Day 1: YANGON ARRIVAL

We will welcome you at Yangon airport by holding a signage including your name and transfer to the Hotel.

Day 2: YANGON FULL-DAY TOUR

Stop At: Sule Pagoda, Maha Bandoola Rd, Yangon (Rangoon) Myanmar
After breakfast at the hotel, our driver and English-speaking guide will pick you up at your hotel in the morning.
A full day tour to discover the colorful city of Myanmar with a close look at the local life of this historical city. By car and partly on foot this tour takes in the Sule pagoda in the middle of the city, walk around to see the Mahabandoola Park, the colonial courthouse and the city hall. From there walking tour around the colonial area with the historical buildings will start, breaking at a local teashop to enjoy Burmese food and tea and the typical atmosphere. Continue east passing a couple of alleyways crammed with food stalls and markets. You'll pass the High Court Building, the grand Inland Water Transport offices and even grander Myanmar Port Authority building until you'll reach Strand Road. Your next stop will be outside of the majestic Strand Hotel and walk along Strand Road until you'll see the Customs House and the Law Court, an impressive-looking colonial buildings and visit the bustling Yangon harbor.

Stop At: Bogyoke Aung San Market, Bo Gyoke Rd, Pabedan 11141 Myanmar
Visit Bogyoke Aung San Market and give opportunity to do some shopping (formerly Scottโ€™s market, closes on Monday and public holidays) with hundreds of food, clothes, handicrafts, and gems stores.

Stop At: Chaukhtatgyi Buddha, Shwegondine Road Bahan Township, Yangon (Rangoon) Myanmar
Heading to Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda to see a huge reclining Buddha image and also the most well-known Buddhist temple in Bahan Township. The reclining Buddha is amazing and there are fantastic vantage points throughout the building that allow unique perspectives on the shapes and colors of his pigmentation and other qualities.

Stop At: Kandawgyi Park, Yangon (Rangoon) Myanmar
An extended visit to Karawait Palace and Kandawgyi (Royal Lake) park.

Stop At: Shwedagon Pagoda, Yangon (Rangoon) Myanmar
Visit to one of the world's most spectacular monuments, the Shwedagon Pagoda: its golden stupa is the 'heart' of Myanmar. The pagoda is believed to be 2,500 years old and the central stupa is surrounded by dozens of intricately decorated buildings and statues. There are always many Myanmar people praying and making offerings at Shwedagon, and it's a fascinating place to spend time watching the world go by. Enjoy sunset and unforgettable experience an evening visit to Shwedagon Pagoda before departing on the overnight express Coach to Bagan.

Day 3: BAGAN ARRIVAL AND TOUR

Stop At: Shwezigon Paya, Bagan Myanmar
Arrive at Nyaung โ€“ U Bus Terminal, welcome by our tour guide and driver.
You will stroll through the marketplace of Nyaung U, and get a glimpse into the lifestyle of Burmese people.
An all-day visit to this huge area - a day full of culture. But we will avoid hectic tourism and will show you the most beautiful temples and pagodas, leisurely but in detail.
Visit Shwezigon Pagoda: One of the oldest stupas in Bagan area built by the great two kings Anawrahta and Kyanzittha. The Stupaโ€™s graceful bell shape became a prototype for virtually all later stupas over Myanmar. It is known as the site where the 37 pre-Buddhist nat were first officially endorsed Burma monarchy.

Stop At: Ananda Temple, Beside Anawrahta Road, Bagan 05232 Myanmar
Ananda Pahto: whose interior seems almost Gothic and is considered to be the most beautiful among all the temples of Bagan. Facing outward from the centre of the cube are four 9.5m standing Buddhas.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Htilominlo, Nyaung-U, Myanmar (Burma)
Htinlominlo Pahto: built by King Nantaungmya in 1218. Inside the 46m-high temple, there are four Buddhas on the lower and upper floors. Traces of old murals are also still visible.

