  • Day 1 Arrival-Windhoek

      Arrival-Windhoek

      Upon arrival at the airport, you will meet up with Across Africa Tours driver and transferred to Tiown Lodge, the airport is 45 km outside Windhoek, the capital city of Namibia. Later you will join our guide for free township tour. Dinner will be at own expense at the restaurant of your choice.

  • Day 2 Windhoek- Kalahari Desert

      Windhoek- Kalahari Desert

      Today you will rise early to depart your accommodation en route to the Kalahari desert to reach the town of Ghazni where the San Bushmen live. Take a guided bushwalk in this seemingly barren landscape and learn about the local way of life where ancient people have survived for centuries. Enjoy a genuine cultural experience and learn how the bushmen live off the land by using the natural resources in their environment and balancing an existence in the fragile ecosystem in which they live. By supporting the San Bushmenโ€™s eco-tourism initiative, you are also helping keep their culture alive. Have a traditional meal and watch an ancient ritual dance tonight around the bonfire in which the San Bushmen sing and dance for healing, trance or spiritual purpose

  • Day 3 Day 3: Kalahari- Fish River Canyon

      Day 3: Kalahari- Fish River Canyon

      Our exploration continues with a visit to the Giants Playgrounds, named for the way in which the massive dolerite boulders have been placed on each other โ€“ creating rock formations and a series of mazes. We board the truck and travel south on the gravel byways of Southern Namibia on route to Ais-Ais. Famed for its hot springs, the resort and its hot pools are the perfect tonics to ease away the dust of the Namib. The Fish River Canyon is one of the largest in the world and this afternoon we take a walk along the rim of the canyon and end our day with a memorable sunset on the canyon edge.   • Day 4 Aus - Luderitz

      Aus - Luderitz

      Early morning departure for the short drive to Luderitz. We travel on the main road and keep a sharp look out for the unique Namib wild horses. Visit Kolmanskop, a ghost town where bigger and better diamonds where found along the coast. Your guide will discuss with you activities that can be done in Luderitz at your own expenses.

      Today you will have a free day at Luderitz. You will get the chance to visit the museum to enjoy the white sand beaches and engage in optional activities ( excluded). The guide we help you to plan for the events today at your own cost.

  • Day 6 Day 6: Aus, Sesriem, Namib Desert

      Day 6: Aus, Sesriem, Namib Desert

      Today, say goodbye to luderitz and head south to the Namib Desert. Make a brief stop in Walvis Bay before arriving in Namib Naukluft, where youโ€™ll take a guided desert tour. Go to sleep early tonight to prepare you for your early wake time in the morning.

  • Day 7 Sossusvlei Area

      Sossusvlei Area

      A pre-dawn start is essential this morning as we want to catch the soft light of the sunrise on the desert. Climb the famous Dune 45 and then take a 4ร—4 vehicle to visit Sossusvlei and Deadvlei. Finally, say farewell to the dunes and head to Sesriem Canyon before heading back to your accommodation for the night.

  • Day 8 Sesriem- Windhoek

      Today you will rise to drive back to Windhoek; You will stop by to a local restaurant to enjoy local cuisine lunch. Before the sunset, we will drop you off at Town Lodge or similar Dinner will be served tonight. Sleep early to prepare for the next day.

  • Day 9 Windhoek- Okonjima
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Windhoek- Okonjima

      Get picked up from your accommodation between 8:30 and 9:00. Head north and stop at several small towns, such as Okahandja, Namibiaโ€™s largest wood craving market. The market is operated on a local co-operative basis and it is an excellent place to shop for souvenirs.

  • Day 10 Okonjima- Namutuni, Etosha National Park

      Okonjima- Namutuni, Etosha National Park

      Wake up early and continue traveling north toward Etosha National Park, making some short stops for supplies and fuel. Arrive at the Namutoni region camp for lunch and the first game-drive of your trip.

  • Day 11 Etosha National Park

      Etosha National Park

      Get up early and get ready for an exciting game drive day. Visit several waterholes and enjoy magnificent views of the massive Etosha Pan, a shallow depression that is dry for the greater part of the year, but fed by moisture from perennial springs on the fringes, that covers 25% of the park. After excellent game viewing, head to Namutoni camp for lunch and some rest. You can visit the waterhole and take a swim in the pool or have a drink at the bar. Continue to Fort Namutoni camp for overnight.Fort Namutoni is an old German campsite with ample facilities. From its viewing deck you can enjoy an splendid view of the King Nehale Waterhole as well as an unforgettable sunset.It is also a great option for birders, due to its proximity to Fisherโ€™s Pan. It offers two restaurants, a craft shop, a pool, a superette, and a curio shop

  • Day 12 Etosha National Park To Groot-Berg

      Etosha National Park To Groot-Berg

      Leaving Etosha National Park, we begin our journey south with a relatively short drive to the small town of Kamanjab.The Brandberg (Burning Mountains) are regarded as the highest in Namibia and home to the famous White Lady, one of more than 45,000 rock paintings in the area. After reaching our destination for the day, this afternoon we will make the 1-hour hike to visit the painting that is said to be around 2,000 years old. Overnight in Brandberg.

  • Day 13 Grootberg Area To Twyfelfontein

      Today we head into one of the most beautiful desert regions in Namibia, Damaraland. We drive west via the Grootberg Pass and then take a detour to visit the ancient Bushman rock engravings at Twyfelfontein.Twyfelfontein is a rocky site situated in the Kunene Region of north western Namibia. The site contains around 2,000 rock carvings and in 2007, UNESCO approved it as a World Heritage Site. The site is one of the largest and most important concentrations of rock art in Africa, and was proclaimed a National Monument in 1952. Experience cultural and ethnic meeting with the Damara tribe at the Living Museum surrounded by fascinating nature, rock formations and magnificent landscape of Damaraland.Overnight at Twyfelfontein Lodge or similar

  • Day 14 Twyfelfontein To Swakopmund

      Twyfelfontein To Swakopmund

      Depart early morning and travel through Brandberg, Namibia highest mountain, stop over at Uis, an old mining town. Travel through Skeleton coast, Henties bay, visit Cape Cross. Later enjoy Swakopmund however you please. You might choose to go on a dolphin cruise, go sky diving, or more.

  • Day 15 Swakopmund- Windhoek

      Swakopmund- Windhoek

      Enjoy a free morning in Swakopmund. Go shopping, enjoy the beach, visit the museum or the aquarium, and drive back to Windhoek. You can also join optional activities, scenic drives, fishing trips (both from the beach or in a boat), skydiving, surfing a bird-watching. Depart the town after lunch and travel back to Windhoek ( Your trip ends with an accommodation drop-off or at the airport where your 15 days Namibian safari come to an end
