06 Days 05 Nights Cusco Machupicchu And Rainbow Mountain Package

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive to Cusco and City Tour.

Stop At: Cusco, Cusco, Cusco Region
Once you arrive, a representative of Machupicchu Luna Tours will wait for you at the international airport of Cusco, to take you to your previously selected hotel. We recommend our passengers to take the morning free to acclimate. Because Cusco is at a considerable height (3400m / 11200ft above sea level).

In the afternoon our city tour will begin at 02:10 pm, where we will visit the most spectacular places in and out of the city, such as Qoriqancha Temple, Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pukapukara and Tambomachay.
Our tour ends at 6 or 6:30 pm. this day, we will leave the passengers close the main square of Cusco.

Day 2: Sacred Valley of the Incas and Machupicchu overnight.

Stop At: Sacred Valley, Sacred Valley, Cusco Region
8:00 am our tourist transport will pick you up from your hotel, on the way we will make some stops, where we will be able to take pictures and appreciate the sacred valley of the Incas. Once in Pisaq, we can visit its archaeological center and its artisan market, full of terraces and temples. Afterwards, we will go through the valley to the town of Urubamba, where we will stop to take our lunch in a beautiful restaurant, trying different types of dishes and unique flavors that can only offer us a great buffet lunch.

In the afternoon we will visit the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo, we will know the history of this place and then you will take the train from the Ollantaytambo station to go Aguas Calientes, you will travel by train for 1 hour and 45 minutes, once we arrive there, a representative of the hotel of Machupicchu will be waiting for you to take us to our Hotel; And 30 minuts after our guide will be in your hotel and will give the details of the tour to Machupicchu.

Day 3: Guided tour in Machupicchu.

Stop At: Machu Picchu, Machu Picchu, Sacred Valley, Cusco Region
We will pick you up from your hotel or agree a meeting point early in the morning, we will take us to the bus station where we will travel for half an hour towards the main entrance to the citadel of Machupicchu.

Once we arrive, our guide will wait for us to start our guided tour for 2 hours, visiting the most important places, then we will have to take the bus Return to “Aguas Calientes”.
Later in the afternoon you will take our train back to the station of Ollantaytambo and then Cusco.

Day 4: Maras, Moray and Salineras Tour.

Stop At: Moray Valle Sagrado de los Incas, Maras 08655 Peru
08:00 am our tourist transport will pick you up from your hotel to start our adventure through the mountains on the way to Moray, once there we can learn about the importance of this place, its function in the Inca era and of course you can take photos of this amazing place.

Then we will head for the town of Maras to observe its colonial style Spanish streets and doors, and then to Salineras, an impressive place with more than 2,000 salt pits, which are still being exploited by the locals. Ending our tour, we will return to Cusco.

Day 5: Rainbow Mountain Tour.

Stop At: Montana de Siete Colores, Cusco 084 Peru
We will pick you up from your hotel at 4:20 am in the morning, to start our great adventure in the direction of the Rainbow Mountain. We will travel by bus for 2 hours in our tourist transport until arriving to the community Cusipata where we will have a delicious breakfast before to continue with the dirty road for 40 minutes more, during the trip we will be able to observe beautiful landscapes, canyons and beautiful glaciers as The Ausangate. After walking for 1 hour and a half we will arrive at our destination, Rainbow Mountain (5.020m / 16.466 ft.), where we will have free time to enjoy the beauty of the mountain, take pictures, enjoy a snack or just relax. After enjoying the rainbow mountain we will start the walk back to have a delicious lunch in our restaurant and then return to the imperial city of Cusco.

Day 6: Tranfer to the Airport