Stop At: Dhammayangyi Temple, Bagan Myanmar
Dhammayangyi Temple: huge brick red temple built by King Narathu.
Enjoy wonderful sunset around the temples and then transfer to the hotel.

Day 4: BAGAN FULL DAY TOUR

Stop At: Minnanthu Village, Bagan Myanmar
After breakfast at the hotel, our driver and English-speaking guide will pick you up at your hotel in the morning.
Visit Minnanthu Village and Payarthonezu Temple Complex. Continue on visit Gubyaukgyi Temple admiring the fine stuccowork.

Stop At: Nanpaya Temple, Bagan - Chauk Rd, 2,Myin Ka Bar, Nyaung U, Bagan Myanmar
Nanpaya temple: built in the Mon style with intricate stone carvings, and said once to have been Manuha's residence.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Tharabar Gate, Bagan Myanmar
Tharabar Gate and Myinkaba Village to discover and learn the traditional lacquerware culture at the Lacquerware Workshop. You will see skilled workers creating the Burmese style lacquerware and produced some decorative items for tourists. From the Lacquerware Workshop, we will visit to Manuha Temple. You will learn some history of these temples built in centuries.
Enjoy the amazing sunset at the local cottage industries to see how palm juice is collected for the making of toddy wine and palm candies. Taste Myanmar green tea and traditional snacks, tea leaf salad.

Day 5: BAGAN โ€“ KALAW

Stop At: Kalaw, Kalaw, Shan State
Enjoy a scenic journey by an air-conditioned bus to an interesting drive up into the hills and across the Shan Plateau, through mountain fields to Kalaw and transfer to your hotel in Kalaw.

Day 6: TREK - KALAW TO VILLAGE STAY

Stop At: Kalaw, Kalaw, Shan State
Embark on a beautiful hike between Kalaw and Inle Lake. You'll stop off at various different villages during the trek, meeting locals from different ethnic tribes. Overnight at local village homestay on the hills, dinner prepared by the family we are staying with. Enjoy one of the best meals you will have in Myanmar!

Day 7: TREK - FROM KALAW TO INLE LAKE

Stop At: Kalaw, Kalaw, Shan State
Enjoy the traditional breakfast and continue with our stunning hike through the hills and rice paddy fields to Inle Lake. Transfer to your hotel at Naung Shwe (Inle Lake).

Day 8: INLE LAKE FULL-DAY TOUR

Stop At: Inle Lake, Nyaungshwe Myanmar
After breakfast at the hotel, our English-speaking guide will pick you up from your hotel in the morning.
Enjoy a boat trip on the lake and observe the beautiful surroundings en route to the floating market and floating gardens. Visit the rural but bustling five-day market and observe locals and several minority groups wearing traditional costumes trading farm produce such as vegetables, fruits, dried tea leaves as well as animals. The vibrant atmosphere of the market makes it a jolly experience. (The date of this special market is set by the local people and the location changes every 5 days; your guide will inform you of the exact location).
Visit to the southwest of the lake where Shwe Inn Dein pagoda complex is situated. Take the small covered path from the Pa O tribe village to a monastery and the very impressive ruins of hundreds of ancient pagodas, some hidden under vegetation. The main stupa-area on the top of the hill offers breathtaking views over the surroundings and into the valley with the lake in the far distance.
You will visit Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the most highly revered monastery in the Inle Lake area. Discover the traditional handicrafts lotus and silk weaving on wooden handlooms and the silver smith workshop.
Meet Kayan ethnic long-neck Padaung ladies and learn their traditional dress and culture.
On the lake, you can see traditional fishing methods by using the leg rowing technique. We proceed to the floating garden - Kyun-Hmyaw, which was built-up from strips of water hyacinth and mud, dredged from the lake bed, which breaks down into rich humus; it takes 50 years to produce a layer of 1m thick.
Relax and enjoy spectacular sunset views over Inle Lake before returning to your hotel.

Day 9: INLE LAKE - YANGON
