Day 1: Casablanca โ€“> Rabat

Stop At: Hassan II Mosque, Blvd Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdallah, Casablanca 20450 Morocco
Arrival at Casablanca airport โ€“ Our driver will pick you from the airport and time permitting, drive to Casablanca to visit the Hassan II Mosque, the largest Mosque outside Mecca. Drive to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. On the way, stop to see the Hassan Tower, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and walk the Kasbah Des Oudaia, also referred to as Kasbah Oudaya. Overnight accommodation at your Hotel or Riad.

Day 2: Rabat โ€“> Meknes โ€“> Fez

Stop At: Volubilis, Morocco
Have breakfast at your Hotel or Riad. Drive to Fez via Meknes and Volubilis. In Meknes, one of the four imperial cities of Morocco. Visit the Bab Mansour Gate, one of the most amazing gates in the world; the imperial Granaries and Stables the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. After lunch, your journey continues to the Roman city of Volubilis for a Guided tour of partially excavated Berber and Roman City of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage. Continue via the highway to Fez. Overnight accommodation at your Hotel or Riad.

Day 3: Explore Fez

Stop At: Medina of Fez, Fes 30000 Morocco
Breakfast at your Hotel or Riad. Explore Fez, known as the โ€œthe Spiritual City of Moroccoโ€ and walk through the Medina and its alleys. Visit cultural and historical sites including the famous Al-Karaouine Mosque and University (the oldest in the world), the Madrasa Bou Inania, the famous Tanneries and the Nejjarine Fountain. After lunch, travel outside the Medina and see the Royal Palace gate, walk through โ€œMellahโ€, the Jewish quarter and a short visit to the ceramic factory. Drive to one of the Fortresses to experience a panoramic view of the whole Medina of Fez. Overnight accommodation at your Hotel or Riad.

Day 4: Fez โ€“> Azrou โ€“> Midelt โ€“> Ziz Valley โ€“> Merzouga

Stop At: Ifrane National Park, Ifrane Morocco
Breakfast at your Hotel or Riad. Stop in Ifrane, referred to as โ€œthe Switzerland of Morocco.โ€ Enjoy stunning views of the Middle Atlas and High Atlas mountain while driving. Visit the famous Cedar Forest, the largest in Morocco. Lunch in Midelt and continue journey via Ziz Valley, stopping for panoramic views along the way. Drive through the Berber villages to Erfoud, and then Rissani, the foundation of the Alaouite dynasty โ€“ the current ruling royal family in Morocco. Overnight accommodation at your Hotel or Riad.

Day 5: Merzouga โ€“> Camel Trek to Desert Camp

Stop At: Merzouga Desert, Merzouga Morocco
Have breakfast at your Hotel or Riad. Visit the Gnawa (Gnaoua) people, originally slaves brought from West Africa and experience their music and lifestyles. See the lake of Merzouga with its bird populations and visit the souk in Rissani. Guided camel ride to explore the sand sea of Merzouga. Overnight at desert camp where you will have your dinner.

Day 6: Merzouga โ€“> Todgha Gorges โ€“> Dades Gorges

Stop At: Dades Gorges, R704 Atlas Mountains, Boumalne Dades 45350 Morocco
Enjoy an early morning spectacular view of the sunrise in the Sahara Desert. Camel trek back to the village of Merzouga, enjoying the spectacular view of Erg Chebbi sand dunes. Have breakfast at your Hotel or Riad. Drive to Dades Valley, and see the Todgha Gorges, the highest and narrowest Gorges in Morocco. After lunch, enjoy an optional hike through the fields and visit an old mud village, meet the locals and learn about the culture. Continue through Dades Valley and enjoy seeing majestic sand castles and the amazing rock formations known as โ€œmonkey toesโ€. Overnight at Hotel or Riad.

Day 7: Dades Valley โ€“> Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou โ€“> Tizi Nโ€™Tichka Pass โ€“> Marrakesh

Stop At: Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou, Douar Ait Ben Haddou, Ait Ben Haddou 45000 Morocco
Have breakfast at your Hotel. Drive through the Dades Valley towards Kalaat Mโ€™Gouna and Ouarzazate, the door of the desert. Enjoy numerous opportunities to take amazing photographs during the drive. Stop in Kalaat Mโ€™Gouna, โ€œthe City of Rosesโ€, to purchase the rosewater. Continue to Marrakesh via Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, the largest Kasbah in Morocco and a UNESCO world heritage site. Continue through Tizi Nโ€™Tichka Pass over the High Atlas Mountains before arriving at your Riad in Marrakesh. Overnight at Hotel or Riad.

Day 8: Explore Marrakesh

Stop At: Saadian Tombs, Rue De La Kasbah, Marrakech 40000 Morocco

Explore Marrakech โ€œthe Red City of Morocco.โ€ Guided tour of sites of historical and cultural interest, including the Jemaa el-Fna square, the Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadian tombs, the Palace of Bahia and the Ben Youssef Koranic School. Lunch at a restaurant near the square, then in the afternoon visit the Majorelle Gardens, and have a short visit to the new city of Marrakesh and the Koutoubia tower. Day 9: Day Trip to Essaouira

Stop At: Essaouira Beach, Essaouira Morocco
Have breakfast at your Hotel. Visit the Skala Fortress; see Thuya wood carved by artisans; walk through the alleys of the medina and view hundreds of handicrafts. Lunch in a Moroccan way with freshly bought seafood โ€˜cooked to orderโ€™. Enjoy some free time to wander around, go to the beach and enjoy time to yourselves. Essaouira is also referred to as the โ€œCity of the Windโ€ and it attracts surfers from all over the world. There is an annual Festival of โ€œGnawa musicโ€, where many musical groups come from different parts of Africa and the world. Usually, it starts in the second week of June.
