The recommended season for this adventure is during the months from September to mid June, when the days are not too warm.

The weather during the experience can be very warm with daytime temperatures ranging from 19 to 33°C, at night it can drop to 8°C, especially in January and February.

Depending on the day, once the scheduled activities are over, you will generally be able to enjoy free time to relax and take pictures. This time will be announced by the guide at the beginning of your experience.

After the scheduled activities you can get to know your fellow travelers better, explore the area and enjoy the nature around you. In Marrakech you can visit the Medina Souks, the Djemaa El Fna, the medersa Ben Youssef, Koutoubia Mosque, Saadina Tombs, the beautiful Bahia Palace, Marrakech Museum and more. In Ouarzazate you can see the Tifoultoute Kasbah, the cinema museum, Ksar de Taorirt, and more. Consult your guide for more information about the places you can visit. Activities and visits during free time are not included.

This experience includes 04 breakfasts, 04 lunches and 04 dinners, with entrance (vegetarian salad), main menu (Morrocan food like tagine, vegetables, meat, chicken, soup, bread), water and dessert (fruits, coffee, and tea).

Meal options can vary from $9 to $25 USD. We recommend bringing a daily total of approximately $50 USD for days when no food is included.

This experience includes comfortable accommodation in Ouarzazate: Hotel Ouarzazate (03 stars) or similar - Private double room. Camp in the desert: Camp - Double occupancy private tent. Central accommodation in Marrakech: Hotel Riad (03 stars) or similar - Doble private room. Of course you can travel alone, but you must add a mandatory individual supplement. If you do not want to pay the extra you must select some of the following start dates during 2021: November 22 and during 2022: January 24.

The minimum recommended age for this adventure is 15 years old. Minors must always be accompanied by an adult (+18). The experience is recommended for people up to 80 years of age who are in really good physical condition and maintain an active life. Not recommended for pregnant travelers or people with back problems and heart conditions.

During the experience you only have phone coverage. Guides are equipped by Satellite phones for emergency matters. You can buy a sim card when arriving in the country, however, coverage is not available on all the parts of the trek through the desert. Wifi is available in Marrakech.

The common voltage in Morocco is 220V with a frequency of 50 Hz. The plugs have two round pins type C and E. The official outlets are type E and F. Mexican and Colombian travelers may need an adapter.

The first day begins at Marrakech. We recommend arriving throughout the morning and to contact your guide about 30 days previously to know the time and place where you can be picked up for the transfer to Ouarzazate.

The last day of this experience is exclusive for your departure from Marrakech to the country of origin. Check out at the hotel at 10:00 hrs.

Morocco does not require insurance, but we recommend a complete medical insurance that covers any eventuality such as delay or cancellation of flights, it is also suggested to cover major medical expenses for any type of emergency.
