Day 1: ARRIVAL IN CUSCO โ€“ FREE DAY
A Waman Adventures staff member will greet you at the airport in Cusco and take you to our partner lodge in the charming historic district of San Blas. The lodge is centrally located and only a few minutesโ€™ walks from the Plaza de Armas, the beautiful and bustling town center. Meet your expedition group at 5:00 pm for an orientation talk.

Day 2: CHINCHERO โ€“ MARAS โ€“ MORAY
This day, first we will pick you up from your hotel to head towards the colorful town of Chinchero, where we will find Inca walls and its small colonial church which holds a lot of history, we will also have small participation in the elaboration of the Andean weavings. Continuing our visit, we will go to the famous circular cultivation terraces of Moray. After this, we will descend towards the Salineras de Maras, picturesque place for its landscapes; Here, we will visit the more than 3,000 salt wells which are produced, this salt was used by the Incas for their consumption. Finally, we will head towards the Ollantaytambo station to take the train that will take us to โ€œAguas Calientesโ€.

Day 3: VISIT TO THE INCA CITADEL OF MACHU PICCHU
This day, we will start by waking up very early. Then, we will take the bus from โ€œAguas Calientesโ€ to Machu Picchu. Our guide will provide you with all the information about the site during 02 hours of the guided tour to learn about the Historical Sanctuary in all its splendor. Then, you will have time to tour the Sanctuary on your own and take amazing photos. We will return to โ€œAguas Calientesโ€ to have lunch. We will take the train back to Ollantaytambo, then we will be taken to Cusco to finally drop you off at your hotel.

Day 4: COOKING CLASS
This is a very special day as we begin our Peruvian cuisine cooking class โ€“ supervised by a professional chef you will learn step by step the art in the kitchen to create the most delicious dishes using simple recipes with the finest ingredients in the country. Here we will also learn about the history of each dish and the unique elements native to the Andes that give each plate its fabulous taste.

Day 5: TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT
Free morning, so you can relax and/or visit the city. In the afternoon or according to the schedule of your flight, we will take you to the airport for your departure to Lima. NOTE: The tour begins and ends at the airport and/or bus station of CUSCO.
