Day 1: ARRIVAL IN CUSCO
Pass By: Cusco, Cusco, Cusco Region
One member of Inkayni team will be waiting for you in the airport or bus terminal when you arrive in Cusco city. Then, we will lead you to your hotel; you'll have a free day to acclimatize to the altitude and explore the city downtown by your own. This day is very important as it will serve for rest and acclimatization in the city.

Day 2: CHINCHERO - MARAS - MORAY
Stop At: Sacred Valley, Sacred Valley, Cusco Region
Firstly, we will pick you up from your hotel around 8 am., and then head to Moray. The drive is about 1 hour and 20 minutes, and it is beautiful. You will drive through the snow-capped peaks of the Andes, through lush yellow fields of wheat, past some villages.
Finally, you will arrive at the fascinating display of terraces in Moray. Moray boasts three amphitheater-like terraces made by the Incas. These terraces, which are carved deep into the earth in a bowl shape, were thought to be used to determine the optimal conditions for growing crops.
When you are done exploring Moray, you will head to the salt mines of Maras, which is about 2 miles (3.22 km) away. This village is known as a former salt-producing center that is thought to date back to pre-Inca times. There are over 3000 salt pools all carved into the mountainside, being filled daily by a little stream of water.
The last place to visit will be Chinchero. Here we can admire the well-preserved Inka walls of the main square as well as the many altars. We will also visit the beautiful colonial church, unique for its interior artwork and imagery. Moving on, we will participate in a wonderful introduction and learning experience of the art of Andean textiles; throughout the afternoon, we will become acquainted with the wisdom of Andean weaving as maintained since long before Inka times.
Later we'll catch our train in Ollantaytambo. After travelling 2 hours, we'll arrive at Aguas Calientes (the nearest small town to Machu Picchu), where we'll spend the night.

Day 3: VISIT TO MACHU PICCHU
Stop At: Machu Picchu, Machu Picchu, Sacred Valley, Cusco Region
This day, we will start by waking up very early and then take the bus that will take us from Aguas Calientes town to Machu Picchu citadel.
Our guide will provide you all the information on the site during 02 hours of a guided tour. We'll learn about the Historical Sanctuary in its entire splendor.
We return to Aguas Calientes to have lunch.
Finally, we'll catch the train back to Ollantaytambo town, and then we will go back to Cusco city. At night We'll drop you off at your hotel.

Day 4: HUMANTAY LAKE
Stop At: Humantay Lake, 08645, Peru
Early in the morning between 4 and 5 am, we will pick you up from your hotel. After travelling for 2 hours and a half, we'll arrive to Mollepata, where we will have our breakfast.
We will continue our journey to Soraypampa, the start point for the short trek (2 hours 30 min. approximately).
In the ascent, we will have the opportunity to observe the diverse flora and fauna of all this beautiful area.
We can observe some native birds of the area, as well as get great views of the Andean landscape.
Once we arrived in the area, we can enjoy our snacks, reached our goal we will be delighted with the spectacular views of the Humantay lagoon and its turquoise waters.
We'll return to our start point through the same way we took.
In the afternoon after lunch, we will return to Cusco city.

Day 5: RAINBOW MOUNTAIN
Stop At: Agencia Vinicunca, Montaรฑa Arcoiris, 08002, Urb Mateo Pumacahua 542 Wanchaq, Interior Oficina A2, Cusco 08002, Peru
You will need to wake up early to enjoy this natural marvel at its best. Between 4:00 am and 5:00 am, we'll pick you up directly from your hotel to start our ride to the south of Cusco through beautiful landscapes of valleys and agricultural communities. First we will drive for around 2 hours to the town of Cusipata (3,329ย m / 12,772 ft.).
After breakfast near Cusipata, we will continue our trip by van following a beautiful roadside between the mountains accompanied by our first views of Ausangate, the highest peak of Cusco. Along the way we will pass through herds of hundreds of alpacas and llamas and the occasional shepherd or local people moving about their daily activities.
Our ascent will begin in Phuluwasipata and last about 2 hours, bringing us to our final destination and highest point on our Rainbow Mountain trek (or Vinicunca trek), at 5,020 mts / 16,470 ft. Here we will stop to admire and appreciate the outstanding views in all directions and the rare geological formations that appear to be painted with exotic colors by Gods hand. Far below and into the distance are infinite valleys and glaciers as far as one can see. We will stop for about 30 minutes โ the perfect amount of time to rest, to have a snack, and immerse yourself in this wild environment before we must begin our descent, roughly an hour and a half hours towards the point where we started the dayโs hike in Phuluwasipata, there our transport will be waiting to take back us to restaurant in Cusipata where we enjoy an energizing lunch.
Finally, we'll back to Cusco in our private van. We will leave you back around Cusco downtown around 4:30 p.m to 5:30 p.m.
