Day 1: Arrival of Sri Lanka and Transfer to Negombo

Stop At: Negombo, Negombo, Western Province
We will receive you from the Colombo airport and transfer to hotel in Negombo. Negombo is the nearest main city to the Airport. We have choosen this option as you may be arriving Sri Lanka after a long flight. Definitely you will require proper rest before starting the tour around Sri Lanka.

Beautiful Negombo beach is ideal for evening relaxation. You hotel in located on the beach and you do not require extra effort or extra time to go to beach.

Day 2: Explore the Fishing City and Travel to Sigiriya

Stop At: Negombo Fish Market, Negombo Sri Lanka
Negombo is one of the most famous place for fishing in Sri Lanka. Negombo fish market starts the day around 3.00 am and continues for the whole day. Fishermen meet the buyers here for their harvest. Also fish sellers come here to purchase fish at bargain prices. Also you will see the people engaged in dry fish business. A busy place. Worth visiting.

Stop At: Negombo Lagoon, Negombo Sri Lanka
Negombo is an area controlled by dutch for some hundreds of years. Tunnel network built by them are still exist. Boat tour on dutch tunnel to the Negombo lagoon is one popular activity available here. You will be taken through the negombo lagoon area. A beautiful place and you will be able to get an insight about the mangrove and the bio diversity of this special area.

A tour /visit through a traditional Sri Lankan village will give you the opportunity learn about life style of conventional Sri Lankan. The way they cook, different varieties of food items, day today activities etc. You will be given a chance to prepare a local meal (Cookery demonstration ) and a complimentary Sri Lankan lunch will be offered at the end.

Day 3: Sigirya Lions Rock Fortress and the Safari Tour

Stop At: Sigiriya The Ancient Rock Fortress, Sigiriya 21120 Sri Lanka
Considered as the 8th Wonder of the world. What a beautiful creation by Sri Lankan kings who lived some thousand years back. A place you would not miss during your tour in Sri Lanka. We advise travelers to start the climb early as possible as it will be hot and when it reaches the noon.

Another rock located close to the Sigiriya rock fortress. This is a place with a great history. Specially the young travelers prefer this as the view from the top is magnificent.

Day 4: Dambulla Cave Temples and Travel to Kandy

Day 5: Day in Beautiful Kandy, the last Kingdom of Sri Lanka

Also known as Athur's seat. A beautiful place where you can over look the entire Kandy city. More beautiful in evening hours. There are some nice restaurants located near by and you can plan your dinner too at the same place.

A man made lake / tank located on the middle of the Kandy city. Walk around the lake is an ideal activity for an evening. This is a land mark for Kandy. Your hotel is located within walking distance to the lake round.

Day 6: Hillcountry of Sri Lanka and Scenic Train Journey

Stop At: Damro Labookellie Tea Centre and Tea Garden, A5, Nuwara Eliya 22200 Sri Lanka
We will be leaving Kandy around 8.00 am and reach the Tea Estate and the tea factory as the first attraction of the day. This is an ideal place to witness the tea making process with the live tea plucking and the factory process. You will be offered a complementary cup of tea to taste the real Ceylon tea.

Stop At: Ramboda Waterfall, Pussellawa Sri Lanka
One of the most beautiful waterfalls available in Sri Lanka. You can see it from the main road or either walk near the falls.

Pass By: Nuwara Eliya, Nuwara Eliya, Central Province
This is the capital of the upcountry of Sri Lanka and we call it Little England due to its unique climate, British influences in architecture and building etc.

Stop At: Gregory Lake, Nuwara Eliya Sri Lanka
A beautiful lake located in the middle of Nuwaraeliya city. Also it's a recreation park with activities including boat rides, horse rides etc

Stop At: Nanu Oya railway station, Avissawella - Hatton - Nuwara Eliya Hwy, Nuwara Eliya 22200 Sri Lanka
This is the station where we will pick the train for the scenic train ride. We will have the advanced booked reserved seats for your trip. Train leaves Nanuoya station at 12.40 pm. Vehicle will be traveling to Ella with your luggage and pick you there on arrival

Pass By: Ella, Ella, Uva Province
Vehicle will be awaiting your arrival at the Ella railway station. Pick you from the station and transfer to the hotel.
Evening you can come back to the city and enjoy some good vibes. Ella has a competitively better night light than the other cities of Sri Lanka. Good restaurants, Pub etc available

Day 7: Day in Beautiful Ella

Stop At: Little Adam's Peak, Passara Road, Ella 90090 Sri Lanka
A beautiful hill top and ideal place if you love to experience the sunrise. Have to leave the hotel around 5.30 am if you wish to witness the sunrise. Otherwise we can come later.

Stop At: Nine Arches Bridge, Ella Sri Lanka
A place you should not miss during your holiday in Sri Lanka. This is one of the most photographed places in Sri Lanka by travelers due to it's unique design and the beautiful scenery created when the train travels on it.

Stop At: Ravana Ella Falls, Ella-Wellawaya Road, Ella 90090 Sri Lanka
A beautiful & one of the biggest waterfalls in Sri Lanka located close to the main road and the Ella city.
Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Ella Rock, Ella Main Street NECS-Nature Exploration and Conservation Society Sri Lanka, Ella 90090 Sri Lanka
A hill top and a god view point to see the entire Ella city. This is an optional hike. You can decide as per your preference.

Pass By: Galle, Galle, Galle District, Southern Province
We will be traveling towards Galle from Ella. Galle is the capital of the southern coastal area of Sri Lanka. A beautiful place. You will be checked into the hotel located on the beach.

Day 8: Whale Watching and Beach Time

Stop At: Mirissa Whales, No:39 mihiriwella Road, Mirissa 81740, Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka is very famous for whales. Depending on the season, a large number of whales can be seen in the southern beach of Sri Lanka. Mirissa is the ideal place for it. Sometime you will be able to see the very rare blue whales too. We will have to leave the hotel by 5.30 am and catch the ship / boat at Mirissa harbor.

Unawatuna beach is one of the most beautiful beaches available in the southern coastal area. Ideal to spend some relaxed time.

Dutch fort located in the middle of the Galle city is an iconic place. It's worth visiting and spending some time. Specially with the sunset. There are some good restaurants and shops available if you wish to roam around.

Day 9: End of the Tour - Departure for the Airport or Hotel in Colombo

You should make a visit to see these beautiful reptiles if you are in the Galle area. Worth spending some time with them. We can adjust the time of this visit based on your departure flight time.

We can make a quick visit to Colombo city and cover the most important places including Gangarama temple, Independence Square, Colombo Fort, Red Mosque, Old Parliament complex etc
