  • Day 1 Day 1: Xian To Tianshui By Bullet Train
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 1: Xian To Tianshui By Bullet Train

      Pick up from your Xian hotel, and transferred to Xian North Railway Station where you will catch 2-hour bullet train to Tianshui. Upon arrival, you will take a private vehicle to visit the well-known Maiji Grottoes. The Buddha statues are ceated on the cliff of the Maiji hills, still are well-preserved with fresh colors for over 1500 years. 

      Later, you will be transferred to the hotel in Tianshui.

      Overnight at Tianshui 5-star hotel.

  • Day 2 Day 2: Tianshui To Lanzhou By Bullet Train

      Day 2: Tianshui To Lanzhou By Bullet Train

      You will take 1.5-hour bullet train this morning to Lanzhou. Upon arrival, you will visit Gansu Museum(Gansu Museum), Yellow River, and the White Pagoda Mount in the city Lanzhou with a local guide. Particularly Gansu Museum is a nice museum to display all sorts of relics from Gansu province in the history.

  • Day 3 Day 3: Lanzhou To Yongtai Old City By Car

      Day 3: Lanzhou To Yongtai Old City By Car

      Today you will take 3-hour car ride to Yongtai Old City, which used to be a military fort in Ming Dynasty 500 years ago, and still are well-preserved with local people living in the city. 

      Afterwards you will be transferred to hotel in Jingtai.

  • Day 4 Day 4: Yongtai Old City To Wuwei By Car

      Day 4: Yongtai Old City To Wuwei By Car

      Today you will take 2.5-hour car ride to Wuwei, on the way you will visit the Tiantishan Grottoes, which was one of the earliest caves built in China about 1500 years ago. 

      This afternoon, you will visit Leitai Tomb Ruin where the Galloping Horses on the Swallow statue was excavated.  Then you will check in the hotel in Wuwei.

  • Day 5 Day 5: Wuwei To Zhangye By Car

      Day 5: Wuwei To Zhangye By Car

      Today you will take 3-hour car ride to Zhangye, where you will visit Dafo Temple which is also Zhangye City Museum. There is a huge sleeping Buddha Statue that was built about 2000 yeas ago. 

      Later, you will check in the hotel in Zhangye.

  • Day 6 Day 6: Sightseeing In Zhangye

      Day 6: Sightseeing In Zhangye

      Today you will take one-hour ride to Maiti Temple, which is an impressive cave temple with frescos and statues. You will follow a local guide to explore this fantastic attraction.

      Then you will take 2-hour car ride to Danxia Rainbow Mountain, which is colorful mountain with black, red, yellow, white, pink, and blue etc. clay.

      Later you will be transferred back to your hotel.

  • Day 7 Day 7: Zhanye To Jiayuguan By Car

      Day 7: Zhanye To Jiayuguan By Car

      Take 2-hour car ride to Jiayuguan. Visit the Western end of the the Great Wall, Jiayuguan Fort, with a local guide to learn its history. The fort was built in the valley that is the narrowest part of the Hexi Corridor in the Silk Road. 

      Climb up a rebuilt section Great Wall, Overhanging Great Wall to have a bird view of the entire Jiayuguan city.

      Moreover, you will visit the tomb brick painting in the Wei and Jin Ancient Graveyard, where we have excavated the China Post painting, a postman is riding a horse to send mails.

      Later, you will check in the hotel in Jiayuguan.

  • Day 8 Day 8: Jiayuguan To Dunhuang

      Day 8: Jiayuguan To Dunhuang

      Today you will take 5-hour car ride from Jiayuguan to Dunhuang, you will enjoy the Gobi Desert and snow-capped Qilian Mountain landscape in the car.

      You will visit Singing Sand Dunes and Crescent Moon Spring this afernoon, where you will have opportunity to ride camel if you wish.

      Explore the night market in Dunhuang in the evening.

      Overnight in Silk Road Dunhuang Hotel(Super nice 4-star hotel to view the Sand Dunes)

  • Day 9 Day 9: Departing From Dunhuang

      Day 9: Departing From Dunhuang

      Mogao Caves are must-see attraction in Dunhuang. With a history over 1600 years, the grottoes are constructed with colorful frescos, paintings, and stories. You will visit the grottoes this morning with a professional cave guide.

      This afternoon, you will be transferred to Dunhuang airport(or Dunhuang Railway Station) where you will catch your flight to your next destination, this wonderful tour concludes.
