Fiji uses the Fijian dollar (symbol: $), code FJD.Banknotes come in denominations of 100, 50, 20, 10 and 5 dollars. Dollar is subdivided into 100 cents. Coins come in denominations of 2 and 1 dollars and 50, 20, 10 and 5 cents.
Automatic teller machines are common in Fiji. You can usually find them in both large & small cities.You do not need a chip & PIN card to use an ATM โ your standard magnetic card will work fine.
Internet speed in Fiji is on average 5.2 Mbps. WiFi coverage in Fiji is low. It is not as easy to find one.
You can buy a SIM card for about 45.59 FJD, which includes 6 GB of data plan. You can choose from 2 telecoms: Digicel or Vodafone. Fiji uses GSM mobile networks GSM 900. All reptiles, live cattle, amphibians, bats, and the Fiji Gos Hawk require a licence to export issued the Permanent Secretary for Primary Industries.

Health regulations
It is recommended that travellers are up to date on routine vaccinations including measles-mumps-rubella (MMR), diphtheria-pertussis-tetanus (DPT), varicella (chickenpox), polio, and yearly flu shots.
A hepatitis A vaccination is recommended as travellers may contract hepatitis A through contaminated food or water in Fiji, regardless of where they are eating or staying.
A hepatitis B vaccination is recommended for those who may have sexual contact with a new partner, who may get a tattoo or piercing, or have any medical procedures.
