 97253 Taiwan
On our tour’s final day we’ll start slowly, allowing guests an hour or so after breakfast in the world-renowned Taroko National Park to continue to enjoy the facilities at the Taroko Silk before heading out to tour the gorge itself. We’ll spend the rest of the morning visiting the temples and shrines of the gorge, and, weather permitting, taking a hike to the Baiyang waterfall.

Pass By: Qingshui Cliff, Su-hua highway from Herping to Chungte, Xiulin 97253 Taiwan
After lunch, we’ll head back towards the coast through the gorge and drive along the picturesque Qingshui Cliff, the largest coastal cliff in Taiwan on the famous Suhua Highway coastal road, then returning to Taipei.
